GTA4

Just beat Duke Nukem Forever...what an awesome game, best single player FPS I've played in years. The only flaws are that its too short and they made it a bit too PC by having pig cops not look like cops anymore...other then that, everything was awesome, I just wish it was a longer game. Here's hoping for a sequel.
Next will probably play Deus Ex : HR. Also playing Red Dead Redemption. :y: |
Virtua Tennis 2009
|
Currently getting destroyed in Mortal Kombat, stomped by turtles in FFXIII and uh, playing Back To The Future.
|
GTA4
Orange Box RDR Arkham Asylum Halo Wars Fable II |
Project Zomboid (Thanks to Hasney)
Frequent updates (2 alone today!) Just a fun game |
Perfect Dark (XBLA version)
Probably buying Punchout for the Wii before the end of the week. |
Finished RDR. Really liked it. Would have been even better if the ending wasn't spoiled for me months ago.
I'll have to get Undead Nightmare when I have some extra money. |
Games I've beaten so far in 2011:
Kirby's Epic Yarn Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Suikoden Portal Metroid Prime Portal 2 Metal Gear Solid Fallout 3 |
Since I'm unemployed and without friends, I have managed to get through a ton of shit recently. I have beaten.
The Witcher Singularity Uncharted 2 And Yet It Moves Cogs Just started Red Dead Redemption and Disgaea. Will be busy with those for a while. |
Got Undead Nightmare Collection as part of the deal of the week.
Playing UN right now and feeling a little let down. I've heard good things and my brother in law told me it was brilliant. Playing it and, admitedly, only done one main mission and just been doing a stranger task the rest of the time but I feel like I'm being pushed through the game already. Like I can't stop and do something else, I have to go from here to there. I'm already getting a little tired of the whole zombie thing (How can people do this for almost every game that comes out these days?). Go to a town, clear it of enemies, move on to the next town. Doesn't help that everything seems to be tinted a dark green. Does the game get better than this? (no spoilers, just a yes or no and a rough estimate of how far into the story it improves. 1/3 of the way in or whatever.) |

I think I hated Brotherhood more than I have hated any single video game in a long time.
I hated the first Gears of War a couple of years ago when I had it, even traded it in after beating the first Berserker, strictly because of the AI of my partner. I bought it again a few months ago and finally got around to playing both of them over the last few weekends with my brother and I enjoyed them, especially the second one. |

I hate the crowbarring of zombies into random games but I thought I'd give UN a try with it being RDR and R* but it's the same as every other zombie game I've seen on the 360. You stand somewhere, zombies charge at you from all directions. You kill them all, you move on to the next area. It seems to have stripped away a lot of the fun RDR features. No hunting or skinning animals, no gambling, no buying/selling, no bounties, no jobs, no fame, no honour/dishonour. |
The map for GTA 4 looks like a Dinosaur chasing a guy...who's raping some other guy....and Bohan is a dildo.

Is the little bit at the bottom a poo?
|
Of course it is, Happiness Island is fucking worthless. 6 pigeons and a stupid heart? Fuck it.
|
Finished Red Dead and Indigo Prophecy. Still have plenty to go in Disgaea, and started Planescape Torment. Considering starting something that isn't an RPG to give me a break from some long games, but I haven't decided on anything yet.

3 1/2 years to the day after it released, I finally made it to Elite rank in TCR6V2. My bro had owned it originally and then when he moved out I couldn't play it anymore because he took all his stuff with him (OBVI) and within the past month or two I picked up a copy for like $10 at GS. Good deal, although now that I'm done with T-Hunt (and don't really care about the achievement for completing Story Mode on Realistic difficulty anymore), I'll probably take it back sooner than later and use the in-store credit (or what there is of it anyway) towards my ES V: Skyrim pre-order total which is currently at a paltry $15.
|
Finished Deus Ex this afternoon. Could have sworn I had the game on hard mode and I sure as hell didn't kill anybody. Pretty pissed that I gotta go through this again.
I think I'm going to zip through Dragon Age 2 again before Arkham City drops. |
|
Playing Fallout 3 right now. Never got around to it before.

Before my PS3 died, I was playing Bleach: Soul Resurreccion, for a Hack n' Slash it was pretty good though I should've copied the save as it was hard. Just played Tyrian2k again today as well.

Star Wars Republic Commando..
Crimson Skies Area 51 (The one with Marilyn Manson's voice as Edgar the alien) TMNT (2003 version) The one with password code options. Left 4 Dead Series Half-Life 2 |
Just got to act 3 of Gears of War 3. So far, it is really fun, but it hasn't impressed me as much as GoW2.
Also playing AC:Brotherhood, and Street Fighter III OE |
Games I've beaten so far in 2011:
Nier Force Unleashed II Aliens Vs Predator Lost Planet 2 Force Unleashed 007: Blood Stone Killzone 3 Godfather II Lost Via Domus Bulletstorm RDR: Undead Nightmare Portal 2 Homefront Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Mortal Kombat Vanquish LA Noire Killzone 2 Crysis 2 Dragon Age II Age of Empires III Battle: Los Angeles Braid Defense Grid Gold Red Faction: Armageddon Amnesia: The Dark Descent Marvel v Capcom 3 Duke Nukem Forever Army of Two: The 40th Day Gears of War 3 Holy shit Gears was awesome. I wonder what they're doing next, using the same people or doing different like with ME. |
Gears was great, and the gameplay felt more polished than 2(which I didn't think was possible given how fucking great it was in 2) but it just didn't wow me like Gears 2 did. The journey across the mountains in those big walkers, the reaver fight with skorge, the brumak ride. Nothing in 3 seemed to match those. Was also kind of dissapointed that we learned nothing about the queen really. I'm okay not knowing the origin of the locust, but at least explain why some human looking woman is leading them.
In other news I'm back to playing AC: Brotherhood, and I have to say, if they want to make a whole bunch of psuedo sequels to AC 3 when it comes out, I would gladly hand them my money for it. Brotherhood is awesome, and Revelations looks like another hit. I am assuming AC 3 will be almost exclusively in the modern era as Desmond. |
Still battling my way through Disgaea. Halfway through, and really enjoying it. Wish I had gotten into the series when it first came out.
Played three hours of Binding of Issac, but haven't touched Planescape: Torment or Eternal Darkness since I started them last week. Will probably wait for Disgaea to be off this list. |
Games I've beaten so far in 2011:
Kirby's Epic Yarn Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Suikoden Portal Metroid Prime Portal 2 Metal Gear Solid Fallout 3 Heavy Rain Final Fantasy 3 |
Games beaten in 2011:
Assault Heroes Halo Reach Donkey Kong Country Returns Conflict Desert Storm Max Payne 2 Legend of Zelda (NES) - Second Quest Streets of Rage Remake (fan-made PC version) GTA IV: Lost and Dammed Half-Life 1 Gears of War 2 Loved Gears 2 a lot more than the 1st Gears game. Hated the Beserker battles in the first game and never bothered to finish the game. |
