Apparently Shane McMahon is currently dealing with some legal issues related to a failed weed company investment he made two years ago.

Anyone who watches Ring of Honor on here, your thoughts on Flip Gordon and Dalton Castle.

Dalton Castle is pretty good, from what I've seen, but he's basically Chad Gable with a Rico gimmick. You just know how they would fuck that up.

Guess WWE doesn't like money and current Network numbers must be terrible if they are giving this as a free offer now:

Flip Gordon seems like the worst parts of "stereotypical indy" CAW (entirely too much "flippy shit" and wearing kickpads to boot). It's like Jack Evans in both his and Eminem's prime had a baby with John Cena right after filming "The Marine". His theme is gawdawful as well. It *kinda* works, given there aren't a boatload of guys that wrestle like that in ROH anymore, but it's still kinda bleh. |

Also, holy shit. How many times has New Day vs The Usos happened already? Are they really still feuding???

Seems WWE is starting to go after more indie wrestlers and their shirt sales. Recently sent a cease and desist order to Will Ospreay for two of his shirts that parody WWE stuff.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-cards="hidden" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Well Young Bucks ain't the only one that's been hit with a Cease & Desist. If you asked me who was the owner and who was the wrestler in that top billed match, I would probably say Shane was the wrestler. He's probably the biggest star on the SmackDown roster. Well, it'd be between him and Orton, who doesn't appear to be on this show. |
And Daniel Bryan is still one of the most over dudes when he shows up.
|
Orton is probably facing Rusev on the undercard.
Usos and The New Day will probably light it up and have a great match. Natalya vs Charlotte could be good. In fact it could be very good, as their match in NXT was the first time I turned around and started paying attention to the women. But like Becky, her work on the main roster hasn't even come close to equaling her work in NXT. So who knows how that's gonna go. |
Yeah, Bryan is really over. I'm sure the matches will be "good." It's just really hard to give a fuck, because how are they going to be followed up? What are the stakes?

Barely recognised Stephanie in this, looked a bit rounder in the face for some of the video. |

The problem burning this stuff out is that once they break, the idea of them facing off again doesn't have appeal for a long time. It works in the context of a program, because if you've been watching it, then it is enjoyable, but when the idea is teased two years from now, it will feel like "didn't they just do this?" The New Day vs. Gallows & Anderson is a great example of that. They played that out so much that when people are like "Move Gallows & Anderson to SmackDown," my first thought is "God no."
|
I think it would be better if they more often cut things short and separated certain talent by a wider margin, in order to preserve certain things that just work. It's hard to know what is going to be what on that front, but after HIAC I would definitely consider moving The Usos to RAW or something.
|
They're already scheduled for another match against each other at that Starrcade show. lol

Great Playboy Buddy Rose story.
So in the Portland territory in the 80's Brickhouse Brown was the drug supplier for all the guys in the territory. One night at Buddy Rose's apartment, there was another dealer doing Coke with Col DeBeers, and Buddy Rose much to Brickhouse's surprise. Well the Coke dealer ends up having a major heart issue from too much Coke and collapses on the floor. Buddy Rose tells him " you tell me where your Coke stash is and I'll call 911". The guy told him where his stash was and Rose called 911 lol |
Oh wow, just read about that Warrior cancer charity thing. Let's not forget about what Warrior said about Bobby Heenan when he heard Heenan had cancer.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DLQceZeXkAAYMti.jpg:large It's hilarious watching WWE try and push Warrior as this fucking saint. |
Damn, he must have really hated this Booby Heenan guy.
|
Didn't Warrior hate virtually everyone?

Da Meltz on why AJ Styles has only been working dark matches instead of wrestling on TV:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Working every night. Saved for dark matches a lot on Tuesday to make sure crowd doesn't leave during 205 Live. <a href="https://t.co/kOnCDL3NZs">https://t.co/kOnCDL3NZs</a></p>— Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) <a href="https://twitter.com/davemeltzerWON/status/915396533427638272?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 4, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> lol |
And if you wondered why WWE would give the Network away for free for 3 months, this is a good reason: To help speculative growth. Raw numbers of the Network YTD and international deals have helped WWEs stock price in a large way.
