Supreme, do you feel a new QB is needed in Cincy?

Also, your thoughts on T.O. ? Will he be a Bengal next season?

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2010 04:03 PM

I def think Palmer will be gone, along with Marvin Lewis.. My question is, will Palmer catch on somewhere eles or is he done?? He was a top 5 QB a few years ago but hasn't been the same since his knee injury.. At the same time, the Bengals haven't been the same since then either which shows how good he actually was up until that point..

Dont care about T.O..

parkmania 12-29-2010 04:08 PM

Who'd T.O. ever beat? Oh that's right - NOBODY!

Also, I pray that Chad Johnson gets traded to either St. Louis or Detroit. Those are the only teams that have retired #85.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-29-2010 04:19 PM

Palmer will be back. And he should be. Dunno why everyone shits all over him. The playcalling has been atrocious the past two seasons. And not to point fingers, but isn't it odd that against San Diego's #2 ranked defense without his top 2 targets, Palmer has the best game of his career?

The coaching staff needs to go. I have nothing against Marvin Lewis and I think he did a great job, but he's gone as far as he can with this team. Bob Bratkowski is done as OC. Has no imagination and can't call plays. But I think Marvin will be back. Dunno.

Chad and TO are great players, but they're not what the Bengals need now. They need youth.

SammyG 12-29-2010 04:27 PM

No way we go for Ocho

Supreme Olajuwon 12-29-2010 04:31 PM

Yo Sammy, tell your boys to start giving Mardy Gilyard the ball.

ESPN broke down the reason for the fine over suspension pretty well since NFL was in a tough situation since any decision wouldn't be liked.

They could have suspended him but since he hasn't passed the concussion test for next week, it wouldn't have made any real effect. Neither would a suspension for next year since it would be worthless if he retired.

NFL was pissed but only could fine him $50,000 due to the rules on amount for fines. Farve isn't clear of all this mess since he can still be sued but it wouldn't be a normal case due to statue of limitations on the original complaint already passed by.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-29-2010 05:19 PM

Roethlisberger got off easy too. He got a 4 game suspension when he should have AIDS and be dead.

He has been inactive. Dude is apparently retarded and can not figure out our simple West Coast offense

Supreme Olajuwon 12-29-2010 05:57 PM

Yeah he's dumb as shit ghetto trash, but he's a really nice dude. Want him to succeed.

The NFL also "conveniently" delayed making any decision about this until Favre's season was over.

Emperor Smeat 12-29-2010 06:36 PM

Yeah the complaint about the NFL being upset for Farve not cooperating was dumb by the NFL even though the NFL didn't start the investigation until 2 months ago. If the NFL felt like Farve wasn't helping, then the fine and/or suspension should have been done sooner.

The NFL also ended up being stuck in a mess since the lawsuit against Farve was going to be based on the NFL's decision and Farve didn't break any rules but did embarrass the league so something had to be done.

Droford 12-29-2010 11:51 PM

The NFL should have suspended Favre for life so we wouldn't ever have to deal with "Will favre come back???" again. Im not 100% sold that he's not gonna at least give it a shot next year at some random team's training camp.

Supreme Olajuwon 12-30-2010 03:42 AM

Wish he wouldn't have missed games so the streak would've come into play in the suspension. Would've pissed everyone off even more.

McLegend 12-30-2010 04:04 PM

Kolb is expected to start on Sunday against The Cowboys.

OssMan 12-30-2010 06:50 PM

Fuck I missed the T.Ocho show on tuesday

Nobody ever accused you of being a smart man.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-31-2010 02:42 AM

The NFL fined Bret Farve due to lack of evidence. Heh 50,000 bucks to tell tell him that he has a small dick lol.

Oh come on. The odds are pretty good that Favre will take the offseason to heal up and come August he'll get the "football bug" and want to play for someone, and likely some team with QB problems *coughpantherscough* will probably let him have at it in training camp.

SammyG 12-31-2010 08:11 AM

Naww, I legit think Favre is done after this year

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-31-2010 12:45 PM

Unless he wants to be a Quarterback Coach, NFL Coach or some sort of ESPN analyst it will be over for him with the NFL.

Hell ESPN has been sucking his cock for 5 years with this retire-unretire-retire-unretire bullshit. It's like "the Labron Decision show" but every goddamn season for five straight years. They will offer him a job as soon as it's over. It's like there wasn't anything else to talk about in the NFL to these people.

ClockShot 12-31-2010 06:40 PM

And John Fox is all done at Carolina.

Emperor Smeat 12-31-2010 09:29 PM

Amazing how he managed in his 1st or 2nd year to take a team that was horrible to almost winning the Super Bowl but Panthers relied too much on Jake Delhomme leading the offense even while he declined badly the last couple of years.

Evil Vito 01-01-2011 11:55 AM

Really wish the Panthers and Falcons didn't play BEFORE the Bears and Packers. Yeah the Falcons will probably run all over the Panthers, but now the Bears are gonna know it ahead of time. :( I don't care what Lovie says, there's no way he's leaving his starters in for more than 2-2.5 quarters against a tough Green Bay defense on a cold day on a bad Lambeau Field when there is nothing to play for.

Giants only have themselves to blame. Should've handled their shit. Tomorrow is more about saving Coughlin's job, and I think a 10-win season will do that even though it should have been more.

Kris P Lettus 01-01-2011 12:08 PM

Don't worry Big Vito, the Panthers are gonna beat ATL..

:y:

Even if Favre isn't going to return again, it's not going to stop ESPN from starting up the coverage and building the hype machine again come July/August.
They will do it all over again, even if his answer is going to be no.

I also won't be suprised if he gives into their hype and signs with a team. He clearly can't keep away.
Nothing will suprise me to be honest. As long as there's a desperate team willing to give it a try, it can keep happening.

DaveWadding 01-01-2011 05:29 PM

I'd take Favre over the Anderson/Hall/Skelton pupu platter the Cards have at QB right now.

CSL 01-01-2011 07:27 PM

I hope Brett Favre plays forever.

parkmania 01-01-2011 07:38 PM

Who needs Favre worse - AZ, OAK, or SF?

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2011 08:13 PM

I don't think he'd want to play in places with good weather all the time like that. He's a tough guy! He likes the cold and the winter weather.

I'd actually expect him to try the Bills if they move to Toronto.

Cooler Tom Schuler 01-01-2011 08:24 PM

Minnesota plays (played) in a dome.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2011 09:09 PM

Yeah but that means he has to live there in the cold too.

But he is from Mississippi, you fucking ignoramus..

Kris P Lettus 01-01-2011 09:57 PM

He also "lives" in MS.. He just worked in ATL, GB, NY and MN..

The Dolphins! He's gonna pull a Lebron and take his beat up body to South Beach...

oh wait, not an option.

probably Arizona.

Ermaximus 01-01-2011 10:29 PM

Trent Edwards starting at Houston tomorrow. Well, I guess we're finishing 8-8 this year.

Out of that list, Arizona sounds like the best choice since they have a great WR and almost no running game which means a lot of throws over rushes but Minnesota had a great rushing attack and wasted it badly this season and parts of last season by over-using Farve.

ClockShot 01-02-2011 09:43 AM

The last sunday of regular season football....

SammyG 01-02-2011 10:28 AM
