Perhaps Geralt will craft some spectre oil to mourn the presence of Triss, plus he left Yennefer in Skellige to complete some side quests/contracts.

Maintaining 3 games: Witcher 3, CoD: WW2 and WWE2K18.

In WWE Universe Mode Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton teamed up as Dudes With Attitude, they are going to feud with the Dangerous Alliance of Tatanka/Lex Luger, then both teams will eventually break off and get their WM moment.

Going to create a "Born Again Christian" that will DELETE the "Sinnah"

Heisenberg 12-19-2017 11:48 AM

Poland knows RPGs, they just got added to the list whenever I return to Europe correctly instead of being laid up at the airport in Germany or Cypress

She left on a ship with them and the guy that runs the bathhouse got pissed at me for not convincing her to stay. We kissed at a party, but I'm booking this one towards Yennefer's way.

If anyone knows about fighting ghosts in this one, would the Specter Oil suffice for all wraiths/ghost apparations I get put in a contract with?

When fighting wraiths of any description, you generally need to be using the yrden sign.

Destor 12-19-2017 12:55 PM

Yup. Yarden and then just hold your ground.

Destor 12-19-2017 12:55 PM

I like to strafe around the sigil but i went full Cat so I was nimble enough to force ghosts to stay inside it pretty easily.

Heisenberg 12-19-2017 01:59 PM

OOOOOOooohHHH!! One more level(17) and my Geralt is going to start that Cat Armor quest. It would help to be more nimble. The second time around I heard that you can do a harder version and that will be the time combat is taken more seriously. The Batman games have been awesome in tying combos together and this system is fun to tinker with.

Emperor Smeat 12-19-2017 04:25 PM

Paper Mario Color Splash.

My nephew got it as an early gift even though he doesn't own a Wii U. Doing the same as with Mario + Rabbids with having my own save file on the side so whenever he gets really stuck, I can easily help him out.

Destor 12-19-2017 04:52 PM

Color splash doesnt deserve the paper mario name

Heisenberg 12-20-2017 01:06 PM

Geralt of Rivia visited the Skellige Isles and was invited to a party with Yennefer, he rode Roach(his horse) into the party and it affected the cut scenes quite a bit. It was glorious.

Yennefer and Geralt did it before going back to the party, they had snuck out to break into someone's lab.

Haven't found it to be bad so far but series itself still peaked with Thousand Year Door.

The writing has pretty much been the only thing that's been consistently great with the series.

Destor 12-20-2017 06:23 PM

The writing in the wii paper mario was excellent but gameplay has been shit since tyd

Ultra Mantis 12-23-2017 04:20 PM

I'm near the part of Persona 3 where they're telling me I'm at the end, which I guess means the real story is about to start.

Emperor Smeat 12-23-2017 07:13 PM

Halo 2. Lots of really questionable and terrible design choices in regards to the campaign.

Also doing nothing to change my mind that ODST was the only reason why I got interested in this series and Reach being the best game in it.

Fignuts 12-23-2017 07:18 PM

Started borderlands 2.

Dunno. Plays well and all, but having the same disinterest in the game world that I had in borderlands 1. Like, it almost seems too barren. I like my post apocalyptic wastelands to have lost of shit everywhere and cool places to explore. So far BL2 has been unimpressive in that regard.

Mad Max gets away with having a whole lot of nothing on the map because the vehicle combat is so god damn fun. But vehicular combat in bl2 is pretty dull.

Probably not going to stick with this. Like 70 games on the backlog, so if one doesn't impress, it gets put on the shelf pretty quick.

Fignuts 12-23-2017 07:19 PM

Also, I don't think a lot of people played mad max because it came out with Fallout 4, but you should definitely give it a shot. Really fun game.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-25-2017 01:06 PM

I don't think I've died so many times in a game as I have in the three hours I have played Dark Souls III; an absolute bastard of a game.

Borderlands 2 got a lot of easter eggs and stuff hidden in the game. But, it's better with a buddy or two for some of the end game bosses. They're on the hard side.

Sepholio 12-26-2017 09:50 PM

LOL the damn near impossible side is more like it.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-27-2017 01:51 PM

Just invaded another person's game on Dark Souls III, and I put them to the sword. Glorious!

Hopefully next Steam sale will be friendly towards the Dark Souls games. It's a series that I put off just like the Witcher and have hated myself for it

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-27-2017 04:13 PM

Dark Souls III currently has 75% off; it is just the DLCs that are not on sale.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-27-2017 05:16 PM

Ahhhh, some unworthy knave thought to invade my world; he/she too felt the sweet kiss of my blade.

Once you come to terms with the fact that you will die a lot, and have to constantly grind, I find the need to continue playing becomes stronger and stronger.

Dark Souls III does not touch Witcher 3, though.

Definitely get the first one on PC. Looks way better, and there are massive framerate issues on console.

Actually restarted the game on PC after getting to blight town on console.

Also, pc version comes with the dlc, which is honestly some of the best DLC ever, for any game. Has one of my favorite boss fights of all time.

Yeah, a lot of people quit dark souls right away because of the difficulty, but if you stick with it just long enough to get a real understanding of the combat and the strategy around it, you'll get hooked.

There is no other series, not even the witcher, where every fight is as tense as it is in dark souls. Though that is something that could be a turn off for some people.

Fignuts 12-27-2017 05:27 PM

People who play video games while drinking from their pink tea cup of pussy juice, that is.

My Final Heaven 12-27-2017 06:54 PM

Playing Metal Gear Solid 3 HD on Vita, just reached The End bossfight. I'm going to try to hold him up for his camo + stamina kill him for his rifle, jacking all his shit in one go is a bitch to do :-\

Fignuts 12-27-2017 10:32 PM

Back into Ghost Recon Wildlands. Something about it is just addicting to me despite its typical repetetive ubisoft nature.

ClockShot 12-28-2017 01:38 PM

Still at Destiny 2.

Finished Abzu. Bought Submerged on the PSN Store for a couple bucks. Going to fire that up today or tomorrow.

All in all, passing time until Monster Hunter comes out.

Ruien 12-28-2017 04:28 PM

Finished Sonic Mania. Took forever because I only played it every now and then when I work at home. Last 2 stages and last boss were brutal compared to the rest of the game.

Fignuts 12-28-2017 04:34 PM

Going through all the edits I dlwnloaded in fire pro and tweaking them to fit my own guidelines and parameters, in preparation for the Fire Promoter release.

Jordan 12-29-2017 12:04 AM

I recently bought an Xbox One X and am loving it. I got it used for $250.

I have been playing The Witcher 3 and I enjoy it and I don't. While I love Skyrim, and this game is similar in ways, I feel so unfocused within the massive world. I'm level 11 and bored, don't know anything about alchemy or building armor/weapons. I'm hoping to come back to this game at some point in the future. I got it for $20 on Black Friday, digital.

I just downloaded "This War of Mine: The Little Ones" and I am blown away, totally invested, and even though it's a very serious setting, I have a lot of fun playing it.

Metal Gear Solid V. Wow this is awesome, just downloaded it the other day and I play mission by mission, really good... certain elements remind me of Witcher 3 but elevated. I can tell this is gonna be good, and probably really hard.

Metro 2033 & Lasy Light Redux ... this is really hard but awesome. I got it for like $8.

Games that I've downloaded for free or really cheap but haven't gotten into much...

Path of Exile - Seems really cool but stars very slow, would love a good introduction to this game because it has so many layers. Also the text is really small on my screen and that makes all the leveling up and the like really difficult to comprehend.

The Evil Within - Game is really fucking scary, I don't really even ever want to play it because its so scary, kind of hard too, but mostly just don't want to play this at night. Scary.

Sunset Overdive - Really fun, just kind of lost interest even though I know it's quite a massive game. Seemed to lose focus.

Saints Row Gat Out of Hell - I got this for free on Game Pass, but I don't know if its the best way to start this series.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided - Haven't started yet, came for free with the X-Box.

Doom - Gift, haven't played yet.

Heisenberg 12-29-2017 10:02 AM

It took me 3 tries over the span of 2 years to get into the Witcher 3, come back to W3 when you are ready. It'll be there

Danny Electric 12-29-2017 12:37 PM

Currently playing Injustice 2.

Jordan 12-29-2017 01:49 PM

It's odd to me that in MGSV you get credits between missions. Am I supposed to replay these until I get a really high score that I'm "satisfied" with?

Ultra Mantis 12-29-2017 03:30 PM

Gonna get to Witcher 3 eventually, it's been on my list for a while. Still going with P3 for now.

Spoiler tag for Destor's sake.

SPOILER: show
The real story has indeed started, and it's late game when a popular new transfer student suddenly shows up and immediately is accepted into the friendship group. I swear this dickhead is going to double cross me. Scarf wearing piece of shit.

Probably just going to get Persona 4 on PS2 because I don't want to get a vita just for one game. Dunno though, will have to cross that bridge when I come to it in a few months.

You're supposed to replay them for the GMP to purchase upgrades, fulton more soldiers or I guess go for S-Ranks. The credits every 30 minutes gimmick is because Kojima wanted to replicate binge watching a TV show and it's completely unnecessary and annoying.

Destor 12-29-2017 03:38 PM

I should beat AC: O tonight or tomrrow... should go into P3 next....LoZ:BotW DLC is tempting me a bit to do it first...I dunno.

Destor 12-29-2017 03:38 PM

MGS5 was hot garbage

Ultra Mantis 12-29-2017 03:48 PM

P3 takes a while to get going (social links and story are very slow to start) so if you're hearing the call of the wild I'd definitely do that first, or at least make a start on it and alternate between the two.
