I doubt he would be the greatest IC Champion of all-time or anything, and there are certainly better things you could do with the belt, but Slater winning would be a fun little distraction, and the heel that beats him up and takes the belt is going to have more heat than if they beat Jason Jordan or whatever.

Yeah, it's always been a thought that's terrified me. And as a bodybuilder he had to be eating a ton in order to maintain his size, especially in-season. Probably loads and loads of chicken, broccoli, and rice and the like. And at a certain point I'd imagine you get bored of it and are just kinda "shoveling it in" quickly.

This looks recent. Those two work well together. Sin Cara is...it's just hard to care about him at this stage, but the dude has got something there. He's really strong for his size, and there are ways to bring that out. I dunno, I don't think he would have been huge or anything, but I just think his stature is way below where he could be.

Thought this was pretty interesting. Someone on r/SquaredCircle made a graph of WWE/World/Universal title defenses and the possible correlation to ratings for RAW.

Pretty much the more title defenses happened on RAW in a given year, the better the yearly ratings were while Triple H's Reign of Terror started the current trend of having a lot less title defenses on RAW. Also 2011/2012 being where RAW's trend downward was too much for title defenses to be a factor anymore.

I do miss the days where Triple H would defend his title on Raw or SmackDown! against the likes of Taka Michinoku and Rikishi while already having a scheduled title defense for a PPV. Really made it feel like anything could happen.

Very likely fake considering the source but rumor going around the net is both Rusev and Lana have requested their releases from the WWE. Rusev is rumored to be very unhappy with Creative and wants out.
