Rate the Game: Week 35
 

So Castlevania got some decent love last week but it's time to see how it rated overall. I didn't officially vote in the poll but I took my rating of 4 into account when I did the average. So with that in mind, Castlevania earns an average rating of 3.8 which puts it together with some interesting company on the leaderboard. Let's take a look:

all the talk in the Castlevania thread last week caused me to buy the collection from the Xbox store. Was on sale for $10 which is a steal for IV alone. Also have Bloodlines from Genesis, which I fondly remember.

Great game to it's core, I rate it 4 because it was a tad short and left me wanting more.

I will give it an easy 5. One of my favorite NES games next to Castlevania and Mario. Fun, challenging and just overall, unmatched on the platform.

ive never enjoyed bullet hell games. but contra is def on of the better ones

I can't call myself the biggest Castlevania fanatic but I can easily call Super Castlevania 4 boss as fuck.

This brings up a question: I trust you guys are taking replayability into account?
