was it for survivor series? I completely forget. Don't really remember televised singles matches bw the 2, tho it's a taylor-made feud of the times.

They had a confrontation at Wrestlemania fought each other in a 6 man at Summerslam, fought at Survivor Series and headlined a MSG show

Most WWF matches at that time were non-finishes. Whenever I go back and watch a match between two mid to upper card guys that I don't remember, I have no question it's gonna end with a countout or DQ. There were major feuds that would just end without a finish in the ring. lol

Roddy Piper, Duggan, and Bad News in particular.

The cry of Baby Mario was annoying as hell. Would have been better had it been officially called Yoshi's Island and not Super Mario World 2: Yoshi''s Island. A direct sequel is what we all wanted.

I also loved Psicosis theme.

Remember being psyched when he ditched the technicolor dream bodysuit for a new "badass" black and white attire.

Rumor going around the net regarding the next SuperStar Shakeup hints at it happening in around 3 weeks assuming Vince doesn't change his mind or plans.

One of the rumored names swapping brands:
SPOILER: show
Sami Zayn going back to RAW based on ads for upcoming RAW events

GD 08-27-2017 07:23 PM

I am not particularly fond of having these shakeups in such a short amount of time.

Mid-April.

The sheets hinted the WWE knew by May/June of how badly they screwed up with the handling of it and almost everyone who moved.

#1-norm-fan 08-27-2017 08:41 PM

I swear to God, WWE over the past 15 years or so has been the most unorganized mess of a professional company in the world. How do you flip flop on the direction you wanna go so much? lol

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-27-2017 08:44 PM

Well I mean your owner who is a notorious micro manager is a legit psychopath and only progressively getting more senile.

#1-norm-fan 08-27-2017 09:29 PM

Since 2001, WWE has used eight titles as a "world title". One company. Using eight different "world titles" over a 16 year span. That's one way to shit on the prestige of being world champion.

#1-norm-fan 08-27-2017 09:42 PM

So apparently that Sexy Star bitch who won the Lucha Underground title is a piece of shit...

I know that I'm days late for the topic, but this seems like an evergreen statement, because how much stock can you really put on that? Not calling Lana a liar or anything so harsh, but people deny shit all the time, especially on Twitter, then a week later, a day later, sometimes a few HOURS later, the original thing is revealed to be true, and they just wanted to be the one to break the news on their own terms.

Lock Jaw 08-27-2017 10:55 PM

I'm much more inclined to believe things from the source rather than via "internet rumours" and "rassling journalists".

Tom Guycott 08-27-2017 11:00 PM

True, but I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised or shocked if, in the near future, there is a "WWE has come to terms..." announcement on exactly the thing that was addressed.

Let me try to write them down

1. WWE Championship
2. WCW Championship (World Championship)
3. World Heavyweight Championship
4. ECW Championship (not sure if this counts)
5. Universal Championship

Are you considering the Undisputed Championship, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as separate entities? Or are you referring to the physical title that represents the world championship?

SPOILER: show

WWE Championship (since 2001)

1. Winged Eagle title.
2. Winged Eagle title and the "Big Gold" title.
3. Undisputed title.
4. Spinner title.
5. Non Spinner Spinner title.
6. Last title design with the old scratched logo.
7. Last title design with the old scratched logo and the "Big Gold" title.
8. WWE World Heavyweight title design with the modern logo.

World (WCW) Championship

1. "Big Gold" title

World Heavyweight Championship

1. "Big Gold" title.
2. Updated "Big Gold" title with WWE branding. (not going to include the leather updates)

ECW Championship

1. ECW World Heavyweight Wrestling title.
2. Phoenix title.

Universal Championship

1. Red strap and modern logo. (similar to the current WWE Championship design)

GD 08-28-2017 12:52 AM

Remember when #FireJBL was a thing and the Universal Championship design was heavily criticized?

You didn't hear about how she left AAA for boxing because she didn't want to drop the Mixed Tag titles she and Pentagon had? And because she said another female wrestler was shooting on her and bullying her?

Then when she came back and demanded that she got the Women's belt handed to her, so tey had to fuck over Taya by stripping her of the belt?

Yeah, Sexy is a real peach.

Fignuts 08-28-2017 01:31 AM

Yeah, Sexy Star being a cunt isn't some new revelation.

Mr. Nerfect 08-28-2017 03:10 AM

WWE Championship
WCW/World Championship
Undisputed Championship
WWE Championship
World Heavyweight Championship
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
WWE Championship
Universal Championship

I think that's what #1-wwf-fan means. But they also considered the ECW World Title an actual World Title until 2007 too.
