No way could TNA ever pay more than a Wrestlemania-Main-Event-Calibre wrestler.

And if I overheard of a pending screwjob, it'd make more sense to just walk in on them and ask what's going on.

These clauses would never be in any contract Vince draws up.

TNA, on the other hand...

Which is why I'm sure TNA contracts come written in crayon with a big smily face at the end

Tom Guycott 07-05-2012 06:18 AM

I would use the "screwing" information to publicly re-negotiate (read: blackball) my contract, and add in this stip:

WWE, because aspiring young wrestlers don't grow up dreaming of one day reaching the Minor Leagues.

MoFo 07-05-2012 01:50 PM

No Swish, I would rather carry on signing on and not being famous.

Scousetard.

K.Smoke 07-07-2012 11:10 AM

Probably Head to TNA to build Character more since it worked for Christian. I think a promotion jump would put me in the spotlight of TNA probably gain me a few championship mark up my worth and put me in a better situation with the WWE in the future. WWE is very unpredictable with talent. Better to go with the surer move. My ultimate goal would be
the WWE though.

Fox 07-07-2012 11:27 AM

WWE. No question. A Royal Rumble win and a World Title victory at Mania? That makes you "the man" these days.

If you went to TNA first, Vince would always and forevermore look at you as "a TNA guy" and put you through a world of shit when you did eventually come to his company. You would have to do the whole job to the stars for a year thing before ever getting a spot near the top, and even then, you would never be one of "Vince's boys" like Cena, Orton, Undertaker, Triple H and Michaels. You would always be a Booker T or a Tazz or a RVD to him - a main event player, but never "the man."

And if things didn't work out and you did get "screwed", you go to TNA and make good money for a smaller schedule. Then one day you go back to WWE to finish off your career.

What do you????.

$530,000 a month for 3 years, fuck yeah son.

Not sure where your 'logic' comes in here though, 3 years with a main event slot at 'Mania then screwed over. Or TNA, who would give their right nut to sign a WWE main eventer & 'Mania headliner and would no doubt pay ypu a ricockulous amount of money for the priviledge of working 3/4 dates a month....yeah pretty simple stuff here. :wtf:

KayfabeMan 07-07-2012 12:30 PM

Would not sign with WWE.

Would debate signing with TNA.

Money thing isn't an issue really - and the 'dream' of WWE is not the same place it was when I was a little kid, so for me it'd be more about work rate, enjoying my position, traveling and flexibility, etc. than about money / 'so-called WWE fame' or titles or anything like that.

This. I wouldn't trust TNA to make me a star, but a guaranteed Royal Rumble shot and then hearing "...and your newwwwwwww WWE champion... SCOTT ROBERTS" after the main event of Wrestlemania? Yes please! WWE is just a better company than TNA overall.

It did not work for Christian. He was stuck in ECW for a long time and then got the title because there was nobody left on Smackdown.

abec 07-07-2012 04:53 PM

You'd make WAY more money in WWE, merchandise if you had a title shot would be fucking ridiculous.

What you propsoed is similar to what was in Jericho's book, WCW offered him like $750k a year, WWE only $300k a year but with merchandise options. Nash and Hall both said they looked forward to that ( merchandise ) check more than anything else.

So why did they only ever do 1 commercial free Raw?.
Do you think Raw would do better as being commercial free,

Would they earn more money or less?

Yes but merchandising check's are only giving to popular guy's.

So you'd be starting out from the bottom, with a rumble win, and a
mania title shot, during the 3 years within WWE. at any given time...

Ruien 07-10-2012 08:10 PM

To be honest, I don't think I could handle the load. The chronic pain I'm in to begin with when I stand on my feet for long periods of time would cause a painkiller addiction, not to mention all the abuse.

If I were a manager, possibly. But managers have no place in WWE.

DLVH84 07-11-2012 06:17 PM

I'd say not until I have a good few years of experience under my belt (at least 4-5), paying my dues, touring the world (i.e. Canada, Mexico, Japan, Europe, Puerto Rico, etc.), learning different styles of pro wrestling (i.e. shoot, catch, lucha, hardcore, etc.).

And when I feel I am ready, that's when I'd go for it.

They should do one this year, they should make the 1k Raw a commercial free.

Mr. Nerfect 07-15-2012 12:03 AM

The 1000th RAW is the last RAW they should ever make commercial free.

Lock Jaw 07-15-2012 12:19 AM

Swish 07-15-2012 06:39 PM

Now that RAW is going to 3 hours, no way WWE does a commercial free show.

Swish 07-16-2012 02:01 PM

I said John Cena Will cash in at the 1K Raw and I was right.. :).

We heard recently from a top secret source, inside wwe.

That John Cena will cash in his MITB at the 1k episode of Raw
defeating CM PUNK!!. And revealing a new championship belt.

Stay tunned for more news.

Edit: My Predictions are more powerful than Ryan's xD

Big Vic 07-16-2012 02:04 PM

I'm thinking Ziggler will cash in on the 1000th raw, not Cena. I see Cena losing his cash in match.

Swish 07-16-2012 02:05 PM

It's only a rumor right now, wwe can change this last minute

Shisen Kopf 07-16-2012 02:58 PM

i heard that Ryback is going to beat ziggler and cena tonight and take both their money in the bank title shots. Then he will cash them both in on the 1000th Raw at the same time and beat Sheamus and Punk. He will then hold the belts for the next 15 years.

Xero 07-16-2012 03:01 PM

I believe CM Punk will lose the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

If WWE views this 1,000th RAW (and the change to 3 hours) as some sort of "new beginning" moving forward, they should have Ziggler cash in.

Think about it though, we haven't had a title change on a Raw
show in ages, the 1000th episode seems just the right time to make it happen.

He's obviously set to beat Punk, Doubt they'd want Punk

And plus from the looks of the new belt, i'd say it fits cena.

What happens when all the Old Timers Die?? [Royal Rumble Releated]

So yes when the old wwe stars die off eventually. What's going to happen with the Royal Rumble? surely they won't be able to host any more.. ??

Keith 07-17-2012 10:16 PM

Why?

Most of WWE's roster is young, and nothing has happened with the Royal Rumble.

As long as Triple H is in WWE, they'll honor tradition. Triple H understands the history of WWE and the business in general.

Mr. Pierre 07-17-2012 10:22 PM

I think you plant seeds for Taker/Lesnar at WM29.

I'd have to really think about the whole picture as to how it would play out, but in short, I'd have Lesnar destroy Taker to "send a message" to Triple H. As if to say "look what I did in 10 minutes that you couldn't do at two separate Manias."

It would have to be a very convincing beat down in order for it to kickoff a huge money making match for Mania. Lesnar can bust him open (ala the Extreme Rules "shoot style" on Cena in the very beginning of the match, but even more brutal), even tear up his classic jacket that he wears to the ring, break his arm, etc. I think it would be a very memorable and lasting image to see Taker get beat down that badly without any use of weapons.

It would be very effective in helping Lesnar get tons of heat back after a loss to Cena and a long absence.

Watching WWE Lately put's me to sleep

I can't seem to watch RAW anymore. or PPV's for that matter.
I'm at that age, were WWE feels shit, Ok fair enough they are trying
to get some old legends back, I'll give them credit..

But lately, they lack on storylines, wrestlers wanting to improve.
or make it. (just looking for fame). Sell Out's and much more.

I'd be more than happy if they brought back Vince Russo.
at least he made the attitude era. he was the one that started it all..

Yet he get's hated. Come on...

Vince doesn't have a clue how to run the company, he only knows
how to profit, and turn it to the children. That's were he get's his billions from.

The storylines, always seem to be repeats too. How many times
are we going to see, John Cena, win the title?. and loose it?,.

It's about time he passed the touch onto someone else. and retire.

CM PUNK: He's the guy that could break WWE, bring back the attitude era
Bring back fucking Nexus. Punk the stable killer.

As for the rest well, wake me up when WWE start's getting exciting.

Raw is turning 1,000. Huge accomplishment and they appear to have huge plans in order. Perhaps it is not the WWE. Perhaps it is your inability to be satisfied after years of watching the highs and lows. Maybe now is a good time for you to step away. Get off the internet. And lastly, after time, you may remember why you loved the sport...Or more than likely you will go away completely realizing it has ran it's course in your life.

James Steele 07-17-2012 11:15 PM

I imagine they will do like they did before 2002...just fill the Rumble with active wrestlers and maybe a celebrity. Until the 02 Rumble, there were never a bunch of "legends". The biggest prior to 02 might have been Vader's WWE debut. 2002 started this whole trend because it was so successful (they brought back Goldust, Mr. Perfect, Big Bossman, The Godfather, and Val Venis). They did that gimmick because of the rest of the card was loaded (McMahon vs Flair, Rock vs Jericho, Regal vs Edge, Dudleyz vs Spike/Tazz) and they needed to add some recognizable midcard talent to the match to keep it from just being about Taker/HHH/Angle/Big Show/Kane.

I grew up watching RAW, from 1995, onwards to the attitude era,
then finally giving up on it all together in 2007.

The invasion angle kept me glued, as I wanted to see how
it would end up panning out, but of course, WWE turned out victors.

Now when all the main guy's like Austin, Rock started leaving
due to injury's, and or making movies, that's when I began to loose interest.

I realized WWE would never be the same again.

Vince came up with the idea about targeting the younger generation
and used John Cena as the scape goat for that product. It was a huge succcess, so We get the blood, and tables taken away. and replaced with crappy PG versions of HELL IN A CELL, and FALLS COUNT ANYWERE MATCHS.

In my eyes though WWE has always brought in Kids as viewers,
if you go back far as the start like 1980 to Hulk Hogan, to the taped shows, you'll see how packed the arena's were filled with kidss supporting the likes of Undertaker. Now the arena's are filled with adults and just a small portion of children/teenagers. why? because it's an adult product, yet Vince seems to not realize this at all. he just cares about money money money.

Schlomey 07-17-2012 11:29 PM

Well without money there is no product. Please remember, it is hard for me to do so honestly, that WE are the minority and the majority loves poop jokes and dancing dinosaurs who don't do much else.

James Steele 07-17-2012 11:31 PM
