1. This is the only legitimate gripe you have. That Pandora's Box was already opened, there was no need to try and close it again.
2. ECW didn't have pads, either.

Ladies and gentlemen, i'm afraid i've got some GOOD news.
This happened to me today:

SPOILER: show
http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x...01167f268d.jpg

BNB's doing media and appearances in India to pump up WWE's renewal of its TV deal with broadcaster TEN Sports.

The news: India can expect LIVE Raw, as well as an edited, localized (read: translated in local languages) version of Raw by January 2015. There's a tour in the works as well for March / April (Yay!). And, talks have begun on getting the network here.

The Good News: Shot a segment with BNB for the lifestyle capsule i produce for CNBC-TV18. Will upload the video by Monday. While BNB towered over me, and had an electric charisma about him, i was really impressed by how easy he was to work with. Took his cues, didn't fuss, knew how to conduct himself, and nailed the shoot. These guys are well trained for on-camera stuff.

Both Kendall Skye and Troy McLain have been released by WWE, according to PWInsider.com.
Cena was the one who scouted and personally recommended the WWE to sign McLain at the time.

There are rumors of Fergal Devitt forming a tag team with Sami Zayn as a way to introduce Devitt to NXT TV. It's also been speculated, based on photos posted to social media and them training together, that Devitt may form a tag team with Kevin Steen.

While Sami Zayn has been performing as Adam Rose's Bunny recently, Justin Gabriel has also played the rabbit in the past few weeks.

Meanwhile, there has been talk in the WWE of having the Bunny wrestle a match on the "Kickoff Show" for WWE Night of Champions this Sunday.

Just a little over two months after retiring from WWE, former WWE Superstar Santino Marella is making plans for a comeback after undergoing neck surgery recently. He posted the following on Facebook today:

"Surgery went well, there were some unexpected broken bones in my neck apparently but everything is looking good now, let the legendary comeback begin! 6 months till I get to do what I was born to do again, perform in front of the wwe universe"

Regarding WWE changing KENTA’s name to Hideo Itami at the NXT Takeover event last week, Triple H did not want the name change but Vince McMahon was adamant that they would give KENTA a new name. Triple H felt that it would hurt WWE’s ability to use KENTA with their expansion in Japan.

WWE has been “cold” in Japan in recent years and Triple H has been hoping that Hideo can provide a boost in that region. Triple H also didn’t want Japanese fans to feel WWE was being disrespectful by changing the name.

Regarding Kenta’s name being changed to Hideo Itami, apparently Hideo comes from former MLB pitcher Hideo Nomo and Itami has to do with Naruto Manga anime.

I thought his name was chosen because in Japan, the name Hideo means "excellent man" and Itami is Japanese for "pain".

That was also another rumor regarding his name but also a possible problem since he wouldn't be honoring anyone specific like he hinted.

The only reason Mr. Pogo ever had any kind of recognition was because Onita knew how to lead him through the matches and build properly to the gore. By himself, he's fucking terrible.

whiteyford 09-20-2014 04:54 AM

I liked the Big Japan match, I'm sure it was them, where there was a scaffold, maybe 5 feet high with the base wrapped in barbwire and I think a cactus or two but after 10-15 mins something exploded and thumbtacks rained down on the ring. It was like the kennel from hell match in that it sounded kinda cool on paper but in reality meh.

Here's a trick I think WWE are missing re: House shows.

The house shows present a number of matches back-to-back, sometimes relating to what is happening on TV, often not. None of these matches have any setup. And, honestly, it gets pretty monotonous.

The crowd at these shows probably expects something similar to what they see on Raw; a mixture of promos and action. So why not use these shows to give the guys who are less comfortable on the mic an opportunity to practice?

If they think a guy like Ziggler or Swagger struggles with his promos, let him go out there night in, night out and cut a promo. Not only does it give these guys practice, it breaks up the action a bit and gives the crowd something closer to what they see on TV.

Chosen One Drew was a few years ago. The show I went to in May, I can't recall a single promo.

I was such a Goldberg mark back in the day, every Nitro, every RAW. My friend and I would watch Nitro/Thunder live and his big brother would tape RAW for us. Fuckin' 90's man

My dad and I were both huge Goldberg marks during his WCW run and loved watching him destroy everyone. Even now my dad still talks about Goldberg. It was one of my favourite times watching wrestling, with my dad.

I meant every Thunder instead of RAW, I was deployed during his 2003 run, how did everyone take to that?

He shot himself in the foot by taking time off to shoot the Oscar worthy Santas Slay, he was only signed for a year but only really got showcased like the WCW version in the chamber match, can't really blame them for investing so little in a guy who is only realistically there 10months.

I didn't realise Owen Hart wrestled in WCW, just thought I'd share.

In honor of Dean Ambrose coming out of a Roman Reigns costume tonight, here's a very special edition of your daily KICKOUT AT TWO:

What was the reasoning supposed to be behind Goldberg walking with all that security all the time.... was it supposed to be that he was an uncontrollable monster who had to be contained in his locker room and then escorted to the ring lest he get loose and go on a rampage? Or is it just that he was just constantly worried about attackers?

It's how boxing introductions are done coming with an entourage. Probably done just to be different/build suspense.
