Apparently, Stacy Keibler is now married.

Jura 03-09-2014 04:11 PM

I feel like it happens a lot, you know when certain people are together for a long ass time and then break up and the next person they get with, they marry. She was just with Clooney a year ago.

classic segment from Memphis Wrestling

this is rather humorous since Lawler is a staunch anti-drugs & anti-alcohol person.

'The King' is down on his luck after 'The Superstar' took his title belt and last shot at facing World Champion Ric Flair before the end of 1985. Lawler had vowed to retire if he didn't become World Champion before the end of the year. (November 1985)

-the 2nd part of them showing how they planned it aired since WMC TV-5 got so many phone calls about Lawler being drunk.

I said years ago they should do something like this with Santino. There's this idea where a silly character has to be a jobber. Like a high fighting skill must be tied to "srs business". Santino is too talented both in the ring and on the mic to be where he is. The guy played a legit badass in OVW and pulled it off beautifully. It's not even too late for him.

I wanna see an angle where some heel is constantly bullying and beating the crap out of him until he's confronted by William Regal who has had enough and teaches him how to defend himself. After a few weeks of some comedy training vignettes between the two, Santino gets a match with the bully and even surprises himself with the ability he's found he naturally had hidden all along. He doesn't change his gimmick at all. He still acts completely goofy and fucks around but in the ring he can pick apart his opponent.

I seriously wanna just see a comedy character who is a badass in the ring and Santino is perfect for it.

Swiss Ultimate 03-10-2014 12:03 AM

Mankind turned into that for a bit.

Poit 03-10-2014 12:13 AM

A Regal/Santino training montage could be amazing.

So basically like "Goofy" Kurt Angle? I'd love it as goofy Kurt Angle was fucking awesome.

#1-norm-fan 03-10-2014 01:16 AM

Basically just without the background and probably not as a main eventer. As much as I love Santino and think he's fucking great in every way, I'm not sure I could see him as a real championship contender.

#1-norm-fan 03-10-2014 01:17 AM

Nah, fuck it. Give him the gold.

I would have loved to have seen Santino win that Rumble, the reaction would have been huge.

James Steele 03-10-2014 04:19 AM

Santino winning the Rumble and losing his WM match at Elimination Chamber would have been better than Cena winning the Rumble and getting his title match at Elimination Chamber...and still getting the title match at Mania anyway.

Santino winning that Rumble or beating Bryan in that Elimination Chamber match would have blown the fucking roof off the building.

Whenever they put him in something important, Santino is massively over.

but does he make money or improve ratings? aren't those the criteria you value most?

The Kozak brothers were one of those tag teams from the territory era that often gets overlooked. They were two damn good workers imo.

Jerry Kozak dies at 79

You can't tell the story of Jerry Kozak, who died last week, without telling the story of his brother. And you can't tell the story of Amarillo, Texas, without talking about Jerry Kozak.

The tale begins a long way from Texas, though, in Vancouver, BC.

The Kozak family has its basis in the Ukraine, where their father came from, and Edmonton, where he met their mother. He was a big strong man, working in the logging camps, until getting hurt. There were four Kozak children: Nick was the oldest, born November 3, 1932; Jerry followed on September 4, 1934; their sister Anna was a year younger than Jerry; Dolores came around nearly a decade later.

Jerry survived his own cancer scare a few years back, bladder cancer, but never got to perfect health again. He primarily kept in touch with the wrestling business and his old friends through his brother, Nick, who was always more outgoing and gregarious. They each had a trailer on a single property in Houston.

His passing on March 5, was announced by Nick on the weekend, calling in to the annual wrestlers-only Gulf Coast Reunion in Mobile, Alabama, a favourite trip for Nick every year.

He is survived by his brother, Nick and sister-in-law Judy, sisters Anna and Dolores, brother-in-law Brian and many nieces and nephews.

Since the last year and a half saw the call ups of The Shield, The Wyatt Family, and Big E Langston, and before that Fandango and Cesaro, it seems that call ups being less frequent will mean the WWE will just stick with their basic roster with little to no changes for awhile.

While NXT is called the future of the WWE, that future might not arrive on the grand stage for a long time.

However, Triple H also ensured that NXT would get pushed hard with the WWE Network and that all the wrestlers there would be much bigger stars than ever before thanks to the promotion on the WWE Network. While this might be disappointing to some wrestlers who wanted to make it to “WWE Monday Night Raw,” this might also open the door for more wrestlers to get the exposure they need to become stars in their own rights.

There are issues with the original Sin Cara appearing for the AAA promotion on their TV show in Mexico because he's still under a 90-day non-compete with WWE.

WWE does not have issues with Cara wrestling on indie shows but he cannot appear on TV until the 90 days is up in May. Cara is still insistent that after May, he will be able to use the Sin Cara name on TV. Cara says his lawyers are working out that as part of a deal with WWE.
