Never really gave a shit about the original and I don't understand the need for a follow up after all this time.

I love the original and I watched the cartoon as a kid. They have left it long enough, there is a lot of Beetlejuice left to squeeze

I will credit the movie for introducing me to my first instance of a Goth chick with the Lydia character and putting my life on a different track.

No Alec Baldwin or Geena Davis?

Or Juno the case worker?

Nostalgia and wringing as much content from proven IP is the only way to make $ these days

As a kid I remember liking the cartoon more than the movie. Then as I got older I appreciated the movie more.

I don’t even have to look it up, he bumped his head and died on a cold hard floor.
I remember…

Tim Burton tried to do a Beetlejuice In Hawaii film ages ago, I hope he’s furiously shaking that script at studio executives as we speak.

Man.....just looked at his wiki page. Came out as gay as a teenager and his parents sent him to shock therapy to get rid of it. Feels terrible reading that.

Yeah that poor bastard had a hard life and we haven’t even scratched the surface. R.I.P. big Glenn Shadix.

Juno is in the after after after life

Has an actor ever changed in voice/looks over the years MORE than Alec Baldwin? He'd be the anti ghost.

We would have never had Michael *Best Batman* Keaton as Batman if it weren't for Beetlejuice.

Too bad Jeffrey Jones sucks. He was in a lot of movies I liked as a kid and he's still alive.

Seanny One Ball 05-19-2023 10:09 AM

Jeffrey Jones is a fantastic actor and not the paedo he is made out to be. As far as I remember he paid some teen boy to model nude for him, French directors have done that in films for years and nobody bats an eyelid anymore - ask Charlotte Gainsbourg.
I still remember seeing “Pretty Baby” on Netflix a few years ago in which a pre-teen Brooke Shields plays a child prostitute, that was long before the “Cuties” controversy.

Seems a tad unfair to tarnish some and not the others.

I’ll take Jeffrey Jones over Woody Allen all day long.

We should just start calling non violent sex offenders “Cannes Award Winners”
