Obviously Roman puts Braun in the dumpster and pushes it off the stage.

Sepholio 04-24-2017 07:48 AM

nah Roman gonna be hiding in the garbage where he belongs.

That meme will be gold, re: trash roman

I remember reading that SmackDown used to be re-edited in India to make The Great Khali look like the most all-conquering wrestler since Hulk Hogan.

Hope they do the same with Jinder.

How did they pull that off with classics like Khali vs 3MB?

Nope.

And I think it is a weird decision to push Jinder just for the sole purpose of expanding business in India. He's not even close to how popular Khali was in his prime.

Shaq recently blamed the WWE management for why his match at Mania never happened.

Quote:

O'Neal: "Because they kept playing. First, they said it was me and Big Show. Then, they said it was going to be 3 and 3. Then, they cancelled it so when they cancelled it, I made other arrangements. And then they tried to call back and tried to get it done, and I just said, 'I'm not going to do it.' They messed it up."

Kinkade: "And my theory all along – this is not his commentary – I have a hard time believing that somebody would read a script where he would lose in anything."

O'Neal: "So you're saying I didn't want to lose? It's for the kids, John. I would have lost for the kids. For the kids."

Kinkade: "You are competitive."

Gass: "The man did Kazaam for God's sake."

O'Neal: "Exactly, yes. I would have lost."

Adam Rose SHOOTING on Braun:

Quote:

“Braun is the nicest person in the world, people don’t know that. And he has this voice, this country voice. If he sings country music you’ll fall in love with him. He can sing a country song like no other. He has this amazing voice and at one point he was my Rosebud general because he used to control the others. I still remember at Raw this one time and Braun was yelling ‘Everyone listen up. This is about Mr. Rose, this is not about you!’ and I was like ‘Braun, calm down there’s no need to be so hard about the whole thing.’ That’s the one Rosebud people remember. They’ll never let him live it down. I still remember being in Gorilla Position and Vince McMahon seeing him in his Rosebud costume and looking at Hunter like ‘What are you doing to us?'”

WWE currently rumored to be interested in signing another big name announcer to a deal.

Quote:

Sportskeeda and the Dirty Sheets Podcast are reporting that WWE is reaching out to former UFC commentator Mike Goldberg to possibly join the WWE announcing team with the recent departure of Mauro Ranallo. WWE was previously interested in Goldberg possibly replacing Jim Ross back in 2005, but Goldberg opted to stay with the UFC. Goldberg ended his tenure with the UFC late last year after a 19-year stint with the promotion.

The new report indicates that Goldberg WWE’s “top target” to join the company. Additionally, it states that Jim Ross’ friendship with Mike Goldberg was another reason the WWE Hall of Famer was rehired. Allegedly, Triple H believes Jim Ross could influence Goldberg in joining the company and helping him get acquainted with the WWE product. Additionally, WWE has only reportedly had conversations with Goldberg’s representatives and has not spoken to Goldberg in person. So, a potential deal with WWE and Goldberg could still take months to actually take shape.
Over/Under on 4 months before Vince decides he hates the guy and/or his style once a deal is made.

Bad News Gertner 04-24-2017 06:43 PM

Hopefully he doesn't cry and run away like that bitch Mauro

Sixx 04-24-2017 06:51 PM

#MeltzerSheep

Good thing he was working like crazy to improve his physique before the push. Good thing he was put in the middle of a SportsCenter moment at Mania with Gronk. I'm sure it was all a coincidence though. I'm sure someone in WWE accidentally googled top countries by population three weeks ago and realized India was near the top.

I'm sure Meltzer needs a way to justify why he wasn't reporting this was coming 4-6 months ago.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2017 07:55 PM

Holy fuck, I didn't think this idiot would even actually try to claim WWE had been planning this Jinder Mahal push for 6 months. Jesus... lol

mike adamle 04-25-2017 07:57 PM

I mean... he makes a point...

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2017 07:59 PM

Having him be an undeniable jobber for 6 months was a genius way to build him up, huh?

mike adamle 04-25-2017 08:00 PM

Is it really that much different from how they push everyone else?

Because he got in better shape and was involved in an angle with a celebrity at WrestleMania THREE WEEKS AGO, CLEARLY they've been planning this push for 4-6 months.

mike adamle 04-25-2017 08:02 PM

He didn't just get in shape 3 weeks ago. Honestly I thought this push might be a thank you for signing the contract to come back when the brand split started when not many people signed the deal to come back

Not really. Because they don't plan shit out. This is just a glaring example that CyNick has actually somehow found a way to try to bullshit out of.

So it's just that. That he got in shape. That's the evidence that they planned his push months ago...

mike adamle 04-25-2017 08:04 PM

Or maybe he's right

Well they thought enough to get the person Orton was in a program with (Bray) and switched him to another brand. Then Jinder was moved to SD!. That had to have been planned. Then Jinder won the #1 Contender match. That was more than likely planned as well...

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2017 08:05 PM

Right. Because he got in shape. PROOF.

... Stuff that happened within the past couple weeks...

mike adamle 04-25-2017 08:07 PM

Yeah but the trades have been planned for a while, as well as what happens after said trades...

mike adamle 04-25-2017 08:08 PM

Vince or Triple H probably brought Jinder into the office 2 or 3 months ago and said "listen kid, you gotta get in phenomenal shape because we have something for you soon..."

Come on. Not only is this a tv product, but it's a traveling job, they're not gonna just keep the talent that has to travel from city to city uninformed on where they need to travel to and what brand they're traveling to be on.

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2017 08:15 PM

If Vince or Triple H decided months ago that they're planning a push for Mahal and they built it up by having him basically be Barry Horrowitz, that would probably be more retarded than just randomly deciding he's going from jobber to main eventer overnight. I'm actually giving them credit by conceding that the latter is clearly what happened.

According to Alexa Bliss, that actually happened at least for her. Didn't find out till the day of the Shakeup show she was heading to RAW.

Then again to be a bit fair, WWE had all of Smackdown's roster on that show in order for no leaks to happen.

Except there have been plenty of people who have said that's exactly what's happened when they've switched brands.

Damian Rey 2.0 04-25-2017 08:22 PM

Remember when Kaitlyn said she quit because she showed up to tv and was told they had nothing for her?

Months and months of planning. Bray just dropped the belt to Orton, got put into a rematch, and then suddenly moved to Raw in the middle of a feud. Doesn't seem like something that was planned for months.

I'd tell my talent to tell the outside world we didn't know what was going on either

#1-norm-fan 04-25-2017 08:25 PM

Jim Ross said he almost quit the night he and Michael Cole switched brands because he wasn't told until that night. Jim Ross was not working for WWE at the time.

Mr. Kennedy has said most of the people traded had no idea until that day. Also was not working for WWE at the time.
