I think Juan and Tb1 saw 2012 together.

We went to the Olive Garden after the movie. Pretty good night over all

thedamndest 11-20-2009 04:50 PM

No way I was just there!

Juan 11-20-2009 04:54 PM

No way!

The Olive Garden - Pork Milanese - 9/10

Served with some kind of stuffed pasta side. I squeezed lemon on the pork and it was even better. Unlimited pasta and breadsticks as always.

Juan 11-20-2009 05:08 PM

I love their Chicken Alfredo so much

Triple Naitch 11-20-2009 06:37 PM

Chicken Parm from Olive Garden - 10/10

DaveWadding 11-21-2009 03:07 AM

Drag Me to Hell 7/10 - Okay, but didnt really feel like anything special. Kind of enjoyed the last twist though. And I love Alison Lohman.

Pretty in Pink 7/10 - Not my favorite of the John Hughes movies.

Food Inc. 6.5/10 - Interesting documentary, but ultimately nothing special.

Bruno 8/10 - Funny, but not Borat funny.

Ogen 11-21-2009 09:01 PM

Funny People - I've no idea what to rate it, nothing like what I thought it'd be really. Def way too long ended up pausing it a few times to do other stuff. Kinda liked it though not sure really.

First time I've seen this in a while....hilarious and physco at the same time.

I remember being all psyched out for that movie as it was the first PG13 movie I got to go see (by myself in the end unfortunately) and I ended up being the only person in the theatre for a 4pm show. I do have fond memories of the soundtrack but someone stole it from me.

Anyway..

Monsters vs Aliens 6/10

Very disappointing though I will say that Dreamworks has picked up their CG Animation a lot. The celebrity voice cast was pretty much wasted.

Schlomey 11-21-2009 09:58 PM

Reign Over Me - Don Cheadle & Adam Sandler

9/10 - I admit....I balled like a fucking baby at times. Watch this one when you feel like a good cry. I'm a man. Admit it. You cry too bitches.

Chavo Classic 11-22-2009 12:23 PM

1/10 - Saw 6

We saw this film to kill time before a coach journey back from a weekend away. I wish I'd stayed in the hotel and masturbated with a cheese-wire wrapped around my shaft.

lol, this movie was horrible. I went with a bunch of people and we all hated it. even all the girls didn't cry. dunno what was so cry worthy here

McLegend 11-22-2009 06:32 PM

Donnie Darko- 8.5/10

XL 11-22-2009 06:52 PM

2012 - 6/10

Got real fed up with the amount of times they escaped certain death through pure luck. Went on a bit.

PorkSoda 11-23-2009 09:52 PM

The Forgotten - 5/10.

Flightplan - 7/10

Jon Kano 11-24-2009 02:28 PM

New Moon - 5.5

For someone who is way out of their TA, I think it's a fair score.

Wasn't THAT bad, but still, not at all my thing.

ClockShot 11-24-2009 02:28 PM

Star Trek ('09) - 3/5

Nothing special.

D Mac 11-24-2009 05:11 PM

You're crazy Clockshot.

ClockShot 11-24-2009 06:05 PM

I've always been more of a TNG guy to be honest.

Indifferent Clox 11-24-2009 08:56 PM

I love TNG but that new star trek was the shit 8/10

Loose Cannon 11-25-2009 10:08 AM

Bruno: 9.5/10

hahaha, classic. I must have a sick sense of humor because like Borat most people I know called this disturbing. I think it's the most hillarious thing making people feel uncomfortable and preying off prejudices. My favorite parts is when he went hunting with those rednecks, when he went to the army and when he went on that talk show. "Africa was full of African-Americans" ROFL

ClockShot 11-26-2009 04:45 PM

Ninja Assassin - 2/5

Plot sucked, acting sucked, actors sucked. Only saving graces were Zao from Die Another Day and some good fight sequences.

Only see this movie during matinee hours.

thedamndest 11-27-2009 07:06 PM

Funny People - 7/10

Pretty good. Sandler turns in a good performance. I like the idea of non-Apatow regulars in the lead because none of they all hit the best part of their range in Knocked Up.

thedamndest 11-28-2009 01:35 PM

The Thing - 9/10

Excellent film. Obviously it isn't as scary by today's standards, but when this came out in the early 80's this probably scared the shit out of kids. Great music, great setting, great directing.

McLegend 11-28-2009 01:39 PM

The Graduate- 10/10

PorkSoda 11-28-2009 04:04 PM

Analyze This - 6/10.

Exyle 11-29-2009 12:41 AM

The Stand - 7/10

Not as good as the book, but that's the case 95% of the time, isn't it? Still a very good representation of the novel, even though there are several noticeable changes. Mainly bought this because I recently read the book for the first time and wanted to see how they compared. Mission accomplished.

PorkSoda 11-29-2009 12:47 AM

Ninja Assasin - 7/10.

Kind of what Clockshot said, only I enjoyed some of the plot, although it was kind of confusing. Action scenes were shaky cam, which sucked big time. Would have been alot better if they werent filmed like that. Action scenes were a huge mess at times, but enjoyable.

Inadequacy 11-29-2009 07:28 PM

Dr. Strangelove - 9/10

Pretty stellar movie Peter Sellers was the man

Zen v.W.o. 11-30-2009 08:58 PM

The Road. Excellent film.

Viggo is the man among all men. Duvall played a great part despite not getting much screen time, and the boy did a great job too.

And it stayed true to the book, which is always a good thing.

El Fangel 11-30-2009 10:21 PM

Zen, you make me want to go to the movies.

PorkSoda 11-30-2009 10:33 PM

Childs Play 2 - 6/10.

Then you will go.

But not to see Twilight or some such shit.

El Fangel 12-01-2009 02:11 AM

I wanna see The Road, have to convince my significant other to as well.

ClockShot 12-01-2009 02:45 PM

Terminator: Salvation - 3.5/5

Watching this makes me miss The Sarah Connor Chronicles even more. :'(

thedamndest 12-01-2009 09:35 PM

Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) - 7/10

Prince of Darkness - 6.5/10

In the Mouth of Madness 7/10

Kris P Lettus 12-01-2009 09:55 PM

The Wrestler

10/10 due to Marisa Tomei being naked for 20 minutes of it.. Been in love with her since My Cousin Vinny..

Big Fat Mike 12-03-2009 10:48 AM

A History of Violence

9/10 because of the excellent yet simple story. And the fight scenes  They were few and far between but Viggo Mortensen was like a killing machine. Completley awesome.
