And I obviously know that Super V is better than me. We've played already, and I'm sure I didn't see everything because he played with a different character every single match.

I'm pretty sure this IS gonna be a tough ass fight for me than Roxer really thinks (you 2 I believe and thecc were the only TPWWers I got some practice in against). You took a few fights last time and it's a little known fact that charge characters give me difficulty. Seein your line-up in the last round this is gonna be a 2nd round match worthy of seeing. I'm sure we'll be givin these TPWWers a show on YouTube. :cool:

I had some terrible games against G3-As tonight. Only one was better than his ranking seemed (a sick-ass Balrog), and some were terrrrrrible but I still lost. Rather be off tonight than whenever I lose to Super V.

Fight 1:

Vega(KxD) vs Honda(tcc)

My first fight in ages pretty much went as expected. My timing was off, and I'm trying to throw with BLAZBLUE COMBINATIONS. thecc's Honda took advantage and slapped me around literally. My expectations for myself dwindled.

Thecc wins, 3-1.

Fight 2:

Sakura(KxD) vs Ryu(tcc)

I knew my Sakura was gonna be a major force, and I needed something to bring my hopes up. Fortunately, Ryu's are my favorite prey for Sakura. I played the distance and let thecc toss away with the fireballs. I was patient and let him make the missteps. One round saw me choke hard, but I relented. I was happy he wasn't privy to some of Ryu's dirtier tricks.

Kalyx wins, 3-1.

Fight 3:

Vega(KxD) vs Bison(tcc)

I usually have issues with Bison, and my Vega gave me bad tastes in my mouth - I was worried. I actually played out of fear, begging for Bison to leap at me. I get the feeling thecc isn't too strong with Bison, so maybe this was his chance to exorcise a weak link. Thank God.

Kalyx wins, 3-1.

Fight 4:

Sakura(KxD) vs Ken(tcc)

If Ryu is prey to Sakura, Ken is her bitch. I smiled at this one. Although, thecc was becoming knowledgeable of my exploits at this point. Unfortunately Ken was not the character to start getting his act together with. This match was strictly a frame game, he couldn't keep up.

Fight 5:

Ken(KxD) vs Ryu(tcc)

This match was kinda hype, but mostly because I was taking risks like a motherfucker. I was completely expecting to lose this one, because Ken's a fucking tool. Yet... well... I guess thecc lost his fire or whatever. My stunts paid off when they shouldn't have. His Ryu could have done better against my worst character (whom I retired mostly, he's in cause I needed four). I was half hoping he'd beat his ass so I can send in Killer Bee herself, but Ken took the series home.

Good series, and I felt energized. Back in the spirit, I say. Feeling pumped for round three! Nice fights, thecc, you put me in the mood to fight!

Watching the EVO Semis and Finals was a blast. So many good matches over and over.

Heard Daigo vs J.Wong was hype-gasm.

It was awesome. Almost went down to the absolute last match. J.Wong played a basic Balrog and almost almost beat Daigo. The first best of five came down to the fucking wire.

I most enjoyed watching this guy Juicebox's Abel. He got fucked up easily later by a good Dhalsim, but fucking destroyed some guys. Most impressive Abel I've seen.

No Sagats or Seths in the Final 8 either. Three people playing Akumas though I believe.

Akumas life bar is such a hinderance he's actually well balanced for the first time ever in a SF game.

I have no motivation to play this anymore, for some reason. Can't get into it at all.

I get so so so so many disconnects in Championship Mode. My god its terrible. Everybody must be downloading too many bittorrent files while they are playing or something.

Come on, son. We're trying to get this done by Wednesday and I don't want you forfeiting or getting a double DQ or whatever.

I honestly probably wont be able to finish out the whole bracket. My TV has to be packed up within the week, and I won't be able to unpack it I imagine for at least a few weeks. Moving into a new place and going out of town for training will makes things pretty impossible.

Blitz defeats G 4-3.

Round 1: Cammy/Sakura: I got perfected 2nd round but did fine otherwise. 3-1. This sorta set the tone for our series, as I continuously jumped/Spiral Arrowed into Ultras/supers.

Round 2: Cammy/Ken: Spiral arrow into supers means 3-1 Ken.

Round 3: Ken/Akuma: Usually I can avoid the Raging Demon no prob, but not here. 3-0 Akuma.

Round 4: Ryu/Akuma: Played much more disciplined. Avoided the Demon and took it 3-0.

Round 5: Ryu/Ryu: Hadouken fest on both sides. We traded rounds but I succumbed to another Ultra in the final round.

Round 6: Ken/ Fei Long: Not much to say here, I won 3-0

Round 7: Fei Long/Zangief: Fei's quickness was too much for 'Gief. Lost the first round but otherwise dominated with jump ins and Shienkyakus.



Good fights. I feel like we're pretty well matched.

Not gonna recap since Kalyx did an awesome job at it. Even though I lost I feel really motivated to play now. Gonna jam to Reign Supreme whenever I play though.

I lost to Super V 4-2. Had a d/c in match 3 that we ended up playing over because my CAT5 popped out of my 360 since its currently taped on. I was close on a number of matches, and am very proud of my play. Especially a few timely Ultras that he left open. And he taped the matches so you'll get to pick me and him apart.

Let me see if I can remember enough to recap

Match 1: Balrog v. Rufus

I was handled pretty easily in this one. Trying to get me with Dive Kick crossups that I was blocking pretty well, but I just didn't have much of an answer. Remember I called an early Ultra in hopes the chip would be close enough to finish him but I estimated incorrectly.

Match 2: Bison v. Abel

Probably my best match. After some initial struggle I found that he didn't have much of an answer for me punishing him with normals.

Match 3: Guile v. Dan

He was up 2-0 at the d/c, but insisted that we start from the beginning because shit happens. I won a few close ones that I probably shouldn't have and ended up winning 3-2 if I remember correctly. I'm pretty scared of his Dan after playing it numerous times.

Match 4: Cammy v. Zangief

I threw Cammy out there just so I didn't get stuck in game 7 with her. I actually managed to play her really terrible and give him a run for his money. Constant Spike misses resulted in many a powerbomb, however. Basically just did jump-ins with the occasional Spike anti-air. Just made too many mistakes to be able to win.

Match 5: Guile v. Rufus

Decimation. He was warmed up with Rufus at this point, and I couldn't remember Guile's anti-air normal. Can't remember much else.

Match 6: Bison v. Balrog

I played him close, but if he got damage on me he got it good. He perfected me one match, but I pulled a perfect Ultra that I was baiting him into one round. Will look forward to seeing that on video. Might have been able to pull this one out on another day.

Match 1 'll be up shortly. My camera's battery died durin that last fight (arrgh!). Gonna try to have em all up by Wednesday the latest. Hopefully my comments durin the fights aren't too annoying (couldn't help myself). lol

Oh but I did get that Ultra you caught me with. I'll up it regardless. That Ultra left me almost speechless.

I hit a good Ultra in the Dan match too that I just remembered. I always feel impressive pulling Guile's or Vega's with perfect timing. I feel like most people don't expect Guile players to use the Ultra that much since it isn't exactly amazing or anything.

After the Guile vs. Dan match I was pretty worried you were gonna take the series. I don't fight too many good Guile players. Pretty good recap. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Minus that ridiculous Youtube Guile combo video I haven't seen many good ones either. I have to say once I can effectively use his air grab and get a few good combos, I will enjoy playing him a lot.

Balrog needs plenty of work...I just can't pull things when I want to. In our first match I caught you with a Buffalo that was an obvious setup for Ultra, but I just haven't been able to pull in off in practice correctly. It would have won me the match, if I remember.

Would you prefer I upload them after the tournament? I forgot it is double elimination and you still have matches.

I could care less, honestly. I welcome all chances to make me a better player. I don't think I'm too predictable most of the time anyway. (Except with Guile and those stupid easy blockable Flash Kicks)

I'm really excited about you posting all of them. Its really awesome to be able to go back and look at what I did right and wrong. Mostly mad about that missed Buffalo-Ultra setup. But I lost some close ones, and did get a little too comfortable there in the middle.
