Hopefully DICE uses the "Levelution" stuff they just revealed in battlefront. Could imagine a Star Destroyer crashing onto the map like the ship in the recent Battlefield 4 vid.

Is Crysis 2 Single Player any good?
Since I've got the key for the PC version and I play on using a controller anyway, I have no interest in competitive multiplayer. Buuuuut it is essentially a free game as I got it as part of the Origin Bundle I was already buying for other titles. |
I hear there's a good non-player character that makes it worth slogging through. I've got the game also, just haven't played it at all.

What's wrong with that? Battlefield has a f2p game and the core series rolls on.
Smelly kinda wrote that out wrong now that I read it. |
I was referring to the no emphasis on offline/single player gaming part.
|
Battlefield 4 has campaign mode. Mirror's Edge will certainly have its story mode. Story modes were added into the Need for Speed series at EA's desire.
The message is that there will no longer be strictly single player games and everything will have online functions of some sort added - which would really seem no different than the last few years of EA's offerings. |
The point is- single player in these games is an afterthought and as a predominantly single player gamer myself I dislike that this is now their official stance for the future.
|
It's just EA, their single player offerings are hack anyway.
|
Quote:
It's already an afterthought, sometimes non-existent, and otherwise almost always shit. |
Theres plenty of independ developers who will keep making kick ass single player FPS games like Daikatana, so don't worry.

He stated this was the main reason he turned to Kickstarer to help fund his Mighty No. 9 project which recently reached its goal. http://www.screwattack.com/news/pax-...rse-developers http://www.egmnow.com/articles/news/...ays-remaining/ |

I imagine you already have everything worth a damn.

Pretty much. Missing Conkers Bad Fur day because £90 is asking too much.
Thinking of getting Killer Instinct Gold, along with a couple of others. |
Don't think KI Gold aged well.

Probably not. I can't really think of anything else I'd really like to try get besides KIG and Conker. Fighters Destiny was cool at the time but I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 that had the cow. That's the one I played. Briefly played Body Harvest as a kid but not enough to remember anything about it.

I love Fighter's Destiny (1). Very interesting system.
