Probably a safe bet Royal Rumble is going 4+ hours as well next year to complete the Big 4 or co-brand ppvs getting special treatment.

4 hour ppvs, 3 hour shows, why bother stopping at all?

just have the guys rotate in the ring.

Simple Fan 09-26-2016 05:43 PM

I'd be fine with it as well. Maybe some of the veterans that turned them down would be interested in a Royal Rymbke spot at least.

If the Rumble is 4 hours they should totally do separate rumbles for RAW and SD. Or not because thats be a rare co mingling opportunity for both brands.

Maybe go to 40 though.

Fignuts 09-27-2016 02:08 AM

Yeah, part of the intrigue of the rumble during the brand split, was the fact that the winner could challenge for either title. 2 rumbles would take that away, along with the afformentioned crossover potential.

Fully expecting the Shield to reunite during the match, now that they're all faces.

Droford 09-27-2016 02:51 AM

How are you going to fill the other 3 hours of the Rumble. Its bad enough now at 2. Can't have many people pulling double duty. You could have 2 title matches and 2 women's matches maybe. Maybe its be a good time for an hour Iron Man match..

Was a deep promo. Almost makes you think he's about done with wrestling. Still think he could go a few more years though. Would really like to see him and Kaz have a run in the WWE though befor hes done.

GD 09-27-2016 01:43 PM

Hope the WWE gives the Cruiserweight Division some more time to "settle in". Competing in front of "hardcore" audience is so different when compared to the "mainstream" audience that watches Monday Night RAW.

Even if it's just for a cup of coffee in NXT, Daniels deserves to have a WWE paycheck before he hangs it up

Sixx 09-27-2016 03:12 PM

who's that bald guy in the video?

mike adamle 09-27-2016 03:14 PM

Christopher Daniels

If they did a tag tournament like the CWC the Addiction would be great for it. AJ put them over big during his Stone Cold podcast. Think the Dusty Rhodes Classic should use that format but think it will just be NXT teams.

why would he ever wear that

Simple Fan 09-27-2016 03:29 PM

Yeah he is Curry Man. Used it as a comedy gimmick.

Simple Fan 09-27-2016 03:34 PM

Just learned he was Dos from the Los Conquistadors during the Hardys/E&C feud.

That was glorious.

Rammsteinmad 09-27-2016 05:01 PM

I'm excited for the cruiserweight division, not a fan of the "mood lighting" and how they make it all appear so CWC on Raw, especially when they're being ordered to shake hands and the whole raising the victor's hand etc. Hopefully once they're a bit settled they'll just nicely integrate with the main roster. Could see Neville and Neese having some great matches or making a great team.

Emperor Smeat 09-27-2016 05:04 PM

According to the Observer, WWE getting interested in buying TNA again is due to Billy Corbin's bid to buy the company taking longer than expected.

TNA basically needs money now to continue tapings or else they have to shut down a bit and any official move by Corbin to buy the company will still need weeks work of official paperwork done.

Making things a bit worse for TNA and Corbin is supposedly ppv providers are not taking orders for the upcoming ppv since they are unsure if it will even happen.

Simple Fan 09-27-2016 05:09 PM

Cruiserweight division just seems weired to me really how they are presenting them. Don't like that they change everything to purple for their matches. Also the hand shaking and hand raising was fine in the CWC but on Raw it just feels out of place. Also feels weird that they brought back the cruiserweight division and the Universal title doesnt seem to be a heavyweight title.

Emperor Smeat 09-27-2016 05:33 PM

Think the problem is like with NXT, WWE puts in little real effort and just assumes everyone watched the CWC or word of mouth is enough to spread the hype for the Cruiser division.

They've done a good job with the hype videos but right now it only feels special because the WWE says so and not because it was gradually built that way.

Unrelated, the ROH stuff with Sullivan/Whitmer/Corino/etc. is fucking garbage. Has Kevin Sullivan ever done anything good?

His feud with Steven Richards when the matches went to the camode as Dusty Rhodes would say if you wheeel.

Main Event spoilers:

SPOILER: show
Kane pinned Baron Corbin. Do you think the romance is over?

Mr. Nerfect 09-28-2016 01:46 AM

I've seen things I like in Baron Corbin. He seems to get certain aspects of the business. He doesn't have much by way of charisma, or even this "presence" they like to talk about though. He's absolutely dreadful on the mic too.

You obviously can't do the same gimmick, but this a guy who could desperately use some sort of Undertaker-esque dressing. I don't know what his thing is, but if they can tap into the things that he's got that what he doesn't completely erodes, they might have someone they can plug into main events without as many people groaning.

Droford 09-28-2016 01:47 AM

TNA invasion storyline

Complete with the return of the Main Event Mafia minus Scott Steiner

“We advise that people use moderation and only drink some of it in, man.”

With jerichoholism on the rise, there has been a simultaneously upswing in the membership of Jerichoholics Anonymous (JerAnon), which offers a 12-step recovery program:

Step One: Admit you are powerless over jerichohol (and, in some cases, Kevinopiates)
Step Two: Submit to a higher power (Vince McMahon)
Step Three: Make a list of the 1,004 ways jerichohol has a hold on you
Step Four: Armbar
Step Five: Make a list of grievances and air them publicly
Step Six: Avoid filthy, dirty, disgusting, skanky, brutal, bottom-feeding, trash bag hos
Step Seven: Armbar
Step Eight: “Put over” those younger than yourself
Step Nine: When you encounter barriers to your sobriety, break the walls down
Step Ten: Armbar
Step Eleven: Moss-covered, three-handled family grudunzle
Step Twelve: Promise yourself that you’ll never, evvvvvvverrrr, drink it in to excess agayn

I fucking love the End of Days, and the different ways he gets people into it. His entrance is badass too.

Unfortunately everything else needs a lot of work.
