Wasn't that considered animal abuse or something?

What was that all about? What was so BROKEN? I never really cared, but it's 5am and I got shit to do.

Just Matt getting beaten up badly during a match and when he returned, he suddenly started to act a lot more stranger as if he was "broken."

Jeff got "broken" via a feud he had with Broken Matt leading to Jeff being "deleted" as a Hardy and becoming "Brother Nero." Just like Matt, he also started to act more stranger than usual.

At some point in the story, Matt suffered both from amnesia and got struck by lighting as a way to return him back to normal Matt Hardy.

Last big storyline for the Broken gimmick in Impact involved the Hardys preventing the end of the world by keeping the tag belts. Somehow they also gained teleportation powers when it came to them appearing in other promotions while still with Impact.

How were the TNA ratings back then? Just curious, cause I can't imagine people enjoying this shitstorm.

Destor 09-12-2017 12:40 AM

People liked it ironically

Sixx 09-12-2017 12:40 AM

Motherfucking hipsters.

Lock Jaw 09-12-2017 12:41 AM

The DELETE thing was because originally when Matt Hardy went BROKEN he was feuding with Jeff Hardy, who he called Brother Nero. Matt was saying that Jeff was shaming the Hardy name by being OBSOLETE or something and that Matt should be the sole legacy of the Hardy name, and that Brother Nero must be DELETED.

Brother Nero was then DELETED and Matt continued to use DELETE as a threat against other foes. Then Jeff Hardy somehow became BROKEN too and they were a team again.

Lock Jaw 09-12-2017 12:42 AM

A lot of posts appeared while I was writing that.....

Destor 09-12-2017 12:51 AM

Why are we not having a longer dialogue about bret harts rape scenerio

Was actually pretty good compared to their usual numbers. They had 3 big episodes based on the Broken and Deletion stuff with the first generating their highest numbers for the year and the most outside interest for the company.

Emperor Smeat 09-12-2017 12:55 AM

Also was a legit top act for Impact considering they've only had 3-4 weeks with better numbers than the final big Broken/Deletion episode since the Hardy's left.

Think it would be managable to fuck her in the ass while holding her in a Sharpshooter?

Says a lot about TNA fans.

She should just be a groupie.

You could replace "Lita" with most women wrestlers from but a few years before and nothing would be different.

Sixx 09-12-2017 02:21 AM

Maaan, now I want to be a wrestler when I grow up.

Sixx 09-12-2017 02:41 AM

I bet Bret Hart is the kinda guy that wears his shades while having sex.

Tom Guycott 09-12-2017 03:03 AM

So, Bret Hart takes after Corey Hart?

Sixx 09-12-2017 03:11 AM

Runs in the family.

Mr. Nerfect 09-12-2017 04:28 AM

Saying the ratings were better for TNA is being generous. There was some mild increase, but it's not like they created 500,000 or anything. Basically anyone who watched TNA was joined by a few people who didn't usually watch, but was going to check out the geek show.

What long-term benefit or growth did it offer TNA? None. Absolutely none. It left them in no better and no worse shape than before it had happened -- which was not great.

And yes, the kangaroo stuff would have surely upset some people if they had actually seen it.

Saw this on reddit and it's so weird, it's like Hogan parodying Hogan.

SPOILER: show
Lost it at the random guy riding his bike into a wall

Ol Dirty Dastard 09-12-2017 03:32 PM

When she doesnt give him his props he locks on a sleeper, thrrows her in a firemans carry, then ravages her in the bedroom.

Sixx 09-12-2017 03:39 PM

When ravaging shades are only optional. Noone can see him anyway.

Rene Dupree has been a professional wrestler for 20 years. He is only 33 years old.

Absolutely mental.

#1-norm-fan 09-12-2017 08:31 PM

You know another guy who has been away from WWE so long that it's weird how young he still is?

Colin Delaney. He's 31. Weird to think about.

#1-norm-fan 09-12-2017 08:39 PM

Also, Zach Gowen. He finished his WWE career 13 and a half years ago. Yet he's 6 years younger than Bobby Roode who just began his.

Evil Vito 09-12-2017 08:47 PM

Kenny Dykstra made his professional wrestling debut 16 years ago and he's only 31

The guy is also wearing a cowboy hat and is smoking a cigar.

Damn, this shit is writing itself.

Sixx 09-12-2017 09:06 PM

Or maybe a kid. Bret walks wearing shades, but sees this kid in the corner and puts his shades on him before proceeding into the "ring".
