s2 finale made me teary eyed. it was really cathartic to see Luke Skywalker treated the way long time fans know he should be treated

Mandalorian is so goddamn good. It's like, this shit is the reason why I ever considered myself a Star Wars fan. I feel like they've really tapped into what made Star Wars special for people so many years ago, and are creating that same type of magic for a newer generation that was frankly missing entirely from the sequel trilogy movies. The tie-ins with Clone Wars and shit has been awesome and even the super fan-servicey stuff (Boba Fett etc) never really felt that shoehorned in. I can't wait for season 3.
