Aziz is significantly better than Omos

Aziz and Omos was good I thought, short but good. I think it would have been a good Mania match with some creative booking to make it longer and have some other guys take bumps.
Raw has a pretty good feeling about it tonight, feels like that Mania mode. Better late than never, though they didn't have much announced early I think they've been building decently since The Rumble.

No man Aziz is a great worker did you see that Stinger splash? Fucking awesome.
these recraps are killing me
weird to air the brock/roman promo while seth is just standing in the ring
Cody gonna interfere in the main event tonight? If not then I think it's safe to say he isn't going to WWE, at least not right now.
more recraps
RAW is RECAPS

oh well guess seth will face veer
Seth will probably do an 'open challenge' and if WWE signs Cody it will be Cody and if not it will be Veer or Omos or Bron Breakker
I'm saying Veer debuts at and wins the Andre Battle Royal at Mania.
Then we get 6 months of VEER CAME hype videos.

"Seth's dreams were dashed, and it turned into a nightmare."
hahahaha @ those being the last words anyone who tuned in hoping for Cody heard |
I mean, that’s a hint that he is coming in. Not sure why they wouldn’t have done the debut in Jacksonville though. Maybe next week Seth comes out and says “I wanted to go to WrestleMania to cement my star, but those hopes have turned to dust”, then the following week he says, “I hate Kevin Owens, he keeps dashing my hopes of getting to WrestleMania”. Then he says “something, something, legacy” and we work our way back through Cody’s career.
Then at the show, Veer debuts. |
Veer debuting at WrestleMania after 6 months of "Veer coming to Raw" promos would be kinda hilarious.
I'm telling you he's winning the battle royale.
I still just cannot see Cody being brought in for a WrestleMania spot. They would not want to reward people for going off and trying to be competition. All signs point to him having a WWE deal, but it would just seem like a political nightmare for him to bump someone that’s been there for the grind off the card.
They've got 2 days they don't need to bump anyone anymore
Which “star” is he bumping off the card? I see what you’re going for there but we’re living in a world where the biggest show of the year features Logan Paul, Johnny Knoxville, and Pat McAffee in matches. We’re in a “whatever gets eyeballs on the show” world. They need to weigh up “the optics” vs. what they see as the benefit of bringing Cody in (I.E. does he bring in part of the audience that aren’t already gonna buy?).

He’ll be in “comedy” skit within 18 months.

Plus, the ball is firmly in WWE’s court in terms of the optics; you can present it as you are, or you present it that one of the “founding fathers” of the “opposition” up and left to come back to the big leagues. Or, and this one is probably more likely, you don’t mention it at all. Plus, you have him lose to Rollins. |
