I'm looking forward to SmackDown tonight when the Raw guys go undercover by wearing Halloween masks and attack the SmackDown guys.

RP 10-31-2017 05:38 PM

I really hope Braun is at Smackdown

This guy does some pretty good theme remixes.

Kinda bummed out that Anthem has let go everyone at Live Audio Wrestling. Their podcasts were some of the best.

Lock Jaw 10-31-2017 10:08 PM

When I was a youth I would sometimes turn on Live Audio Wrestling on the radio as I was going to sleep......

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-31-2017 10:48 PM

LAW turned me into the wonderful smark bastard I am today. Started listening when it was Big Daddy Donnie Abreu and Gentleman Jeff Marek back in 1999.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-31-2017 10:49 PM

Agnew was a lowly producer in those days. They were on local late night radio on sundays I believe.

Mr. Nerfect 11-01-2017 12:28 AM

A real shock that the LAW is gone.

GD 11-01-2017 12:35 AM

Kinda glad that John and Wai posted a new review for this week's Monday Night RAW.

Mr. Nerfect 11-01-2017 12:44 AM

I think they will land on their feet just fine. I'm sure MLW Radio will give them a show or something.

GD 11-01-2017 12:46 AM

I hope so. John Pollock is a plethora of knowledge as far as professional wrestling and MMA are concerned. The dude's work ethic is second to none. Maybe Meltzer.

Mr. Nerfect 11-01-2017 01:33 AM

I really like the effort Pollock puts in. Seems like a genuinely cool dude too.

Lock Jaw 11-01-2017 01:39 AM

Pollock sheep;;;;;;;;;;;

GD 11-01-2017 04:14 AM

Wow! This is very intense.

According to the WWE, Scotland voted to leave the UK (Glasgow) but not really (Aberdeen).

Remember when WWE debuted Fandango with a vignette that spelled out his name with an extra "O"? I feel like WWE's quality control is not exactly top notch. Their haphazard ways aren't limited to the booking.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2017 06:14 PM

Remember that episode of Raw where they were promoting that The Undertaker was going to eviscerate CM Punk later that night until someone backstage picked up a dictionary and they changed the wording halfway through the show?

XL 11-01-2017 06:22 PM

“Verbally eviscerate” I believe.

lol That's right. I remember Cole eventually stressing the point that it would be a VERBAL evisceration.

House show with a substitution because Roman is still sick.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2017 06:39 PM

I don't know what's more egregious. That or that video of Triple H dancing with New Day and then hitting Kofi with a pedegree to try to look like a badass who plays by his own rules. Pretty sure the guy seriously thinks he's Austin/Rock level.

He's whatever the hell he wants to be as he books that shit.

But since house shows are non-canon, he literally can show up in any role.

Ol Dirty Dastard 11-01-2017 06:43 PM

Fuck triple h

Sixx 11-01-2017 06:47 PM

Wow, he's a fucking moron.

He should get a blackface and join The New Day next.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2017 07:01 PM

You can tell he's really trying to come off as "cool" in these situations and it's just... awkward.

Sixx 11-01-2017 07:03 PM

Midlife crisis, eh?

Sixx 11-01-2017 07:04 PM

Does he have a Harley yet?

Holy shit, why was the Pedigree necessary?

Of course he thinks he's on the level of a Rock/Austin. That's always been the company narrative too. Go back to 1999 and watch how they de-emphasize Rock for Triple H despite H showing nothing.

Biggest myth the WWE tells about the Attitude era was that Triple H was over or important. Great stuff against Cactus Jack in 2000, and that was a hot year, but Fully Loaded drew as well as Judgment Day. I think the only time Triple H has ever made a difference to figures was when he returned in 2002 and the TV rating popped and the Rumble did a huge buyrate, and then everyone worked out that Triple H has no fucking babyface charisma and tuned out again.

This dude's ego has gotten him a long way, and he clearly cares a lot about the wrestling industry. Not enough to take himself out of it though. I cringe whenever he crawls up the asshole of the fans as some sort of savor or developmental savant, when the guys he's hiring are the guys he would have called geeks a few years ago, until he needs them to make it looks like he can teach students how to get good grades.

Every year we have to get ready for the inevitable Triple H match, because that's what people are really craving. That's why WrestleMania 23 did such a shockingly low buy-rate. Which babyface gets to look like a million bucks by beating Triple H this year? Daniel Bryan? Well, he opened Mania the next year. Sting? Well, he gets to job. Seth Rollins? Tag division. I guarantee you Triple H's match is more important than Seth Rollins' next year. That's how much beating Triple H means. Welcome to the fucking opener. And WrestleMania 32 -- don't tell me that Triple H winning his second Royal Rumble and heading into that show wasn't about him headlining the biggest show they've ever done.

Now he gets to play babyface dress-up with his NXT boys. Cute. Fuck off.

Did Seth at least give him a dirty look or confused face at first considering what happened the last time those two were together?

Mr. Nerfect 11-01-2017 08:16 PM

Apparently Seth cut a promo about making a call he never thought he'd need to make, and that you should always have a "Plan B."
