Bad News Gertner 12-23-2017 11:55 PM

She was Big Show's "special friend"

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:11 AM

Paul Heyman was with Heidenreich? I must have missed a lot of this. I think I only watched Raw for some reason then.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:11 AM

Kenzo vs. Cena in a battle rap? I might fuck around and watch this whole year.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:12 AM

I kinda miss Carlito, I think.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:13 AM

CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION FUNAKI!!!!!!!

Damn, this episode really has it all.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:27 AM

Holy fuck, Amy Weber is hot too.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:31 AM

Kurt Angle was boss here too. There's no fucking way Raw was better at this time.

OH SHIT, DANIEL PUDER

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:32 AM

Puder's mic skills were absolutely terrible. Love it.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:33 AM

RUCK FULES, spinning US title era, in case anyone was wondering.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:35 AM

"Basic Thuganomics" was a fucking great theme.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:40 AM

Cena was ruthless with the battle rap. I almost forgot how much I used to love him. And now I still do, the more I think about it.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:46 AM

Rob Van Dam v. Doug Basham.

This is the best Smackdown of all time.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:55 AM

I don't think Amy Weber is in that shower, Kurt. Put your clothes back on.

I'm seriously loving this episode. Kurt just rubbed his nipples.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:57 AM

Hahahahahahaha

Seriously, Kurt Angle was the best. Do yourselves a favor and watch the first Smackdown of 2005. Absolutely incredible.

But it has RVD on it, so that can't be true.

:shifty:

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 12:58 AM

Big Show was fat as fuck.

You're insane. Look no further than One Night Stand v. Cena to know that he's CAPABLE of it.

If Cena is still on the show, then its later in the year when Smackdown starts to nose dive in quality. Also within a year or two later where all of WWE starts to get really terrible.

They managed to rebound very well from the Smackdown Six era but once Cena moves to RAW, WWE starts to really neglect Smackdown over time.

It was always Salt & Vinegar but the shop ran out of them (probably because I bought them all) so I had to settle for Hot & Spicy after that.

Addiction is a disease. A delicious Pringle flavored disease.

I just think that it's really cool that we can go back and watch it any time we want. The Network truly is the dopest shit a wrestling fan could ever hope for.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:20 AM

except for the music issues which are lame

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 01:22 AM

So the fuck what?

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 01:22 AM

Most of the music is intact.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 01:22 AM

I'm watching another Smackdown. I'm kinda into this. Why the fuck would Big Show need a "special friend"?

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:24 AM

Currently watching a strange collection of Christmas matches hosted by Mick and Noelle. Not enough Noelle in it.

Anybody Thrilla 12-24-2017 01:24 AM

Rey Mysterio and the 619 cam. Teaming with Rob Van Dam. I hardly remember any of this.

Fignuts 12-24-2017 01:25 AM

I don't think I've ever had a quicker turn around on anyone, like I have on The Usos. No one bored me more than the Usos when they were faces. They killed my hype for the show dead whenever they came out.

When they turned heel they showed soooooooooo much more personality and charisma, and their theme was 100 times better. And I feel like being able to show more character has motivated them in the ring, because almost all of their matches since turning have been LIT.

Hope they never turn them full face again, because that could mean the return of boring focus group tested face Usos. Keep them the tweeners they are now at most.

Has there ever been a good "Christmas match"?

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:25 AM

Currently watching Randy Orton \_o__/ facing David Otunga in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. It's during Michael Cole is a heel announcer. :y:

Seems like Eddie will be turning on Rey soon.

Yeup. Netflix being really successful with their streaming model gave the push needed for WWE and other wrestling companies to open up their libraries a lot more than before.

Before the Network, WWE had their 24/7 service but was way smaller in scope and content.

Fignuts 12-24-2017 01:26 AM

Jinder Mahal is basically WWE 2k games.

Absolutely incredible presentation, but the mechanics are stale and broken.

Evil Vito 12-24-2017 01:27 AM

SmackDown was the shit in the mid-2000s

I definitely remember that match. Otunga got beat the fuck up.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:29 AM

OMG HUNICO!

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:30 AM

QFT

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-24-2017 01:30 AM

Tyler Reks also in this Christmas Wish Battle Royal. Winner gets to ask Santa for something. I bet Hunico wins and asks to be Sin Cara.
