The Master 7/10
Disturbia 5.5/10
Jason Bourne - 3/5
Ant Man-8/10
Remember having zero interest in it when it released. But Michael Douglas' straight man to Paul Rudd's comedic antics was perfect. Liked the creativity in fight sequences. 22 Jump Street-8/10 Jesus Christ I laughed throughout the whole fucking movie. There's a scene with Jonah Hill and Ice Cube that is just fucking amazing. My only complaint was that it went a little long. But very funny nonetheless. |
Anthropoid- 3.5/5
Margin Call 7/10
The Devils 8/10
Bat-shit crazy. |
Kubo and the Two Strings - 8/10
Hell or high-water 8/10 pretty good and black widow would like it bc there were no colored folk in the movie
We Are Still Here 7/10
Rare gem amongst the 3644663246885422 shit horror movies on netflix. |
Wyrmwood - 7/10
Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies - 2/10 |

The Lobster 6.5/10
Kubo and the Two Strings
9/10 |
Munich 7/10
Hell or High Water - 4.5/5
Foxcatcher-7/10
I'd already seen 2 separate documentaries on the true story, and while the film was really compelling at times and everyone involved is in top form, it kind of skims over the decent of DuPont, which the most interesting aspect. |
Captain Fantastic 7.5/10
The Witch - 10/10
Hunt for the wilderpeople 8/10
The Infiltrator 7/10
Morgan 5/10
Gravity
Absolutely stunning visuals and cinematography, but little else. 5/10 |
The Girl with all the Gifts 8/10
The Shallows --- Cool shark attack movie with a hot actress. Kinda "chick flicky" for the subject matter but yeah I dug it 5 beers in. 3.5/5
Magnificent 7 (2016) - 6/10
The March of Ides 7.5/10
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - 3.5/5
The Conjuring 2 9/10
Joy-8/10
The legend of Hell House-
Atmosphere 9 Mood 9 Ending 4 7/10 |
The Accountant - 9/10 - Very good, perfect combination of action, humor, suspense and story..... and Anna Kendrick is smokin' hot.
Ghostbusters 2016 version- .* out of *****
Lady Berg(my wife) hates Kate McKinnon for some reason, she is a diehard GB fan like myself, but we both agreed it was a steamy pile of shat. half a star for the ghost animations being on point |
Hunger Games: Mokingjay Pt.2 - 4/10
Movies got worse as they went with the finale being a real turd. |
The Accountant - 4/5
I echo Nicky's opinion above. But, swap Anna Kendrick for Cyndi Addai-Robinson. Enjoyed the twists at the end. |
Inferno 7/10
I think Felicity Jones should become my wife; it would be beneficial for all. |
Westworld (1972)
8/10 Can see how it would have been a big influence on The Terminator |
Waffle House - 7/10 - solid motion picture
Ashby - 7/10 - A bit strange, but solid as well. |
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back 7/10
Sex Drive - 7/10 - typical "American Pie-esque" sex comedy, better than most
Zootopia-9/10
Loved it. Not at all what I was expecting. Bit more adult and heavy handed then I'd have imagined. But a really good time |
dark places - 7/10
manhattan night - 8/10 would have given it a 6 if it wasn't for yvonne strahovsky's tits and ass |
warcraft - 4.5/10 that was pretty fucking stupid
Doctor Strange - 8/10
Great movie, and another fine entry into the MCU. Eggs Benedict Cucumber Snatch was amazing as always, and the action and comedy was mixed perfectly in true Marvel fashion. The magic and fights look really great too. However, if you're not a fan of the "Marvel formula" you'll probably have a bad time. I imagine the ending especially will have some people (mostly the DCEU fanboys) bitching and moaning because "it's not serious enough or dark and gritty enough!" |
Oh, and the mid credit scene is hysterical. After credit scene is sorta meh, but sets up for a sequel nicely.
Doctor Strange 7/10
Kung Fu Panda 3-7/10
Step down from the first. But the jokes were funny, animation was great and assuming it's only a trilogy, rounded out the story nicely. |

Hacksaw Ridge - 4/5
Doctor Strange - 8/10 - As good as any other Marvel movie. Didn't know the story from the comic book at all and still enjoyed it.
Doctor Strange (2016) - 5/5
Fantastic. |
The Accountant 7/10
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part two: 6.5/10....... was way better than part one, which was hot garbage, or so I remember...... overall kind of "perfectly average" franchise, but on the "low side" of "average"........
Dracula Untold 6.5/10
Arrival - 8/10 - Usually not a huge fan of these types of movies, but thoroughly enjoyed it. And Amy Adams is hot as shit....
They Live - 710 - The movie really resonated with me. Movie is very topical, probably moreso, today.
Misery - 9/0 - Great thriller. Kathy Bates was superb. |
Arrival 8.5/10
Arrival - 4/5

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them - Good, not Great. 8.5/10
Batman - Return of the Caped Crusaders 8/10
Nocturnal Animals 8/10
Tense, a bit-off, kind of like a perfume commercial but more dramatic. |
Final Fantasy 15: Kingsglaive - 3/5
Wonder how many people actually read this thread.

Rogue One: 9/10

Would love to see more movies similar to it, episodic accounts of diff characters in HP universe etc though |
Agree, it was good, but dunno how they will stretch five sequels out of it..... Was "glad" that it told a "complete story" and stuff without doing a lot of "obvious setting up for franchise/sequels"........
Would be "ok" if each "sequel" doesn't "star" these characters, but what "ties the movies together" is the bad guy...... like it is showing "various events/defeats in his life"........ |
Man in the High Castle S2: 10/10
Rogue One - 9/10
Rogue One - 10/10 bothans
Moana - 6.5/10 - Didn't like it as much as the previous Disney movies, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to like it....Just, meh....

Whiplash 8.5/10
Intense. |
Fences - 4.5/5

Rogue One-8/10
Fun story. Heroes were underdeveloped. But the story and making sense of the death star flaw was great, the use of Tarkin was cool, and Vader was a fucking beast. |

The Jungle Book (2016) 8/10
Now You See Me 2 8/10 |
Rogue One: 9/10, minus point for Jar Jar Tarkin.
