Who's Fergal Devitt?
 

WWE.com is mentioning him as the hottest "free agent" today, now being signed for NXT.

They're making him sound like he's this big name on the independents (something in itself I never really saw WWE do before), but honestly never heard of him before. Is he really a big deal on the indies or something?

I didn't realize his real name was Fergal. I didn't think the nxt name generator could be so cruel.

he's more commonly known as Prince Devitt.

I just hope they let him keep the crazy body paint, and just let him be a generic monster of some sort.

Fergal is actually his real name, according to wikipedia.

i cant link it on my work computer.. but youtube a match between devitt and PAC. it was what got PAC (aka Neville) noticed by the WWE. Absolutely great match. Devitt is another big signing that hopefully amounts to big things

Dexter Donovan being his NXT name would not surprise me. I've heard great things, but I haven't seen a match. CSL suggested he wouldn't be surprised if the WWE hired him. CSL knows his shit.

I guess he's sort of an Irish Daniel Bryan who has elements of Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio as presentation perks.

With The Judgment Day scouting a new member, they should really bring in a guy named Rusty Daggers to tie this TPWW lore together. They can reveal Daggers to be the one Carlito really hired to take out Cena back in 2004.

I’ve really turned a corner on Kevin Owens. I went through a period of really not giving a shit about him — probably circa 2017-2021. I can’t remember when he turned it around exactly, but things just work a lot tighter for him now.

He looks to be in tremendous shape for himself. And I’d say his work has gotten more psychologically sound too. He still does crazy stuff, but his matches just feel more believable as fights to me.

Balor has certainly done alright for himself. A real decade of destruction for Ferocious Fergal.

When Judgment Day does split up, they should kick him out because of his name and rebrand “No Fergals” in the style of No Mercy. Then they add a new wrestler named Fergal and point out that they are allowed to have one.
