Why does Prichard go so squeaky for his Cornette impression? He gets a lot of it right, but it's easily one of his worst.

Artistic license I guess. He obviously knows it's not a good impression but it's what makes it so funny.

Yeah, I guess it's got a bit of Mickey Mouse in there, which might be some sort of allusion to Cornette's anti-gentrification of wrestling stance. Or just a reference to him being like a manic cartoon character. It makes sense, it just seems less "on-point" than his other ones.

Nah, WWECW started great. It went wrong when RVD and Sabu got busted so they put the belt on Big Show, then Heyman leaving after December to Dismember.

It went wrong when they insisted on having Big Show vs. Batista headline a show at Hammerstein, and were shocked that the ECW crowd shot on it.

There was a really good John Morrison v. Evan Bourne match at some point.

Angle could have really been the shit in ECW. So could Benoit. So many things went wrong that didn't have to.

I loved WWECW when it was just a place for guys not being used on Raw or SD to go and have fun storylines/matches.

Same thing during the period of time when NXT stopped being a competition show but before it became the developmental territory.

That new Angle persona was awesome. An actual "snap and turn into a badass submission machine" that made sense and was going to be awesome
