I will finish the final season of Into the Badlands this evening; I've really enjoyed the third season, which they upped the ante and made a lot darker; it is definitely an improvement on the second season, which I think needlessly brought back Quinn, even though I generally like Marton Csokas as an actor (always plays a good baddie). The inclusion of Nick Frost in the second season has continued to pay off into the final season.

From tomorrow, I will re-watch the first season of Jack Ryan before watching the new one.

Decided to watch The League again. Great show.

Watched season 2 of The End Of The Fucking World the other day. The story was totally secondary to the acting this time. Pure performance chemistry.

Started Atypical Season 3. Gonna binge watch it before i binge watch anime tomorrow

Man...Castle Rock S1 pretty much just banked off the hype train of IT and guest stars....kinda was a dud in the end. S2 is really fucking good so far. Less Easter eggs, more story.

Starting EOTFW S2 now. I have to wrap my brain around what was that show and what was Wayne.

Fuck...I should have really rewatched last season

EOTFW has two incredibly emotionally tactile leads. That they play characters desperately trying to deadpan their way through life gives so much depth to every water filler eye.

It's a decent show with truly brilliant acting, pretty much a masterclass.

Empire

Finished S2. Breezed right through em. I love you, 1 ball

I don't know why I keep watching Ally McBeal; I'm on to season 4 and for most of the time since the end of season 2, I've wanted to throw Ally feet-first into a wood-chipper whenever she appears on screen.

Actually, I lie, I know exactly why I keep watching: Peter MacNicol, Greg Germann and Jane Krakowski are gold.

Lisa Edelstein has also appeared, and even though she is playing a tranny, she is fiiiiiiiiiiiiine.

Just finished The Kominsky Method S2. Dialogue in the show is very well written. Good show.


Onto End of the F*cking World S2. S1 was great. Hopefully it holds up.

Well, the story is spread thin but the acting is just beautiful.
I cannot credit Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden enough for their acting. Usually the strength of that sort of chemistry makes it harder on the rest of the cast because you judge them more when there is nothing to critique with perfection.
The really strange thing is that the supporting cast are uniformly as brilliant as they need be. Nobody misses their opportunity.

TEOTFW is one of the best series of all time already.

I remember on one of Bear Grylls "The Island" shows the castaways found the corpses of dozens of baby turtles on the beach after hatching.

So they ate them.

It was incredible watching them bite clean through the soft shells.

I just finished Jack Ryan season 2. Really good.

Love both seasons. Probably the closes thing to 24.

Just watched the first ep the other day and it seems good, going to work my way through now.

I'd say season 1 of Jack Ryan is superior to the most recent one, but season 2 is worth watching.

I'm currently on to the second season of The Last Ship. It's kind of naff, yet, I enjoy it a lot.

I finished the first season of Penny Dreadful, and I look forward to watching the other two seasons soon.

I watched the first episode of The Boys last night, and I can tell Karl Urban is going to be gold. Furthermore, Erin Moriarty is adorable.

I finished the second season of The Purge; I'd like to see a third to round off the series.

I'm currently watching The Lost Room, on Prime, which is a six-part series that originally aired in 2006. It has Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) and Julianna Margulies (ER, The Good Wife).

I'm two episodes in and I'm enjoying it quite a lot; it is a silly sci-fi, but has a proper story. If you liked Warehouse 13, and to a less extent The X-Files (nowhere near as dark), then I think you'll like it.

The Expanse is such binge-tastic TV; not enough Jared Harris, though.

I'm coming to the end of season 2. So good.
