I got the same CycloDS set up as you, with an 8GB MicroSD card. That was $108. The rest is international shipping.

Oh, and I already ordered the CycloDS. I'm buying the Fire Emblem shit because I love the series.

Less than a day now till it releases...can't wait, either. I'm glad the fans voted in Cammy in the online vote though...my all-time fav. in the series.

I've played it plenty. Online is wonderful. I, however, am not. I'm probably going to take one of my fightpads back though. I kinda need the money, and none of my friends have wanted to play much if at all.

It's not out here until Friday. I'm hoping I'll get it in the post a day early because I preordered it online.

Actually I've decided that I'm probably taking both fightpads back.

Lots of complaints on the net about the diagonals, and I have to say they are pretty accurate. I didn't really notice it until I went back to a regular 360 pad today, but I have no trouble whatsoever with Guile's Ultra on a 360 pad, where I have huge amounts of trouble on the Madcatz pad. The only real advantage to the Madcatz seems to be the size of the pad and the layout of the buttons. But honestly, I can live with both...hopefully until the PC version comes out.

This game rocks its everything i'd hoped it would be, (smooth) It was weird adjusting to it at first (and i'm no scrub i assure you) maybe because i simply wasn't expecting it to be this way. Feels great on the fight pad (unfortunately its a Ken pad but what the hell) real natural. Anyone else wanna share their first impressions ..?

WickedBison said he's getting it later this month so I won't be able to dive into it. I cannot wait. KoF11 is also pretty awesome getting into it. About as complex as 3rd Strike (Fierce Kick Special Cancel to Burning Uppercut Super Cancel to Super Burning Uppercut let three hits go then Dream Cancel to Leader Super Move). It's pretty wild and not for casuals, we should have been on KoFXI a long time ago, I almost feel bad for skipping it for two years.

I'm loving the game but I am also quickly coming to the realization that all of my VF and DOA have become detrimental to my SF skills. AKA, I now suck.

DOA's detrimental in many ways.

It's also generally CvS2's N-Groove (with K-Groove's ukemi roll save) so it's pretty tactical. But we'll get on that another time.

We're gonna have us a Street Fighter marathon. A brief tour of the series (settle some Hyper Alpha and 3rd Strike scores) then we dive into SF4.

Those that have played it, would you say the review is accurate in it's comments and scoring?

SFIV is released here on Friday but I preordered it online from GAME. Does anyone think there is a chance it might arrive at my door a day early?

the name seth is so random I've beat the game with Sagat, El Feurte, Ryu, and Someone else I can't remember right now. It's a pretty amazing game, I've unlocked two achievments and can't wait to go home and play again.

But I'm also playing GTA4: LATD which is the best expansion pack ever.

Seth was named after a popular SF player.

I got my Limited Edition a day early. Been messing about on it. The GAME website listed a CD soundtrack among the extra stuff but it wasn't in the box. I called up a local GAME Store and they gave me a number for customer services. I called and stayed on hold for about 25 minutes before being spoken to. After a long chat, the guy on the other end of the phone went to ask the "buying department" or something about it and when he came back he said no one knew what was going on with it. They asked for my number and said they would call me back. They ended up calling Capcoms offices to ask about it. When I got called back, I was told Capcom originally intended to put in the CD soundtrack but later decided not to and never informed the stores online section. I don't know why they decided against it. In the end, I got a five pound voucher for my next online purchase as compensation and they edited the games page on the stores site and told me they would have to email ever single person that ordered the LE from them to tell them why they don't/wont have the CD. The last 5 minutes of the phone call was the guy apologizing, even though it wasn't his or the stores faults as far as I'm aware.

I was wondering where the name came from. I thought it was just a random, short, slightly mysterious name. Then I finished arcade mode and saw the name in the credits and figured that's where it came from.

The game is very awesome. Can't wait to unlock myself some new characters. I think we may see new characters as DLC. A few smaller characters appear in the background of certain characters opening anime scenes, so I can imagine we may see them as DLC eventually.

Online is smooth but trying to actually get a fight started took me a while. It kept saying I couldn't join for some reason. I'm guessing it was request only. I got stuck with a guy that spammed the Hadouken to hell. I managed to smack him about as Zangief for a while though and on the topic of Zangief, I find his opening weirdly comical for some reason and I love the new scoop slam he has.

My only "disappointment" is El Fuerte (I know the spelling is wrong but you know who I mean). I thought we would get a cool Lucha Libre character but instead we have some crazy luchadore with an obsession with chefs and frying pans. I'm all for a crazy character but I wasn't expecting it from El Fuerte and I don't think it works at all.

Right now, I'm going to go watch the anime movie that came in the LE. Hoping it'll be cool and interesting. Sorry the post is so long. I just had a lot to say for once.

'Gief could PUNISH a Ryu player.

I thrashed him as Zangief. If I can just pull off the moves that require me to move the control stick in a complete circle, I could be equal or perhaps better than I am with Ken. I keep jumping when I try to pull those moves off.

I don't know what it is but a lot of my timing and stuff goes out the window when I play online. Even more so when I know the opponent. I have no idea why because I'm fine in Local Multiplayer.

For the record, the process to unlock Akuma and Gouken is fucking retarded. That is all.

Taking my fightpads back because of money concerns will probably cripple my playing time. I always have that lingering feeling that I'm missing out because I don't have a stick.

I know...I know. That's what she said.

What is the process? I heard it was pretty bad.

If you put it on easiest/1 round, getting Akuma/Gouken is real simple. The only challenging part is Seth. Fucking prick. And I like how my moves don't register against him sometimes. A simple fireball even. And I KNOW it's not my thumbs.

Anyway, I'm about 10 characters away from unlocking him.

Haven't tried online yet. Wanna unlock Seth first.

Also, so far there isn't any stage music that "jumps out" at me. Nothing too memorable yet.

The main menu music would be badass if it weren't for the terrible terrible singing.

Fei Long generally sucked. How they could put him in instead of Dee Jay or even several Alpha characters (GUY FFS), is a travesty.

Dans great, the amount of times we had Dan-Odd Tournaments on CvS2 was inasane :D
