Who the fuck cares about a steak jacket?
Anyway, I came in here to say that EC3 is incredible. He's completely owning it. |

As for Punk, he seems like the kinda guy that if you're a friend he'd repay your loyalty, etc in kind. If you're a dude trying to get a signature or picture at 1am in the airport then, yeah, he's gonna be off with you. |
TNA's Brittany is waaaaaaaay better as a heel. Pretty solid match with Madison Rayne on Impact. Thumbs up. :y:

It was probably already posted, but this is actually kind of an interesting story, bringing up CZW a bit to describe the history of Dean Ambrose and using it as a way to segue into the feud with Rollins. |
For some reason, I think I have Scott Hall's TNA theme stuck in my head this morning. At least, that's what I think it is.....

They shouldn't let Eva Marie wrestle. Just make her arm candy.

Eva Marie had a bad showing by general standards or her standards?
I'd argue that, by general standards, Eva Marie ALWAYS has bad showings. |
Yeah, Eva Marie is pretty terrible
|
They should just put the title on THE DEMON KANE
Kane wins, we all win |
Actually, I'm in favor of Kane winning, because it would be a different option. Reigns isn't ready just yet. Orton has been done death. Cena has been done to death, reanimated, and done to death again. Kane is kind of a rare one.
|
Kane winning and avenging his brother's loss to Brock Lesnar the next month would really be something.

I'm fine with relentless booing of Eva Marie. She really has no business in the ring. She's been employed by WWE for well over a year now and has been at the Performance Center for most of it but has not improved one iota. She's possibly the most helpless person they've ever put in the ring.
Have her manage a heel or something and she'd be fine. |

Saw these at the local Landmark (which is a brick and mortar retail chain for books, audio / video, games, etc). Surprised that out of the 5 titles available, one is for Ryder. Checked if they had any other WWE DVDs across any of their other stores / in the warehouse, and the answer was no. CM Punk, Austin, The Rock, and HBK (not pictured here) i get. Didn't realise Ryder was SO popular to warrant an official DVD distribution here in India! |
They did a series a couple of years ago with him (Ryder), Mysterio, Cena, Kofi I think, and a couple of others. Just cheap DVD's with a few matches on them. I don't think they sold well in Australia, they seem to be getting cheaper every few months at our DVD/CD stores.
|
We've got some good deals here at the moment at Sanity, our major DVD/CD chain. I picked up the latest Ultimate Warrior DVD, nWo Revolution DVD, and Best of Nitro 1&2 DVD's for $50. They normally sell for $26.99 - $36.99 each.
|
WWE India's finally getting its act together. We just got the first official merchandise store on an Indian e-commerce portal (Myntra.com) last week, and most of the toys are being distributed at popular stores.
Hope the interest continues, and we get more licensed merch, faster. Sucks having to pay colossal shipping fees, and it deters me from buying more. |
Watched the youshoot Shane Helms.
Not good at all. Helms doesn't say much. The questions were awful. |
Eva Marie makes Kelly Kelly look like Kurt Angle.

Kelly Kelly isn't that ugly

C'mon dude, of course she is. She's blonde, which just makes her another generic blonde in the wrestling biz. Keep up man

2006 wasn't really a bad year for the WWE, was it?
It had it's good moments, with the one sticking out most for me being Edge cashing in on Cena and ending his nine month reign as WWE Champion. I don't think it was the worst promotion of 2006. |
That list in general makes me lose a shit ton of respect for them. WCW was not the worst all of those years. A couple of them maybe, but that list is utter nonsense.

I've watched a handful of them. But it's best known for introducing Bad News Barrett.

Apparently Spike TV is really upset at TNA right now and all because TNA deceived them about Vince Russo's status with the company. They only found out recently he got rehired because Russo accidentally sent the wrong email to PWI when he tried to disprove rumors of him working for TNA.

PW Insider are reporting that Cena giving the World Heavyweight Title to Flair actually was WWE's way of getting rid of the big gold belt. They've also ordered new plates for all WWE titles as the new logo is coming the night after SummerSlam.
|
I did hear that news about the new plates today, along with the logo news, but not the Flair thing.
I guess we'll see if the Flair thing is true tonight when Cena makes his way to the ring with one or two titles. |
Also, when the new logo is made permanent after SummerSlam, I wonder if they'll replace the giant WWE logo that's on the stage, or just get rid of it completely.
|
Two really weird ideas I had:
1. There is only one compelling feud for Adam Rose that I can come up with right now. And that involves them turning the rabbit. Not the guy in the rabbit suit. I mean have actual matches between the Rabbit and Adam Rose. 2. Have Prince Devitt debut whenever. After this debut, have ominous segments talking about how "We Destroyed Japan, and we're coming for WWE..." Then, as a way to permanently put an end to the Rosebuds, have them face Prince Devitt and mystery partners. Out comes... the Bullet Club. Mainly give the Bullet Club a brief WWE run, and one last hurrah for AJ. End of the run comes with a blow-off against a returning Wade Barrett (who's a face) and a team of his choice. Naturally, he chooses the Nexus. It then leads to a formal Devitt-Barrett feud. |

I suppose if she's a big enough bitch on their bullshit crossover reality show they don't vote her off the island that is WWE programming, but yeah, if she is the drizzling shits in the ring... why go there? There are far better looking women than her who are at least halfway decent between the ropes (except Charlotte. Incredible athlete, but she unfortunately looks exactly like her dad in his prime but taller. Nattie doesn't look nearly as much like Anvil as Charlotte favors Ric.). Eva botches more than Sin Cara #1, and has no mask (well, not counting all the caked on makeup as a mask) or mood lighting. Kelly Kelly is better and she was fucking abysmal. I'm surprised she hasn't Jack Swagger'd anyone yet. Even herself. She makes everyone in the ring look that much worse, and I'm including the ref. But more to the point, "looking good" over "ability" is one of the reasons why women's wrestling can't get over. You get a decent, watchable match out of a couple guys, then to women get in the ring that can barely arm drag and if you don't get up to piss you're only watching hoping for a nip slip. People have fond memories of Trish and Lita for reasons other than masturbation fodder. They could actually (and were able to) put on matches that were fucking watchable ON TOP OF them being something decent to look at. WWE can relegate the non-working bitches to arm charms, and they elect not to. I guess especially now that there is already Lana, they don't want to "confuse" people by having more than one female heel manager. Give the women who can work time to work, ship the rest down to NXT or give them other shit to do. WWE can step the game up, TNA proved that a few years ago, they just don't seem to want to. |
So stupid that they're making KENTA change his moveset. Losing the Go2Sleep because you think your fans will just forget that CM Punk worked there, whatever, fine.
But he should keep the running knee and yes lock, as it creates a story for him, and gives him the perfect set up for a feud with Bryan once he comes back. KENTA can be all pissed and claim that Bryan owes all his succes to his stolen moveset. It fucking writes itself. |
I don't find Eva Marie all that hot (not by diva standards at least) but that's irrelevant. If I found her to be a 10, I'd say that's a reason to keep her on TV... just not a reason for her to wrestle. Have her stand in someone's corner or on camera in backstage segments and look pretty. Don't put her in the ring to move around awkwardly and sell like she's never seen a wrestling match in their life. It actually makes her less hot when she gets in the ring and performs like a retard. I am actually turned off by how dumb she looks in a wrestling match.

Also, on Eva Marie, I really don't find her attractive at all. She reminds me of one of those slags you see on Geordie Shore, and in some studio shots of her, she looks like she used to be a guy. Like a post-op transsexual.
It just boggles my mind why she keeps being given televised matches when she's clearly not ready. It must be some sort of rib, or maybe Kevin Dunn thinks he has a chance with her if he keeps giving her TV time. It's quite obvious that she has absolutely no idea what she's doing when she's in the ring, but to her credit, you can see that she's trying. I think maybe a year in NXT would do her the world of good, and during her stay there, she can learn more than just how to wrestle. She can also learn some history, as I get the feeling she has no clue about anything historical about wrestling other than Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, The Rock and maybe Stone Cold Steve Austin. |

TNA must be kicking themselves. |

I had a nap today and I had a weird dream that Heyman's Plan C was actually CM Punk.
He returned tonight and the crowd went crazy, and he came out with a new theme and he was wearing a bunch of new CM Punk merchandise. T-Shirt, Hoodie, Beanie/Skully/whatever you want to call it and so on. He then spoke about he had us all fooled into thinking that he had left the WWE and retired. |
