-Shield should stay together.

-WWE needs to add some kind of different dimension to Rusev, otherwise he's just going to end up being another Vladimir Kozlov or Sylvester Terkay.

Ronda Rosey and Shana Baszler having a prowrestling match while training. Ronda is a huge WWE fan. Look at the post she made with the video.

Daniel Cormier is also a huge wrestling fan.

Considering it was Hawk who did the clothesline, I don't think amazing bump was in Rick Steiner's mind. I actually doubt that was a bump.

The long delay in Orton's heel turn came because they were waiting for Sheamus with a bigger push to be more over than Orton with a lesser push on the Smackdown tour house shows. Eventually Punk turned instead and then Sheamus fell backwards and then got hurt. Also surprising is Batista is not on the list. This is a projection based on where they expect people to be several months down the line as opposed to where they are today and obviously when they get there things will have changed many times, but this is an internal list that was just made."

An article in Bloomberg.com listed that the WWE had talks with AMC Networks Inc., Viacom Inc., Time Warner Inc., and 21st Century Fox regarding negotiations for domestic TV rights. Talks only mean something if an offer is made. AMC is an interested one. Due to "Walking Dead," AMC is now a top five station. Viacom would be for Spike, which confirms what I'd felt for a long time was a logical business move, and also explains why Spike hasn't renewed TNA's contract that is up at the same time the WWE deal is up with NBC Universal. Time Warner would be for TBS and TNT. For what it's worth, I'm aware of a wrestling proposal to that company very recently where they said that they had no interest in wrestling again. Still, that doesn't rule out WWE. Fox would of course be to help build FS 1, and put UFC and WWE on the same station. George Barrios, the CFO of WWE, said he expected the new deal to be announced at the end of April or early May.

Road Dogg" BG James is legitimately suffering from a back injury. There was more talk this past week of doing The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania XXX.

In the key demo of males 18-49, Raw peaked between 10:02 and 10:12 p.m. EST for the meat of Bryan's "Occupy Raw" bit setting up Hunter accepting a WrestleMania match.

Numerically, the Q9 segment at the top of the third hour averaged 1.747 million m18-49 viewers and scored a 2.78 demo rating. This grew on last week's show-high Q9 performance of 1.620 million viewers and 2.57 rating.

Over-run: Raw increased to 1.534 million viewers for Bryan & Show vs. Orton & Batista. The segment was up from 1.429 million viewers for last week's over-run, but last week's segment included a rare mid-overtime commercial.

Q5: Raw got a 26 percent top-of-the-hour bump to 1.494 million viewers for The Undertaker returning and Paul Heyman confronting him, plus one commercial. The segment peaked with 1.700 and 1.701 million viewers before the commercial.

Q7: Raw rebounded to 1.484 million viewers for the end of the tag match, one commercial, and a Divas tag match.

Q1: Raw opened with a measly 1.081 million viewers for Hulk Hogan opening the show, John Cena interaction, and Wyatt Family interruption.

Q2: Raw dipped to a show-low 1.021 million viewers for Cena vs. Erick Rowan, plus two commercial breaks.
The Occupy segment's peak was around 1.92 before it started to drop. Also this week being the rare time that the 3rd hour wasn't the weakest overall.

Christopher Daniels announced on his Twitter that Bad Influence will not be part of this week's tapings. This week TNA will be taping four weeks of TV this week. This is interesting because the contracts of Daniels and Kazarian are rumored to be expiring in April. If they don't re-sign, Lockdown may be their final appearance in the company.

Jerry Lawler's tacky t-shirt from Monday's RAW, which was a tribute to Elvis, continues to be a hot topic among fans online this week. F4Wonline.com reports that Vince McMahon absolutely hated the shirt on Lawler.

Just finished watching this, but if any UK posters are interested in watching a documentary about ICW on the iPlayer, then here's a link.

It's pretty good, and it's also got a lot of Grado in it. :y:

This.

yeah, was gonna mention this, haven't got round to watching it yet but have heard a bunch of good things. Ridiculous what they have going on there, they draw numbers almost matching TNA's live gates in America. There's a documentary Vice made a few years back online also about them that's worth a watch

XL 03-13-2014 06:42 PM

Waaaaaiiiiiiiittttt. Bryan drew a better rating than Cena AND Hogan!? Someone check on #1 fan!

#1-norm-fan 03-13-2014 08:14 PM

... It was a good, unique fucking segment featuring a one of the only real angles they have going on right now at the peak hour for the show. If you really wanna get high and mighty on Bryan's behalf about ratings, I can bring up plenty more segments/PPVs featuring Bryan that tanked horribly. It's silly to even try to go there yet. Stick with "high workrate" for now.

Droford 03-13-2014 09:03 PM

Yay nxt is on..

#1-norm-fan 03-13-2014 09:05 PM

TNA actually put together a fine PPV last weekend. They deserve my split attention between Impact and NXT. At least during this opening divas match. MVP > divas rasslin'.

VSG 03-13-2014 09:22 PM

Probably because you're viewed as someone who can discuss subjects like Tatanka in a serious, thoughtful, civilized manner.

VSG 03-13-2014 09:48 PM

Tatanka is serious bizness?

#1-norm-fan 03-13-2014 09:49 PM

If you have to ask then maybe you shouldn't be part of the club.

VSG 03-13-2014 09:51 PM

Lol watching the entrance countdown episode

Bryan (on the subject of Goldust's entrance) "I liked it as a kid cause Marlena had these huge fake cans"
and then they show the Bellas

Tom Guycott 03-14-2014 12:13 AM

Upon further inspection of that Lita gif (you know, after getting past the obvious awe of hot chick without pants)... she had some fucking ripped abs! She prob'ly just got done washing those pants on her stomach before putting them on!

GD 03-14-2014 01:14 AM

So it seems like the WWE are heavily pushing NXT as a third brand (of sorts). They are covering the results on the main page of WWE.com and the history section now features championships that are defended in NXT.

Lock Jaw 03-14-2014 01:30 AM

Thanks for the warning not to go to WWE.com until I watch this week's NXT

#1-norm-fan 03-14-2014 01:32 AM
