We must demand it!

Lock Jaw 02-26-2017 07:53 PM

I've seen that pic of that dude shrugging before...... but is that literally his gimmick? That he comes out and shrugs and pretends he is clueless?

#1-norm-fan 02-26-2017 07:57 PM

How is he legally allowed to use the same title as Vince Russo's biography?

That and constantly shilling his merch during his entrance.

Think his finisher is literally just a low blow or at least that is how he wins most of his matches.

Drew Galloway revealed on Twitter he didn't sign a new deal with TNA and left the company. Can't officially sign with a new company for at least another 2 weeks though.

I lean more towards a Japanese Eddie Guerrero. He is a scoundrel that you can't help but love.

What do you think the chances are of The Hardy's and McIntyre returning to WWE?
Nostalgia run for Hardy's and McIntyre on a mid card run if they do. With the next round of NXt call ups and Benjamin also returning there has to be some people let go or get sent back to NXT, who do you guys think will go?

Maluco 02-27-2017 12:17 PM

McIntyre would easily slot in on Smackdown when you consider that Crews and Kalisto are getting PPV time in a feud with no heat.

He would be an immediate mid level title challenger for me.

As for the Hardy's, they would immediately be more over than all the tag teams on Smackdown and possibly everyone on Raw too. Bring them back and let them do some wacky stuff with New Day on Raw.

So many guys are dispensible, especially on Smackdown. Vaudevillains, Ascension could easily be released to make room in the tag scene.

I feel like guys like Crews need to go back down to NXT and work on some sort of gimmick. Dillinger was average by all accounts until he came across the perfect 10 stuff. Easily enough people with no traction that need revamped.

Danny Electric 02-27-2017 12:26 PM

I agree with The Vaudevillans and Ascension, add The Shining Stars to that list as well. Also could see Fake Sin Cara get dropped as well.

Evil Vito 02-27-2017 12:32 PM

Not that I'm high on The Ascension as performers, but for a brief while it looked like they were going to be made to be important on SmackDown.

Then they failed to beat Alpha at Chamber despite Alpha having the shit beaten out of them by The Usos right before, and then jobbed clean to Alpha in a matter of minutes days later. Then I just said "oh" and stopped caring about them again.

Danny Electric 02-27-2017 12:34 PM

Yeah I agree with you on that one, when they entered after The Usos took out AA I kind of got behind them winning the belts and thought they'd do something with them and then they jobbed. Also with their new look as well.
Shame as they looked good in NXT

Bad News Gertner 02-27-2017 12:35 PM

Drew McIntyre is fucking horrible

#BROKEN Hasney 02-27-2017 12:38 PM

Not sure on Drew going to WWE. I hope so as I do rate him, but the scuttlebutt is that TNA just aren't offering that much money compare to some of the bigger indies now while still having to give up some freedom.

Hardy's were probably offered a better deal, but who knows. Sounds like NJPW is going to be the best place going forward for non-WWE contracted dudes.

Evil Vito 02-27-2017 12:38 PM

Drew had a great look and an incredible theme. Functional in the ring, but nothing special.

Really one-dimensional character though. Can't imagine he'd have ever been able to be a face in the WWE landscape.

Danny Electric 02-27-2017 12:57 PM

On another note to do with roster changes I would send Bo Dallas to Smackdown, make him slightly more unhinged and join him with The Wyatt Family, although knowing WWE they would call him Sister Abigail and say he's a pre op transsexual

Volare 02-27-2017 01:16 PM

What a way to kick off the night after Mania.

Kaitlyn has separated from her meathead husband and may end up looking for somebody completely different.

Wow, turns out the meathead took control of her Celestial Bodiez site behind her back and then shut it down.

What a five-star prick.

I feel pretty bad for her.

Considering he's following a very similar path, Cena recently revealed his verbal attacks of The Rock regarding his Hollywood career is one of his biggest regrets as a wrestler.

Took him years to realize what the Rock was doing and how he needed to do something similar to build his own brand and career after wrestling.

Looking back, Cena admitted that he now has a different perspective on The Rock’s success and his decision to leave WWE.

“It was stupid of me,” admitted Cena. “It genuinely was. That was my perspective at the time. When you’re involved in the daily grind of WWE, and that’s something I never will let go of—I promise you that. I just love it, and I don’t think I need to say that, ever again, or have somebody question my allegiance to a brand, not the sport of professional wrestling, so to say, but a brand. I love the WWE. For me to not be able to see Dwayne’s vision on what he wanted to do personally, and how his personal success could affect a growing global brand, that was just ignorant on my part.

“We have our blinders on, sometimes, in these daily situations of life, and, to me, my thing was, ‘Hey man, as a fan, I loved you performing in this venue all the time, you left us high and dry, why aren’t you back here? It’s obvious you’re still healthy and obvious you’re still capable.’ On the other side of the fence, I didn’t see the man who is so driven to crush the stereotype of ‘pro wrestlers are just pro wrestlers, and they can do nothing more, period.’ Here we are, when Rock left in 2002, it didn’t happen overnight for him, and through fifteen years of hard work, he is the number one box office draw in the world. There is not more of a foot in the ground that you can stake your claim in and say, ‘WWE superstars are so much more than WWE superstars, and here’s proof.’ I was foolish and ignorant to not see that, because I just wanted him, selfishly, on Monday Night Raw and on Smackdown Live.”

Cool King 02-27-2017 06:40 PM

I really hope Kaitlyn returns to wrestling now that she's separated from the meathead.

Even though she says she's retired, a part of me hopes that she retired because of him and now that she's not with him anymore, she feels she can return.

If she doesn't return, then that's cool. I just hope she manages to get her business up and running again and continues with the success she's had with it so far.

If I remember correctly, the main reason she retired was due to how terrible her final years were in the WWE. Lost all interest in wrestling because of it and decided to focus on her own clothing company instead.

Best case scenario might be just special appearances like the rumor about WWE contacting former women wrestlers for something special at Mania.

Cool King 02-27-2017 06:50 PM

Hell, I'm fine with special appearances.

Maybe if she does appear at WrestleMania, she'll see how the treatment of the Women's Division has changed and decide to return full-time.

He's not doing it for air. He's catching his hands on the apron and flipping over, he's done it since at least 2006, probably long before that but that's when I first saw him.

Lock Jaw 02-27-2017 07:53 PM

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted it, but decided not to change my comment...... I like thinking of it the other way more anyways..... more entertaining to imagine it wasn't done on purpose and he just can't jump that high
