The K.O. stunner fest would've been cooler if they'd kept his music rolling

erickman 02-19-2021 08:00 PM

one of the best parts of the show is the roh ad

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:13 PM

That was a very dastardly move by Jey Uso to interrupt Sami Zayn's Mania signing pointing time.

Azriel 02-19-2021 08:16 PM

seriously, the impertinence of it all

xrodmuc316 02-19-2021 08:25 PM

I love that Vince McMahon's idea for Shinsuke turning face was just to give him his old music back, the fucking racist old man lol

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:25 PM

Seems King Corbin might be getting some competition soon as the ruler of the Blue Brand if that reference from Apollo Crews about having Nigerian royalty ancestry is any indication.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:31 PM

 at Crews tripping over Big E after nailing him with the steps.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:38 PM

That's 2 shows in a row this week where WWE did a steps spot and stretcher job.

First on NXT a couple days ago and now on SD.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:52 PM

Did the medic get lost or something backstage?

That might have set a record for longest amount of time between a stretcher job and rolling up to the ambulance.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 08:53 PM

 at Billie Kay wearing Natalya inspired cat ears.

Women's tag match stunk though.

erickman 02-19-2021 09:00 PM

this segment will be bad

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 09:04 PM

Did someone forget to finish sowing that shirt Bayley is wearing?

That popped up turtleneck makes no sense with how the rest of her shirt looks.

erickman 02-19-2021 09:07 PM

will we get a my hole in this match

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 09:09 PM

That Bayley's talk show segment easily is a strong contender for worst WWE segment of the year.

Also worst segment on SD since either the Jeff Hardy piss test segment with Sheamus or Corbin & Pals attacking Roman Reigns with dog food.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 09:17 PM

 at Reginald beating Nia Jax in a tag match via Nia being too fat to kick out.

Reginald being a face during that match and Bayley's talk show was weird. Wouldn't be surprised at all if his sudden friendship with Banks really is meant to be a face turn and not some sneaky swerve.

Azriel 02-19-2021 09:24 PM

Are they setting up an Edge heel turn or something. Reginald's being super creepy, but Sasha being as fine as she is, I can sort of understand

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 09:25 PM

:| Mysterios vs. Gable & Otis ending via DQ.

Also :| at Otis turning heel.

Tonight's show has sucked a lot so far.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 09:35 PM

OMG they really are teasing a face turn for Reginald based on that segment with Carmella.

Emperor Smeat 02-19-2021 10:05 PM

Corbin, Uso, & Zayn vs. Bryan, Cesaro, & Owens was very good.

 at WWE production crew screwing up the post-match surprise attack spot by Corbin since they didn't cut to the match replay quick enough. Even commentary ruined the surprise by mentioning Corbin when they shouldn't have.

As a regular show, this week's SD was mostly meh but as a go-home show it mostly stunk. Only thing I'd recommend would be the main event 6-man tag.

First time in a long while where RAW was actually the better show of the two for the week.

Azriel 02-19-2021 10:36 PM

Agreed, RAW was slightly better than Smackdown, but this wasn't a very good week for lead ups to a PPV. Also, they seriously need to work on the sound. I thought they made the audience reactions a bit too loud

Accomplishing such a feat will be much easier said than done, however, as they’ll tangle with Mansoor and Curt Stallion, who were each part of the quartet that dealt “Bolly-Rise” a loss in last week’s Eight-Man Tag Team Match.

Mansoor enters tonight’s bout with his undefeated record intact, while Stallion came within an eyelash of winning the NXT Cruiserweight Champion from Santos Escobar and also scored the winning pinfall last week against “Bolly-Rise.”

August Grey had a rough night on last week’s 205 Live, as he caught a pre-match beatdown in the backstage area when Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari suddenly ambushed him during an interview. And right when Grey appeared to be closing in on a victory against Daivari Dinero later that evening, The Premier Athlete interfered to tee up his comrade for a controversial win.

Can The Life of the Party somehow overcome the odds this week?

erickman 02-26-2021 08:01 PM

heel time with roman

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:21 PM

Reigns & Pals and Daniel Bryan promo segment was pretty good.

Not sure why Reigns has an issue with Edge challenging him for his belt at Mania since he kept goading him into making that decision beforehand.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:26 PM

So what was the purpose of the Blue Brand Elimination Chamber match if Bryan can quickly get another title shot before Edge?

WWE really should get rid of having PPVs in between Rumble & Mania since it just leads to them becoming more and more lazy for Mania's build over the years.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:32 PM

Mysterios vs. Gable & Otis was pretty good.

Not sure I'm going to get used to Evil Otis since he was one of the few genuine lovable and interesting face wrestlers WWE had on the main roster, especially on the younger or new star side.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:38 PM

 Apollo really is doing a Nigerian royalty gimmick now.

 they gave him an evil foreigner accent as well.

It sounds ridiculous but Apollo probably could pull off the rich aristocrat/upper class gimmick better than Alberto Del Rio did in WWE.

erickman 02-26-2021 08:38 PM

uh oh cruz is a prince from africa now who wants to give you money

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:50 PM

Crews vs. Nakamura was pretty good.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 08:56 PM

Did the spirit of Lana suddenly possess Natty?

She looks a lot different tonight.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 09:13 PM

Bianca vs. Banks for the SD Women's title at Mania got confirmed.

Asuka can kiss her belt goodbye since its about to be the property of Charlotte very soon.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 09:28 PM

Holy shit at the air Montez Ford got from that sunset flip over Sami onto Corbin.

Street Profits vs. Corbin & Sami was decent but that spot by Ford was easily the highlight of the whole match.

erickman 02-26-2021 09:32 PM

yeah that is a contender for jump of the year.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 09:40 PM

 at Rollins screaming while being swung around by Cesaro.

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2021 10:02 PM

:| at Bryan vs. Jey Uso ending via double countout. Match itself was very good despite that buzz kill ending.

WWE can't go a week without doing a screwy finish or two for their main shows.

Guess Roman Reigns is getting the night off at Fastlane.

This week's show was very enjoyable overall. Haven't seen all of this week's NXT's show yet but currently leaning towards SD over NXT for which WWE show I enjoyed the most this week.

Volare 02-26-2021 10:42 PM
