Ryu in the next Sony Smash Bros? Exclusive SF game? Capcom had said they can't afford to make a next gen SF game. Maybe Sony is funding one on condition it's exclusive. I'm just shooting out ideas I've read elsewhere. See if anything clicks.

I've read on another forum that someone on Twitter has confirmed delayed wake ups and that having both ultras mean they do 60% damage.

60% is higher than I was thinking, given that it's going to be easier to build ultra meter.


Delayed wake up destroys the vortex game and should stop some unblockables but also ruins Gief and T Hawk.

Them having a harder time is well worth a game wide adjustment of that magnitude. They need personal buffs from there.

A lot of rumors leading back to the new chick being one of Bison's Killer Dolls, particularly the black one.

Did the Dolls in the alpha games play like cammy?

Would really prefer someone with a new, unique style as opposed to just Cammy with a tweaked move set.

Juli and Juni did have Cammy's moves as a base, but that was more a limitation of the medium back then. I think doing a Doll nowadays would result in somebody who plays more unique than simply being a Cammy clone. At best she'd have the alpha Doll attire but that's it.

First impression, looks too much like cammy. Saw a Cannon spike and dive kick in there.

I realize there will be differences, but like I said, I was hoping for someone totally unique.

While I'm also unimpressed, USF4 is generally unimpressive to me. This chick, while lazily modeled, is brand new. Had she had the same moveset under a different body people would be hype and all that.

Decapre is a legit clone of Cammy. So now instead of having a shit ton of Ryu clones (Ken, Dan, Akuma), we get a Cammy clone!

I do know for sure. A fairly complete walkthrough video was put up on IGN the same hour as the reveal. Her entire movelist is out there. There's no fog of war here.

No, we don't need to see how it pans out. Her walkthrough is out. The only functional carry overs from Cammy are most of her normals and some special animations. Her normals, like the disparity between Ryu and Evil Ryu's normals, will probably not work the same (in terms of frame data and priority). And the Canon Drill and Dive Kick animations are used WAY differently. They even took away her ground Canon Drill; the one thing that behaved like Cammy's special.

She's as far from Cammy as Oni is from Akuma (two totally different characters). But I'm reading all over the net how people liken Decapre and Cammy as Ryu/Evil Ryu, and most disappointingly right here, when the case was closed the same night as her reveal.
