You know in the unlikely event that AEW and WWE ever did form some kind of working relationship this gimmick you just pitched would be an awesome gateway to it. Have Jericho in AEW working through names on his list and making up with them and then one day at the close of a show he looks at the list and the next name up is Vincent Kennedy McMahon as the camera fades.

Figured maybe they'd hit low 900k as best case scenario prior to NXT's numbers coming out and then maybe mid 800k range after NXT had a much smaller boost than I was expecting (NXT actually went down if you factor in Peacock viewers).

It's a good thing they put on a mostly good show, minus a bit of overbooking. Will be curious to hear the quarter hour breakdowns.

Well as predicted by Slik and others the ratings for both shows went up a lot. Turns out it was a good move for NXT to tuck tail to Tuesdays. At least they can say they are the number one show on Tuesdays.
