Overall...decent movie. Need to rewatch as i was preoccupied while watching the movie. Initially I'd give this movie 6/10

I loved Arrow this week.

This was the most 'CW' Arrow so far. Lot's of melodrama...And with that much sap, I still found myself liking the episode.

I enjoyed Superman: Unbound. Hope they go for a "sequel".

They did a LOT of name dropping this week. Well not a lot but I caught some nifty little nuggets that really help to broaden the 'universe' so to speak. I love the potential for this show.

arrow finale was good. they may have tried to wrap up too much too quickly in the space of one episode, though. just felt very intense the whole time. i really enjoyed it, but a couple of times i was like 'jesus, are they gonna slow down at any point?'
oh, well, i guess they did - lot of "there's no time for this but let's make out while we're racing to stop a disaster" moments, which irked me a bit. but generally, i must say, it's done a great job of picking up from being okay at the outset to actually being a show that i'm excited to see each week. also, SPOILER: show |
Apparently DC's doing a tie-in comic if you do the pre-order thing with the Man of Steel DVD/Blu-Ray pack. Normally this wouldn't be too significant, except for two major things:
1) It's written by David Goyer, and it's considered canon in the new continuity. And 2) One of the major characters we see in it? SPOILER: show |

James Robinson leaving DC Comics. Too bad. His Earth 2 series has been one of the only New 52 books I can stomach keeping up with. Was looking forward to him having a lengthy run on that book and building that world.

Seems like DC is just bleeding talent these days. Pretty soon it'll just be Geoff Johns and whatever abominations Scott Lobdell churns out.
