Even 20 years ago in WCW, how many older guys were stinking up main events every week? The wear and tear in on another level now I am just saying, you want memorable Bobby Roode matches in WWE? Get him up now, while he can still give you 4-5 years of them. |

According to PWI, Rock N' Roll Express are rumored to be among this year's class for WWE's Hall of Fame.
Brings the total to 9 so far for confirmed and rumored names. |

I posted this in the WrestleMania thread, but I really hope Cena keeps the WWE Title until WrestleMania and defends it in a Triple Threat against Orton and Styles. It isn't something I would have booked from way back in November, but given where the pieces currently lie, I think it would feel like the most "special" thing they could put forward. Cena and Orton represent an older era of WWE Superstars, and while AJ Styles is the same age as Cena and older than Orton, he's "fresher" and represents change with a mature face to achieve it.
As for Wyatt? Put the IC Title on him. It does nothing for Ambrose. Wyatt can cut promos about how Bray has already secured one singles title and Orton is going to secure the big one at WrestleMania, which doesn't bother him because he's a selfless ally. Luke Harper challenges his former mentor Bray Wyatt as Bray cuts promos talking about aimless Luke Harper was without him and that he turned a lost boy into a monster. Cena or Styles eventually pumps up Harper by reminding him that he is one of the biggest bad-asses they have ever seen and he had a legion of fans before he even stepped foot into The Wyatt Family compound. Bray's been using him and it is time to break free. Bray expects Harper to back off at WrestleMania, but Harper gets that crazed look in his eyes and just KILLS Wyatt for the first portion of the match. Heel strategies allow Bray to fight back and he screams "There's a monster in me too!" He goes to do his spider walk and Harper sits up and sticks his tongue and laughs at Wyatt, freaking out the Intercontinental Champion, who is eventually beaten down, given a Discus Clothesline caught into Sister Abigail for the pin. After Orton fails to win the WWE Title in the main event (even though it is John Cena that taps out to the Calf-Crusher), Bray Wyatt blames The Wyatt Family's lack of success on Randy Orton at WrestleMania. He points Orton after Harper and demands that instead of focusing on the WWE Title, he brings the IC Title back to their ranks. Orton vs. Harper is goes more violent than their past matches, with Harper retaining the title, leading to the ultimate destruction of The Wyatt Family and a feud between Bray and Orton. |
The 30 For 30 episode on the XFL has been decent so far. Looks like the rule book for the league seems to be what was the real turning point for it being a failure. NBC hated it compared to how they marketed the league and knew it was going to fail in terms of how games would be.
Also Vince being typical Vince and not listening to those saying his idea wasn't going to work without major changes done early. Vince wanted to do his stuff first and then change it if needed which NBC knew was going to doom the league from the start. |
 at Vince's main cameraman from the WWE realizing Vince was insane with wanting camera guys being on the actual field as plays were going on. Main reason why Vince had to pay extra for anyone crazy enough to do it for XFL games.
Also  at someone from NBC showing Vince a Madden NFL video game to explain the idea of sky cams (which NFL didn't do at the time). |
The story of the first XFL game as it happened is way too hilarious and all for the wrong reasons.
|
Holy crap Vince pulling a Bonds villain move with how he demoted NBC's main announcer for the games in favor of Jim Ross.
Had the announcer guy walk down a dim lit stadium to a limo eerily waiting at the end. Lights dimmed inside the limo and Vince pretty much demoted him on the spot in favor of Jim Ross for the prime time or "A" tier XFL games. The guy legit thought Vince was going to have him beaten up because of how shady the whole experience felt. |

Don't think anything the WWE has or will ever do can top the train wreck that was week 2 of the XFL. Holy crap at the amount of stuff going wrong during the night and to top it off, it was on the same night as the highly anticipated SNL episode with Jennifer Lopez as the guest.
This 30 For 30 on the XFL got really good after the first 30 minutes. |
 Even more examples of why nobody who actually works in the television production industry respects, takes seriously or is worried about Vince.
|
I work in the television production industry and I respect Vince.......
|
Could legit see Vince try one more time doing something football related whenever he finally decides to hand off the company to Steph and Triple H.
He pretty much implied no XFL 2 and would have to work with the NFL to make it successful. Probably something production related considering NFL borrowed several stuff from the XFL or maybe something a bit more ambitious like a developmental system done in other sports. |
Yeah the 30 for 30 was pretty good. XFL might have worked if they hadn't rushed the league along and have the teams time to form and adjust to the rules. That 2nd week game for them was brutal though and was no coming back from that even with a great game. I've got XFL cheerleader cards but I've never even seen an XFL player card. Vince didn't really do himself any favors but damn do I miss that Vince McMahon.

Wonder how much the WWE wrestlers would be swearing with that much silence around them.

I don't think Cena was on the card thankfully. You can usually hear him call his spots anyway, but with a Japanese crowd, it would be something else. |
NXT crowd in Japan was pretty loud.

Lesnar was asked what the most romantic thing he ever did for his wife (Rena Mero, f.k.a. Sable). Lesnar told a story about taking Rena on a tropical vacation after their son turned one year old. Lesnar told Rena to leave her wedding band at home so that it didn't get stolen. The people that were watching his kids took his wedding band and said that his son had swallowed it. They found an X-Ray online of a child with a ring inside their stomach. When Lesnar returned home, he wanted to buy Rena a new wedding band but she decided to search for the wedding ring inside the child's poop. She tried searching for the ring, to no avail. Lesnar bought her a new ring and gave it to her a couple of days later on their five-year wedding anniversary when they renewed their wedding vows.

makes me sad Bobby Heenan hates Schiavonne, but I remember Tony talking about it and taking full responsibility which made me respect him.
|
not to say Tony was wrong, because who knows, but I certainly wouldn't take the high road, the way he did.
