Kinda weird to do brand warfare when a lot of people changed brands like a month ago.

Definitely the number of pages is what matters, not the 1.6 million paid Network Subscribers, which is only 1.5 million more than the number of people who bought Full Gear, so clearly... AEW WINS AGAIN WAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Only vaguely interested in this to see what Undertakers role is. Probably a highlights package and an appearance where he Tombstones someone and that's yer lot.

I'm predicting that Dolph Ziggler comes out and interrupts the Taker ceremony and challenges him to a match. Taker squashes him in 2 minutes.

I thought about this a lot. Dolph was one of the only people that made sense. Someone who's momentum wouldnt be squashed. Who's a heel. Who can sell like hell for Taker. Who's light enough for Taker to throw around. And who doesnt have any ring rust.

Roman has come a long way since that disastrous contract signing segment with John Cena. I loved how he proclaimed himself as the champion of WWE and Drew as second although he has the more prestigious title.

Oh yeah. This is on tonight.

Only interested in Drew vs. Reigns and Asuka vs. Sasha out of tonight's card but WWE did a piss poor job building up all of the feuds for Survivor Series.

NXT not being included hurt a lot of the interest in this year's show but that's NXT's fault for constantly being the morons with the coronavirus.

That might have been one of the most meh battle royals in WWE history.

Didn't help it included the very played out fake elimination spot that WWE does in almost every Rumble and/or Battle Royals these days.

:| Keith Lee's new heme being a generic rap/hip-hop style theme.

On one hand, at least it sounded better than the one he had before but on the other hand, still doesn't match the greatness of his original "Limitless" theme.

The fact that they use the same battle royal finish over and over again surely has to be a Vince mandate. He probably thinks it makes for a genuine surprise despite everybody expecting it at this point.

Going to laugh if Team SD Men get swept in this match.

Booking-wise, makes no sense for Team RAW to be this cohesive and having the dominate upper hand over the Blue Brand.

Match itself was pretty good but holy hell at how dumb some of the booking for it was.

New Day vs. Steer Profits was pretty good although could have been a few minutes shorter since it dragged at times.

3 matches in counting the pre-show and not really feeling that into Survivor Series so far.

If Shelton could do a convincing squint he'd look like a smaller version of Zeus.

Sami vs. Lashley somehow managed to be worse than the Battle Royal for dullest match of the show so far.

Don't have any confidence in the Women's Survivor Series match being any good so all down to Asuka vs. Bayley and Drew vs. Reigns to bring any real quality or excitement to this show.

I'm starting to think we the fans are the ones that need to survive.

Asuka vs. Sasha was very good overall.

Ending it via a roll-up was a bit anti-climatic though considering the announcers kept hyping up how Sasha has never beaten Asuka clean in a match before.

Asuka Sasha was good but nowhere near the level of their summer matches

Yikes at that kick by Baszler right square on Ruby's neck.

Think she either meant to hit the shoulder or was supposed to throw a lighter kick but went almost full force instead.

Also ouch at Bayley landing right onto the floor from that suplex to the outside by Peyton. Barely got her fall braced by the group of women on the outside.

Also wouldn't be a Women's Survivor Series match without WWE's patented quick eliminations routine. 3 gone within a matter of a minute or two.

That Women's Survivor Series match fell off a cliff hard once the first elimination happened. I don't think a single person involved in that match actually came out looking good in the end.

Outside of Asuka vs. Sasha, Survivor Series has mostly sucked tonight with 1 match left.

This booking is fucking horrendous. It's like they're booking a comedy show or something. Are the writers even taking this shit seriously? Do they know that Survivor Series is a big 4 PPV? Does anyone in WWE care anymore? What time does AEW come on?

Taking forever over the entrance, must have been told to slow it down to pad out the time.

Be cool if John Cena ran in and pinned both of them and became champions of both belts and beat Flair's record

No chance this doesnt Main Even ends with a pin.

Why book the match as a Main Event of a huge PPV when you know it wont end in a pin.

Probably not considering years ago WWE wanted to axe this PPV from their calendar because they couldn't book it well or interesting anymore.

Only reason they didn't is due to its special status as a Big 4 PPV.

Brand Split Era being back again just made them become even more lazier with its booking and handling. Like last year the whole purpose of SS was to shamelessly prop up NXT since it was struggling against AEW and they quickly blew all the huge momentum NXT gained within a little over a month afterwards.

This entire organization is a huge headache to me.

No way was this match ending clean and WWE proved that to be the case.

Depending on how long this Taker retirement ceremony lasts, Survivor Series might end up being the longest PPV of the coronavirus era for WWE. Before the last PPV or two, WWE was keeping them in a solid 2 hour and 30 minute range.

That Paul Bearer spot was really cool.

If it wasn't for this retirement ceremony and the Asuka vs. Banks and Drew vs. Reigns match, Survivor Series would have easily gone down as one of the worst ever PPVs in recent times. As is, it was mostly average at best and way below last year's show for quality.

2 pages for a PPV. Weak as shit.

That honestly sucked without a live crowd. If that was all it was suppose to be, why not wait until you can have a crowd for this? The pipped in stuff was lame.

Honestly, him riding off on his motorcycle after beating AJ was the perfect send-off for the character.

WWE is so damn bad. I wish they would go outta business.

He’ll be Hall of Fame bound before long, the only question is when. The class of 2020 hasn’t been able to be enshrined and presumably will at WM37...but if for whatever reason they can’t have fans it might get pushed again.

Maybe the class of 2021 goes in Summerslam weekend, or they just skip a year.

Owen Hart had a better send off than whatever that trash was.

This was the first WWE event I watched from beginning to end and it wasn't terrible, I didn't think.


Maybe it's because I've been away from it for a long while, but it was watchable. The RAW v SD opener was even pretty good, better than it looked like it would have been on paper, for sure. Stupid that it was all fed into the Reigns thing tho.


We all knew there would be fuckery in some form with the Roman v Drew match, but even with that, it was a good show. Still feel like Reigns needs a new theme to complete the "change", he still seems stale, he's just a stale asshole now.


Do we count Lana's table streak being broken since she was "in a match" or is that RAW only? :)




I was always a huge Undertaker mark as a kid. While the whole FarewellTaker thing was cool, wtf was going on with it?! You have 15 or so guys get in the ring for nothing? Cool video package though. Understand why he "Kayfabed" his speech, but his entrance was longer than his talk time, it felt like.

Took me a minute to figure out that was Mideon coming out with Henry Godwinn, totally bald and much thinner.

That whole ending sequence was just odd...

Get a load of people in the ring, then Kane comes out in full gear, Shane looks like he's asking him wtf, then it goes to black and a video package. The ring is then emptied and an aging Vince is standing there waffling, then he vanishes and taker finally appears. :wtf:

Only thing i liked was the image of Paul Bearer in the ring, besides that the entire segment was really odd like they were just winging it. It really needed a live audience, could they not have waited?

Might as well be a farewell WWE segment. Everyone that was over looking old and frail and the last one of them finally hanging it up about 5 years too late. WWE has been terminal for a while, but looking at the last few big PPV cards, it really brings it home how poorly they transitioned from the guys in the ring tonight to the current generation.

Not a star among them and so little to care about. The gong might as well be sounding for the company.

It's easy to keep the reply count down when 5 people don't profess their love for every single thing that happens on the show no matter what though, right? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

The way they were kayfabing it, I really thought that was going to happen.

A part of me was hoping that The Fiend would have interrupted Undertaker's retirement ceremony which would have set up a match at the next Wrestlemania, but I definitely understand why it didn't go down this way.
