He's not very graceful. I've had that in the back of my mind for a while. Considering that he can be quite entertaining on the mic, he can transition to becoming Big Cass' mouthpiece (of sorts). I am not sure if they will ever win the tag team titles on RAW.

Mr. Nerfect 02-15-2017 10:00 PM

People look back on NXT Brooklyn and think "Man, Enzo & Cass should have won the NXT Tag Team Titles there." I'd like to remind people that the story of The Vaudevillains felt more rewarding at that point in time. That says something.

He could be the best manager in WWE (where such a role is sorely needed), but WWE doesn't believe in managers, so he's out there stinking up the ring. :nono:

And he could fulfill the bumping end of being a manager like Bobby Heenan etc.

Being there I can say that is true. Great moment for the Vaudeys.

My brother was in awe that fans were chanting for somebody just for wearing Blue Pants.

Does anyone remember Triple H trying to get over a sleeper hold as his finisher instead of the Pedigree in late 2002? I had totally forgotten about that.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-16-2017 02:05 AM

Nope. Didn't have Spike at College at the time.

Should have just used Vanguard 1.

Bad News Gertner 02-16-2017 12:04 PM

That is the most TNA Wrestling thing ever

#1-norm-fan 02-16-2017 12:06 PM

They should always use Vanguard 1 for every match.

Ol Dirty Dastard 02-16-2017 12:20 PM

amazing

#BROKEN Hasney 02-16-2017 01:05 PM

Goddamn. Jeff Jarret has a meeting with ITV to talk about him taking over creative on World of Sport and then have a TNA talent exchange. He could be the master carny.

Ultra Mantis 02-16-2017 01:11 PM

Isn't Grado already both World of Sport's champion and TNA's jobbiest jobber?

Ol Dirty Dastard 02-16-2017 01:13 PM

just watching Tyler Bate v Chris Hero. Hero has the body type between a milk bag and cottage cheese

I feel he was pretty good for what they look for in your handsome, quirky play-by-play guy. The protoypical Tom Phillips. As the babyface lead announcer, Mathews should shut his fucking trap. I'd probably take him off commentary for what he is saying and try and get The Grish or Kevin Kelly.

I did prefer Grisham to Mathews.

Mathews always came across as being a bit of a prick to me.

The teaming of Grisham & Coachman on Heat was one of the things I really liked about the show.

That and all those Steven Richards matches.

Also, yeah I'm not really that keen on Enzo.

Like I said before, he has a Scrappy-Doo vibe about him but I'm like many who think he'd be much better as a manager.

His mic skills are really good, but the same can't really be said for his in-ring skills.

Have Enzo be Cass' manager and mouthpiece then a good while down the line, have Enzo turn on Cass and side himself with someone else.

I think that would really help Cass begin his singles run and having Enzo be a bastard to his best friend and turning heel would help Enzo too. I think a heel Enzo as a manager to a big guy would be something special.

Apparently George the Animal Steele is on his last legs. Bob Backlund called George's house and spoke to his wife asking to speak to him. His wife said "I don't think he's coming home this time" from the hospital.

Tony Schiavone actually revealed what he considers as "greatest night in the history of our sport" and it turns out to be two night. One being in WWF and the other being in WCW but not for good reason.

Quote:

What, do you feel, is truly the greatest night in the history of our sport?

Well, I guess for me a lot of it could be pointing out to the final Nitro. Doing Nitro become such a chore and so difficult to do for many reasons, so I was glad it was over. Personally, one of the great nights for me was my first show at the Garden, with Lord Alfred Hayes and Hogan and Bossman in a cage. For me, those are the top two.
Comes from an AMA session he had at r/SquaredCircle recently.

Which Brother Love? Bruce Prichard or the wrestler with that name that still works the North MS/Memphis area a few times a year?

Last Saturday DIY Mississippi Filmworks and Bodyslam Media Productions went to a Southern Wrestling Alliance show. Was held in a town of 700 people. And they sold 350 tickets.

No names on the card, well no names that are known outside the AL/MS area. But the crowd was into every match. And outside of the main event, every other match was fun. Started off with a fun vet vs vet match. With the face being billed as Free State of Jones Barry Wolf, all because he had a part in the film Free State of Jones. The next two matches were heel vet vs face rookie. With the better of the two going to a 15 minute draw. Then they took an intermission.

After it was over was a street fight. Had Son of JYD Mike Carter vs Marvelous Monty Warbucks. No idea why but on a show with a street fight that the promoter knew was going to go all over the gym, there was no security. So while doing roaming camera for that match I had to also keep the people back.

The main event was just bad. It was a 6 man tag. Face team was

Calvin Rose-The only wrestler worth a fuck in the match.
The Mountain Man-Imagine an even worse Uncle Elmer/Pascagoula Plowboy/Tiny Frazier.
Dream Machine-No clue who this was. I am guessing it was a rookie that they tossed a cheap mask on.

vs

The Assassin-No this isn't any of the known Assassins.Instead it is a fat old guy in a cheap mask.
Black Ranger 1-Was hoping this would be a Power Ranger rip off. Nope just an old fat white dude in b/w camo pants, black t-shirt and a cheap black mask.
Black Ranger 2-Same as Black Ranger 1,but 2 wasn't as fat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoiiihBGkSg

There's the main event.

Anyways besides getting paid for video/commentary work, plus selling a fuckload of DVDs at our gimmick table I managed to make a damn good profit that night.
