lol two well past their prime wrestlers, coming out to a song by a well past it's prime band, in a well past it's prime promotion.

Who were their opponents, the Rock n Roll Express?

mike adamle 12-08-2016 07:06 AM

When was Rey in Noah?

Also, people said this same stuff about Justin Bieber before that little shit-stain blew up.

I don't know, I think it would all depend on who you talk to. For example, sports fans would probably know the random wrestler over a random little girl, whereas fans of pretty much anything mainstream (especially music), would probably know the little girl over the wrestler.

Gender comes into it too. I'd say more males would know the wrestler more and more females would know the little girl more.

As for Bieber, I think most of his "YouTube Success" can be put down to little girls who thought he was "hot" and "cute" because of his appearance and that he sang.

You give teenyboppers a "cute guy" and make him sing songs about being in love with them and how he would treat them if he was their boyfriend and you've got easy success and money.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Really good theme.

I'm curious as to why jobbers always have really good themes.

Big Vic 12-08-2016 11:39 AM

It wasn't a bad spot for a guest star..... if it was 2010 she would have 5 segments due to her hosting the show.

Cool King 12-08-2016 11:43 AM

Yeah, true. It wasn't anything terrible.

I do wonder why she constantly kept looking up the hall to her right though.

I saw some guy just standing there in the background but he wasn't doing anything so he couldn't have been distracting her.

Big Vic 12-08-2016 02:15 PM

because she's 12?

This is perfect for 98% of WWE

Maybe she should take the hint...porn is beckoning! :naughty:

His first question to her explains her entire lack of push in WWE "where have you been all day." E! is the only thing keeping her in WWE.

Lock Jaw 12-08-2016 11:01 PM

Where is that Vaudevillains puppet thing from, anyways?

Emperor Smeat 12-08-2016 11:20 PM

From this week's Smackdown pre-show event.

Lock Jaw 12-08-2016 11:38 PM

Is there a vidya anywhere

Emperor Smeat 12-08-2016 11:42 PM

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x54...ix-sixteen_fun

Starts around 6:24 into the video. Puppets have a few segments overall for the show.

Rammsteinmad 12-09-2016 12:36 PM

Big Cass looks a bit like Test in the gif a few posts up.

Lock Jaw 12-09-2016 12:38 PM

He is just realizing that himself

I've became somewhat addicted to this theme.

I've lost count how many times I've listened to it today but it's definitely more than 10 times anyway.

When I'm not listening to it, it's stuck in my head.

Cool King 12-09-2016 03:00 PM

I'm actually listening to it right now.

Also, I really really hope SmackDown isn't going down the same road Raw did a few years ago when it comes to celebrities.

Gabriel Iglesias is his name. He's a relatively big (no that's not a pun because he's fat...) stand-up comedian. He even had a "movie" that was in theaters for a while. I say movie in quotation marks because it was really just him doing stand-up for an hour+. I'm thinking that maybe there's a much bigger disconnect between the U.S. and other countries when it comes to famous people than I initially thought thanks to our interactions, Cool King. It's actually kinda enlightening.

Mr. Nerfect 12-09-2016 03:41 PM

Ugh, Gabriel Iglesias is awful.

XL 12-09-2016 04:07 PM

No idea who that is.

Two questions then:

Where are you existing?

Is there room for me?

His name sounds familiar. I'm sure I came across him on the internet way back in 2009 or something.

Unless they're a big movie star, singer or a big name in a sport that's not American Football, Baseball or Basketball, I'm pretty sure anyone outside of North America will not have a clue who they are.

I'm in England. Get in while you still can.

Those trees are terrifying.

XL 12-09-2016 05:03 PM

I mean, I've got a pretty broad knowledge of pop culture, but these last 2 guests on SDL? Not a clue.

My knowledge of pop culture is "shockingly bad" these days.

It's probably because pop culture these days mostly consists of The Internet, but also the usuals like "must watch" TV shows and chart music and I really don't give a crap about any of those, so I'm "left behind" as a result.

I see all these young people on TV and I'm left wondering who the hell they are and the vast majority of the time, it turns out they're someone from "The Internet/YouTube".

As for the "must watch" TV shows like Game of Thrones, Walking Dead and so on, I really have no interest in those shows, so the actors/actresses in them are basically unknowns to me.

As for music, like your typical lovable old curmudgeon, I think all popular music is shit these days, so obviously I don't listen to it and these singers, much like the YouTube guys, are just random young people to me.

Who? Gabriel Iglesias. He's like second to Kevin Hart for current hot male standup comedians and is a fan.
