Metroid: Other M

I had lower expectations, but I'm loving it.

El Fangel 04-24-2011 02:19 PM

I need to get rid of Black Ops. I am playing Re5 and RED

G 04-24-2011 02:23 PM

I am probably gonna do it. I haven't played in over a month and don't really want to play it anymore. I currently have a $30 Amazon trade in window open for it, so I will have to make up my mind within a few days before it expires.

RoXer 04-24-2011 02:25 PM

let me know

G 04-24-2011 02:28 PM

when i sell my map pack i will also sell yours and send you the $$

G 04-24-2011 02:29 PM

the only good thing of playstation

G 04-24-2011 04:50 PM

I'm out. Amazon is giving $75 for the Hardened Edition, which is crazy stupid so I can't pass it up. Never gonna get that much for it again.

Fignuts 04-24-2011 05:46 PM

Mortal Kombat

Boomer 04-24-2011 05:50 PM

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment still. God its taking me forever, still about 8 or 9 dungeons to go. So lost in the story.

Also Borderlands, Fallout 3, League of Legends, and Portal 2 (just co-op now).

Lara Emily 04-25-2011 02:15 AM

Just. Finished Force Unleashed 2 which I actually enjoyed and now I'm on to Fable III again which I love

ZuttoKai 04-25-2011 08:28 AM

Currently on Dragon Age 2 and Pokemon White.

Also just finished a 3rd playthrough of Borderlands, and I'll probably go through a 4th time.

El Fangel 04-25-2011 09:15 AM

San Andreas last night.

The Jayman 04-25-2011 09:31 AM

Picked up Borderlands this weekend

El Fangel 04-25-2011 10:02 AM

Is Borderlands really that good.

The Jayman 04-25-2011 10:26 AM

It is actually pretty fun. I didn't know if I would like it that much due to the fact it is a first person shooter/RPG kinda like Fallout(which I didn't care too much for). I love the sniping in the game

DaveBrawl 04-25-2011 09:30 PM

Currently playing Assassin's Creed 2, but I can't get into it like I did with the first one.

Maybe I'll just skip over finishing it and Brotherhood and jump into Oblivion since I finally got a replacement for my cracked disc.

I'm not a big FPS guy and tried it last year at the behest of a buddy of mine who wouldn't leave me the hell alone until I played it. The RPG elements pulled me in, in a way Fallout never really did, and the art style of it really stood out.

And yeah, it's fun as hell sniping stuff.

Quickly getting the trophies for Blue Turd Mystery Files

Ultra Mantis 04-28-2011 07:09 PM

Playing through Assassin's Creed for the first time. Up to the third "memory" and finding it to be somewhat underwhelming so far, horrible voice acting too.

Ultra Mantis 05-01-2011 08:52 AM

Just finished Assassins Creed. Pretty horrible game tbh, especially the end "sequence", mainly because the combat system is ballsacks, but also it then took me 5 minutes of going "what do you actually want me to do here?" while aimlessly looking at gibberish on the floor before I looked at the right thing and the credits kicked in. Worst game I've played since Dirge of Cerberus.

Matt Gingarac 05-03-2011 02:48 PM

starting deadrising 2, anyone played it?

Boomer 05-03-2011 03:09 PM

If I beat Persona 2: Eternal Punishment this week, I will be the happiest man alive. Had to spend three or hour hours grinding to beat a couple of bosses yesterday. Stupid JRPGs with stupid difficulty spikes.

With Innocent Sin, I've logged 120 hours on this ridiculous storyline involving Japanese high-schoolers combating typical high school problems while trying to overcome the end of the world and the return of Hitler.

2 and Brotherhood are so much better. AC1 is horrible. I would play at least the 2nd before giving up on AC.

Glad to hear that, only reason I forced myself to finish it was so I'd be up to speed on the story. Don't intend of playing AC2 anytime soon though, awful memories of the first game are still fresh.

Now I thought it was the other way. I loved the first one, but can't really find the fun in 2. My brother was the same way, he said 2 picks up around half way, but I just left the first city and haven't found myself wanting to finish it.

looks good so far

Tom Guycott 05-04-2011 08:13 AM

Alternating between Gears 3 Beta, both Duke Nukems from Live Arcade, and spectacularly failing at trying to complete the gold "Boneyard Challenge" time achievement for WET.

Londoner 05-04-2011 08:42 AM

All the ones i mentioned before still + PDC Darts World championship 2010. Great game, for darts fans like myself anyway.

Riker 05-04-2011 10:17 AM

Just got Dragon Age 2, about 7-8 hours in, so many sidequests to do.

Really like the new combat changes.

Riker 05-04-2011 10:17 AM

Also, I have been playing original Everquest recently since they relaunched the classic servers. Its fun, if it ever comes back online.

Snowden 05-05-2011 03:44 PM

I'm about 35 hours in, Dragon Age II is MOSTLY sidequests. Not that that's a bad thing necessarily...the storytelling isn't your traditional point-a-to-point-b narrative, but it works.

Ultra Mantis 05-05-2011 05:58 PM

Playing through God of War HD Collection. Lots of boobs, blood and button mashing. The three magic Bs.

Requiem 05-05-2011 07:59 PM

Play it on Titan mode (or God mode for the first) and you'll find the button mashing disappears, and you have to be a lot more precise in what you do.

Never did beat Titan mode in GoW2. It crushed our souls.

Razzamajazz 05-06-2011 12:48 AM

i have that collection too, but i got stuck on ares in gow1 and havent played it since. this was last summer

Matt Gingarac 05-06-2011 09:27 AM

If its harder than Challenge of the Gods I'm not even going to attempt it. I'm failing miserably at that mode right now.

Ares isn't that bad if you just do L1 + Square with the blades of Chaos mixed in with some Poseiden's Rage. Thought the Guardian was harder.

Beat both God of Wars in the HD Collection and am currently working on Challenge of the Titans. I thought Challenge of the Gods was hard but this shit is ridic.

Really like Atelier Rorona too, I was expecting to be disappointed since it's essentially an alchemy game but it's so addictive and I keep hitting my deadlines before I even do everything I wanted to. Pretty great in a whimsical oddball Japanesey way.

Metroid: Other M

I picked up Enslaved yesterday and played through the first 3 chapters. So far I really like it. I also re-purchased Twilight Princess for Wii and kind of started that. I hate waggling to attack, but I'll get used to it again.

Think I might do a second run through of Rorona too, I've finished it but I don't feel done with it, ridiculously addictive. Not sure I'll play it 13 times to get all the endings but had a lot of fun and will definately be picking up the sequel.

Gonzo 05-30-2011 06:07 PM

I never play games to "beat" them anymore. Perhaps I just don't play games with a typical end game. Lately I've been playing Starcraft II. I may go pick up the newest Tiger Woods game. My dad bought it for PS3 and says it's good. I'll have to do some research first though.

DAMN iNATOR 05-31-2011 10:45 AM

Rented Fight Night Champion the other night. Pretty decent but could still use a bit more effort with the polish. Only had it for 2 nights (out of 5), and found myself in Legacy mode already at G.O.A.T. level, and just retired.

Also, pretty well too fed up to go back to Champion mode and try to survive Isaac Frost for two rounds and then nail him with 75 body shots over 3 rounds w/o getting KO'd just so I can have a "fair" shot at knocking him out and winning the stupid belt.

They all work perfectly, too. There is a special that ends Saturday that if you buy over $10 worth of games, you get 100% off coupon that you can use on anything, even the $100 micro console. Gonna be using my coupon on that. The ability to watch other people play if very cool, too.

I started playing Fable III again trying to do all the sidequests. They released a bunch of DLC, but I don't know if they are worth it.

Playing Bioshock mainly, but with some of those free PSN games on the odd occassion. Streets of Rage 2 is still ridiculously fun for what it is, never get tired of busting out belly to belly suplexes on everyone in sight.

I bought Sonic Colors on Friday on impulse forgetting that the last Sonic game I liked was Sonic Advance 2. I beat it in 4 and a half hours and have no desire to play for speed runs. It's a good game, probably the best non handheld Sonic game since Sonic and Knuckles. I give it a 7.5.

Finally finished L.A. Noire. Won't be picking that up again until the last 2 cases go up.

Popped in inFamous 2 and I love it right now. But I'll put that down briefly and play the finale of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Ressurection.

Red Dead Redemption. I know I'm late to that party but I was bored one weekend, bought it for cheap and have been hooked ever since.

Yakuza 3. I finished the first 2 last week and I'm in love with the sries. Kind of hate the PS3 models though, but the game is still awesome.

On like, my 4th season in Fifa 11.

Won the champion's league with Villareal, and now I'm with Manchester United and beating everyone 9-0. Time to bump up the difficulty, methinks.
