Fantastic.

Cool King 08-12-2017 03:35 PM

I'd actually like Corbin if that was actually his theme.

Emperor Smeat 08-12-2017 05:36 PM

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE doesn't want Jon Jones at ringside for SummerSlam. They don't want any media attention from SummerSlam to be about him nor want anything to distract from the Universal title match..

Jones and Lesnar have been teasing at a possible MMA match in the future with Jones going as far as saying he'd be interested in making an appearance for the WWE.

Fignuts 08-12-2017 07:54 PM

That is utterly retarded.

DAMN iNATOR 08-12-2017 09:24 PM

Testing out the new "dm" code for embedding DailyMotion videos:

Bad News Gertner 08-12-2017 10:58 PM

My favourite match of all time. Give it a shot. I guarantee you'll like it. And yes Captain Redneck Dick Murdoch is yelling at the black ring announcer Mel Phillips because he was taking his jacket.

Rammsteinmad 08-13-2017 03:33 AM

The worst thing about that Pete Dunne video is how he's taking a Pedigree onto a title belt and still kicking out at two. :nono:

Only way it makes sense is if they are thinking Brock is going to leave.

Watch it be just because they don't want to take the shine off a Roman win....

Seems insane to me for some reason that Rick Rude was only in the WWF for around 3 years.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 02:04 PM

because everything he did for the most part meant something so it seemed like he was integral part of wwf for a long time. Versus now where the landscape "changes" once a month.

screech 08-13-2017 02:29 PM

Is there a Rick Rude collection on the network? Feel like I should actually watch some of his stuff.

screech 08-13-2017 02:29 PM

Or what can youse recommend?

The first and only match I have seen of this Kenny Omega guy that everyone is pulling their penises over was a match where he was fighting a little girl.

(This is not an invitation to tell me matches to watch, or post matches to watch, because telling you now that I will not watch them)

#1-norm-fan 08-13-2017 05:07 PM

What?

Lock Jaw 08-13-2017 05:09 PM

Seemed pretty self explanatory.....

#1-norm-fan 08-13-2017 05:29 PM

Pretty sure the penis-pulling over the Omega vs Okada matches is rampant on the internet...

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 05:33 PM

I've seen a segment of the match v the little girl, it was pretty cool. It was also meant to be a private showing that got leaked.

Oh, ok. Sorry. Upon re-reading my post, I seem to have forgotten a few words. I will go edit it now to make sense.

Lock Jaw 08-13-2017 05:55 PM

To be clear:

The penis-pulling is over Kenny Omega in general.

The first and only match I have seen from him is him vs. a little girl.

I don't think I want to know what kind of a private showing that was........

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 06:01 PM

lol girl was a member of dojo/wrestling school or whatever, was a showing for parents and members of said dojo I believe.

Lock Jaw 08-13-2017 06:07 PM

Oh, ok. I was imagining a bunch of Japanese businessmen in suits.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 06:08 PM

I know what you were imagining you sick fuck. Probably an octopus involved for some reason

He's the only guy besides Savage that got good matches out of the Warrior. They wrestled at WM5, Summerslam 89 and Summerslam 90 (which was a cage match).

Hi work with Jake the Snake was great too. They wrestled at Saturday Night's Main Event on 10/25/88 and as part of the WMIV title tournament.

Also according to Meltz he wrestled Ricky Steamboat at Rumble 88 in a match that only earned 2 stars somehow.

He wrestled Flair, Steamboat, and Sting a bunch in WCW, but I havent seen those matches so I cant really testify to their quality.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 06:27 PM

His wwf matches with steamboat were all boring because methinks steamer kinda stopped trying with one foot out the door. Lots of extended armbars, headlocks, and chinlocks.

#1-norm-fan 08-13-2017 06:32 PM

His Iron Man match with Steamboat in WCW was one of my favorite matches as a kid.

screech 08-13-2017 06:59 PM

Thanks, dudes. Now I have a place to start

Bad News Gertner 08-13-2017 07:09 PM

Meltzer shit all over Rude when he first entered the WWF saying basically that he'd never amount to anything

Bad News Gertner 08-13-2017 07:09 PM

His WCW stuff is miles better than his WWF stuff, although I find Rude to be ridiculously over-rated

Emperor Smeat 08-13-2017 07:33 PM

Really liked the feud he had with Roberts in the WWF and might have been around the first or earliest memories I have of watching him.

Bad News Gertner 08-13-2017 07:53 PM

Their Wrestlemania 4 match was horrendous

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 08:54 PM

Most roberts mania matches stank

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-13-2017 09:40 PM

The crowd dug the Blindfold match even though it was fairly terrible.

Bad News Gertner 08-13-2017 10:32 PM

I loved the blindfold match

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 10:53 PM

it worked. Most of his matches at mania still stank though

Vastardikai 08-13-2017 11:30 PM

Here's a controversial take: Does a big match have to be "Good?"

Honestly, I think the answer is no. A match can be "bad" if the purpose of the match is to accomplish something. And, if anything, a "bad" match can easily make "Good" matches that much better. If all the matches are "Good," then none of them are. I think if the conclusion is satisfactory, that's all that's needed.

Side note: Rude really hit his stride in WCW. He was the top heel at various points, I'd argue that he was a bigger heel than Vader.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-13-2017 11:33 PM

a match is good if it works.

#1-norm-fan 08-13-2017 11:34 PM

If the match accomplishes its purpose well, I'd say it was a good match.
