Sid are you making up these angles or do they naturally occur when you select certain thing, I can't remember, I don't normally read the results too much.

Cactus Sid 07-06-2004 05:14 PM

Well, I do certain angles which go with what I want to do as best as possible, and then I write them as I want them to go, such as the angle at the end of the PPV was just Cactus Sid challenges Bret Hart for the Authority Position, and with things like the angle on Impact, I just do an Interview or an Authority angle and add the rest.

Cactus Sid 07-13-2004 10:51 AM

BUMPAGE

Building up to the big Clash Of Champions PPV, I've got a really huge angle planned, which depends entirely on signing one person. It will either be at the Clash or it'll be on the last Impact of the year. Anyway, I've still got 2 Impacts 2 book, but this is the card for the PPV

NWA Heavyweight Title Iron Man Match: Christopher Daniels (c) vs AJ Styles
NWA Tag Team Titles Tables Ladders and Chairs: Konnan and BG James (c) vs Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg vs Ron Killings and Justin Credible vs America's Most Wanted
NWA X-Title: CM Punk (c) vs Low-Ki vs The Amazing Red
NWA International Title Clockwork Orange House Of Fun: Cactus Sid (c) vs Raven
Juventud Guerrera vs Jerry Lynn
Teddy Hart vs Elix Skipper
Hulk Hogan vs Brock Lesnar
NO DQ: The Sandman vs Shane Douglas
International 6 Man Tag: Jeff Hardy, Shark Boy and Jushin Thunder Lyger vs Taka Michinoku, Jimmy Yang and Julio Dinero

The Mackem 07-13-2004 02:48 PM

Right I wrote something earlier about my current FWA game but it didn't post for some reason. Basically I'm the FWA, I'm having a tag team tournament for the titles the teams going for them are

AJ Styles & D-Lo Brown vs The Family (Paul Travell and Ian DiSiple)
Hard as Nails (Doug Williams & James Tinghe) vs InSlane (Mikey Whipwreck & Burchill)
Cool Dragons (Ultimo Dragon & Hade Vasen) vs Alex Shane & Mark Sloan
2 Extreme (Jerry Lynn & Jeff Hardy) vs F'n Amazing (Chris Chetti & Jonny Storm)

I've already managed to f it up because I thought you could pick who would fight each other once they advanced so next round I've got AJ Styles & D-lo against Hard as Nails (both face teams).

The tournament is basically to get some tag treams in the promotion going because I had nothing except The Family and D-lo and AJ who I made active who had any experience. So I bunched some guys together and gave them some crap names.

The Mackem 07-13-2004 02:50 PM

Oh yeah and this game might not last so long because I'm losing money quick. That's what I get for signing people like AJ Styles to written contracts for fear of losing them.

Wow that was a pretty shit Smackdown! :-\

Disturbed316 07-16-2004 04:11 PM

Last night's WWE Smackdown! show got an overall rating of 73.9%.

The TV viewing figures for last night are now in: WWE recieved 1,111,494 viewers for WWE Smackdown! (increase of 59,279 viewers from previous show);

Hmmm figures dont suggest it though.

Cactus Sid 07-16-2004 04:16 PM

The problem with Smackdown is that even though your trying to shift talent across, there is still an immense amount of sh</>ite. Plus, with a Sports Entertainment fed, Cruisers don't get great ratings

The Mackem 07-17-2004 12:52 PM

Booking for Smackdown is a chore, especially when you first start.

Thats the thing that really anoys me about TEW, the way the fans dont enjoy face/face or heel/heel stuff. When quite alot of the time the stuff you put out is actually entertaining.

I'll have a look for the gimmick, dont think I have though :'(

As for pushing myself, the Nick Jackson in TEW is from the hard work from EWR days. I started as a mere jobber with shitty stats in EWR 2.0.something. I built myself up through out the different versions, re-adding myself to the new versions with the stats of the previous incarnation. I've paid my dues, I've been injured, I've had my share of crappy gimmicks, I've held mid-card titles and tag team titles. I've earned my place at the top. My hate for Triple H came from EWR 4.0. He kept saying I was a sloopy worker so I thought that would be interesting to put as a relationship in here :P

Now, only Benoit stands in my way to become THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!

Cactus Sid 07-19-2004 06:26 PM
