The first puroresu dvd I ever bought was the big Noah show in 03 where Kobashi beat Misiwa for the title. The whole card was great, but it started with a tag match featuring Rikidozans kids who were in their late 50's (and were never very good to begin with) and rusher kimura who was in his 70's. Watching them slowly and awkwardly "wrestle" had me screaming in my head that I wasted my money.

Rusher Kimura used to be pretty sweet

Oh yeah, he had a storied career but at this point he couldn't even hit the ropes. He was so old and frail that it looked like the atmosphere wad crushing him into a diamond. Made Ric Flair today look like a spring chicken.

Should see if you canwatch it just for how ridiculous it looks.

Oh fuck Backlund is facing King Kong Mosca. This is a horrible card. Mosca is the shits.

Backlund was so far ahead of anybody in this company in terms of in ring work. Backlund was the man.

This match is legendary

The Grand Wizard of Wrestling managing Slaughter. He died of cancer in 83. Loved the Grand Wizard. I've seen this match a couple times. Legit 5 star match. Look it up on youtube.

Vince hardly did MSG shows after 1982. Gorilla and a combination of either Lord Alfred, Mene Gene or Patterson did colour with him.
