The new Raw theme.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/eqvKHCK8NI0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Part of me is surprised that Raw got a new theme, considering it's not had/used an opening for about four months now. |
Still a shitty theme song.

Feel like WWE is dropping the ball by not giving Angle a job.
I totally get they're afraid of his past health issues, but he doesn't have to actually compete in the ring. Thought a great way of hyping the Cena/Lesnar rematch would be if Cena brought Angle in as his "coach", since Angle was Brock's greatest opponent. Right now the rematch doesn't make sense. Why is Cena getting it when he just got destroyed. If he faces him again and puts up a fight it wouldn't make sense. Not after getting beaten that bad. UNLESS, he had insight on all of Brock's weaknesses from the one guy who faced him enough times to know them. i.e. Kurt Angle. That's really the only way any of this makes sense to me. |
So I got a question for anyone who's watched the first episode of Monday Night Wars on the network. Does it lean toward "real" or "kayfab" more?

The term independent doesn't mean smaller than he wwe...or not the wwe.
It's a US term for small regional companies. Companies with no exclusive contracts with talent. Companies that don't tour. TNA is not an independent and to a degree neither is roh...and new japan and aaa certainly aren't, |

No. That's disgusting and very inappropriate for a wrestling website. I suggest you leave this thread and go rethink your life.

So I was at the local auction today, just checking to see if there were any "gems" going "under the hammer" tomorrow, and I came across a box and these guys were inside.
http://oi57.tinypic.com/16likv4.jpg The item description on the box says that everything inside it are bubble bath bottles, so I'm assuming these are bubble bath bottles too. I checked them out and Hulk Hogan is still full of the stuff, whereas Ultimate Warrior was lighter, so I'm assuming his stuff has been used. Does anyone know if they're rare at all? I would buy them, but they come with the rest of the box, which contains random bubble bath bottles, such as Simba, Goofy, Dennis The Menace (UK), Bart Simpson and so on, and they're expecting the box to go for £20/£30. I have no idea who would spend that much on bubble bath bottles, unless some of them, like those Hogan and Warrior ones, were a bit rare and collectable. |
I'd buy it not to sell, but to bathe in the WARRIOR bubbles and feel the essence of the WARRIOR spirit seep into my skin.
Also, love how my phone auto corrects WARRIOR to be all caps. |

Anyone remember that Steve Blackman reality show that was apparently filmed for the network? What's the latest on that?

RIP bitch who threw a glass at Steve Blackman. |
i don't think it was for the wwe network, but an actual show somewhere else

I want to see him in ring gear but he looks good for him and should only get one better shape with their plans, |
Is Steen really that 'fat', or is he just a 'solid' guy?
I probably need to search some stuff of his and watch it and find out myself I guess. I only ask as he doesn't look that 'fat' in the picture above. |
That might be my goal this week while Mikala is working, find some good Steen and Devitt(sp?) matches and check them out.
|
No hes fat
Like Chris Hero fat But he looks to have lost a ton |
He wrestles in a t shirt which is like swimming in one
look at him here, not huge but overweight, and he looks like he blew past this http://i.imgur.com/y401M.jpg |

Why do you keep listing Devitt as an "indie" guy when we keep telling you he isn't. The term is used for guys who spent the majority of their careers before WWE, touring the nation working for different regional indie companies.
Devitt has worked for NJPW for the majority of his career. Those other guys are most famous for their runs in ROH, but they worked in tons of other small feds across the country as well. And even though ROH may tow the line between indie and major promotion now, they were still an indie promotion when a lot of those guys worked for them. |

Hey, Gertner. Jesse Ventura did a shoot for RF Video. I saw a preview of it. Was wondering if you've seen it.
He's always fun to listen to based solely on how crazy he is. Seems like him shooting about wrestling for a couple hours could be entertaining. |

There's one match mentioned that isn't televised. I wish it was because now I want to see it. |

I saw that sign, but I didn't know exactly what it said.
All I saw was "EAT SLEEP POOP REPEAT". |
Also, my Kaitlyn T-Shirt arrived today.
For some reason, it was sent to me in Amazon packaging. So I'm assuming that WWE EuroShop and Amazon have teamed up since EuroShop's return. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with my purchase and I have no buyer's remorse. :y: |

Sadly you hear too much bs about the major corps that ones actually doing the right thing get the bad rap.
|
Jericho's show is great but features a lot of guests I'm not all that interested in (music guys mostly) but JR's is very repetitive, seems to make the same points every week. Also, with those 2 and Austin's twice a week, and Cabana's a lot if the guests are popping up multiple times. This week for example, Austin did an interview with JR that I'm not that interested in because I know that Ross will be banging on about the same stuff he uses his own podcast for.

You realise that they can't just advertise anybody? That these people need to be onboard with it? And if nobody else offers or accepts, then they work with who they have.
