I just saw Pineapple Express for the first time. People had been bugging me to see it for upwards of a year, and the other night I was drunkenly cornered by friends and forced to watch it.

Well I was definitely pleased with it. Great movie, great cast. A little bit different than what I was expecting I will say. For some reason that big fat black cop lady that was in the film for all of 45 seconds made the whole thing for me.

A complaint would be a lack of scenes with his mega hot eighteen year old girlfriend. While it seemed this would end up being a centerpiece for the film, she ended up being in all of three scenes.

I'll give this an 8/10. It cannot achieve the maximum rating I believe due to a complete lack of titties of any sort.

The Descent 2 - 3/5

Oh my God.

Loose Cannon 03-26-2010 12:09 PM

that movie was awesome.

The 4th Kind: 2/10

wow, horrible. fell asleep like 3 times during it

Bad Company 03-26-2010 06:06 PM

Gran Torino - 10/10

G 03-26-2010 06:22 PM

hurt locker 8/10

the barrett 50 cal scene was my favorite part

ClockShot 03-26-2010 09:53 PM

The Big Lebowski - 4/5

I had a mix of :?: and  at the end.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li - 2/5

Loved Kristen and the [mostly] well directed action, but I probably need to blog about what went wrong with this movie. Here's a hint: shoot the fucking writer. I've never known to personally dislike a writer because of his content, but there's a first time for everything - and this guy offended both SF franchise and cinema conventions. Jesus Christ.

Kalyx triaD 03-28-2010 05:02 AM

Ninja Assassin - 5/5

Yeah, you definitely should blog about it.

Kalyx triaD 03-28-2010 05:12 AM

A TPWW thread simply wouldn't cut it. Gotta think big.

Juan 03-28-2010 05:30 AM

Of course

Kalyx triaD 03-28-2010 05:32 AM

If only you were cool enough to understand. :nono:

Juan 03-28-2010 05:43 AM

You think I don't understand? Of course you do. See ya in a bit.

Kalyx triaD 03-28-2010 05:53 AM

No. I will not see you in a bit.

El Fangel 03-28-2010 05:56 AM

Hot Fuzz - 6.5/10

It was ok, not exceptional, but not boring either.

XL 03-28-2010 08:06 AM

Kick-Ass - 10/10

I don't really give full marks to anything, but I don't know why, so I thought I'd break this stupid tradition and go there for this.

wwe2222 03-28-2010 02:04 PM

The Ghost Writer: 5/10

Blitz 03-29-2010 12:24 AM

The Collector: can't even rate this really, supposed to be a Saw-esque torture porn flick but is actually one of the funniest movies you will ever see.

Loose Cannon 03-29-2010 12:45 AM

that movie disturbed me. and I don't get disturbed easily

PorkSoda 03-29-2010 11:34 AM

Amost Heroes - 10/10. Chris Farley RIP.
Man On Fire - 7/10.

Loose Cannon 03-29-2010 11:46 AM

you know, Almost Heroes is very underated. I've watched that one more then all his other movies. It's really a great movie

PorkSoda 03-29-2010 04:47 PM

Truly is. First time I watched it was a few nights ago, and every time Chris Farley was on screen, whether he was just staring at something or saying just a couple words, it was hilarious. The plum pudding scene also had me cracking up....

Out Of Time - 7/10.

AngryMidjit 03-30-2010 10:49 AM

miracle at st. anna
4/10

typical spike lee movie with all whites being racists with southern accents, and bad acting

AngryMidjit 03-30-2010 02:16 PM

i also just saw the warlords this morning

even though it's in chinese with english subtitles, it's FUCKING AWESOME
jet li is FUCKING AWESOME

Schlomey 03-31-2010 01:47 AM

Brothers - 1.5 out of 5

Very unemotional for such an intense storyline. Very bad film.

El Fangel 03-31-2010 01:49 AM

Public Enemy 1/10

Christ, I watched like 30 mins and said fuck it.

The Franchise 03-31-2010 09:03 PM

Crazy Heart - 6/10

It as probably a good movie but I found it boring/was tired

Droford 03-31-2010 10:38 PM

Dead Snow 8/10

Aside from being completely disappointed by the Bluray quality (I thought at first I had been sent the DVD) and the super low budget special effects, its probably one of my favorite "zombie" movies though Im sure that "zombie" in this case is loosely used because the Nazis aren't exactly standard zombies.

PorkSoda 04-04-2010 11:03 AM

Clash Of The Titans - 9/10. I didn't like the last 30 seconds. There was an Expendables trailer that had ARNOLD, Willis, and Stallone inside of a church for a few seconds. I marked out.

Kalyx triaD 04-04-2010 11:11 AM

Said trailer is in the appropriate thread.

bigdaddysuperfreak 04-04-2010 11:16 AM

Did they use some kind of voodoo magic? Kind of sounds like the movie PumpkinHead a little bit.

Phantom of the Opera (2008) version. - 9/10

I'm a sucker for musical theater.

Droford 04-04-2010 08:44 PM

Time Traveler's Wife - 6/10

Kinda wanted to like this, but there were plot holes and lots of unanswered questions, and too much of Eric Bana's naked ass.

Good for you :y:

mitch_h 04-04-2010 09:54 PM

The Ghost Writer - It's slow burn suspense felt anachronistic, but in a good way. The ending gave me goosebumps as well, I also liked seeing Ewan McGregor in something without George Lucas dialogue. 7.5/10

Fantastic Mr Fox - 6/10

Bigger Than Life - Pretty crazy Nicholas Ray film about a guy who takes an experimental drug called "cortisone" to cure some heart condition and the drug ends up turning him into a huge bastard. Delirious and cheesy but rich with subtext. 8/10

A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies- 8/10

Voskhozhdeniye (The Ascent) - Russian movie about two soldiers are captured by Nazis. Really cool black and white cinematography and had a bit of a Kubrick feel to it. 9/10

The Genius 04-05-2010 04:03 AM

hot tub time machine 6/10

Taft 04-05-2010 04:25 AM

Interstellar 5555 - 9/10

Daft Punk movie sup
