The “Stockholm Syndrome” thing has been going on for weeks with Indi :wtf:

I somehow managed to forget she's been teasing a romantic relationship with Lumis for the past few weeks. The whole thing still felt a bit weird when it actually happened since USA had been advertising a serial killers documentary series throughout the show.

I also pretty much zone out whenever The Way have segments on NXT these days since I haven't been that fond or interested in the group. Maybe the one thing on NXT I've like the least these past few months outside of Devlin showing up.

Sarray vs. Zoey Stark should be good.

Wonder how many more big losses Stark can afford before it starts to impact her potential star rise since outside of her beating Toni Storm, she's lost to every other big name she's faced and almost all of her matches in general on the brand. Even her win against Storm didn't feel that impactful because NXT sort of dropped the ball with Storm's return.

:lol: at LA Knight crotching himself on the ring pole when he tried to squirm away from Lumis.

Either Indi Hartwell legit tripped or she just pulled a Mandy/Nia at ringside.

LA Knight vs. Dexter Lumis was somewhat boring. Those two don't really fit in NXT in terms of their style of ring work.

Show's almost half over but its been sort of lacking the energy NXT usually has with their shows.

Not sure if its due to the recent COVID outbreak WWE had or just a typical filler episode they do every so often but this time a lot quicker after a TakeOver show.

Zoey Stark vs. Sarray was pretty good and a nice debut showcase for Sarray.

:lol: at Toni Storm's post-match beatdown of Stark ended up somewhat overshadowing Sarray's debut win moment.

Sort of hope NXT has some major plans for KUSHIDA soon since him leaving NJPW over being upset at not getting to turn heel and being stuck in the Jrs division only to then be stuck mostly in the low mid-card and win the Cruiser title in NXT still is a bit funny.

KUSHIDA pulling a Riddle by not wrestling in boots now.

KUSHIDA vs. Oney Lorcan was pretty good, especially the latter half.

Back-to-back shows this week by WWE where they had a tag match that was entirely meaningless because of outside distraction stuff by a third team.

At least in NXT's case, the team that got distracted (Imperium) still won their match since it was just a squash.

Kyle O'Reilly vs. Cameron Grimes was very good.

This week's show was mostly entertaining and way better than last night's dump of a show from RAW. Best parts from tonight were the Zoey Stark vs. Sarray match and the main event match.

2 weeks into the move to Tuesdays and the biggest change is NXT feels less energetic now than during their war with AEW. Not entirely sure if its due to WWE's recent COVID outbreak or them just taking their foot off the gas for shows. NXT right now feels more like what it was prior to the move to USA Network and getting an extra hour where the shows were enjoyable and easy to sit through but not necessarily something you had to catch if you missed it.

I'd still rank NXT ahead of SD in terms of best weekly shows from WWE but now with a much smaller gap.

Between that and the orange and white gear, I'm guessing it's a heavy Kazushi Sakuraba influence.

WWE somehow messed up or forgot to change the view permissions for the show preview page.

Yikes at ugly looking counter spot by Mercedes Martinez.

Either she didn't duck low enough for Dakota's leap or Dakota didn't jump high enough since Mercedes clipped her leg on the way down. Could have been a potential blown knee in terms of worst case scenario from the rough landing.

:| at Mercedes vs. Dakota ending via DQ. Match was mostly fine but also a bit too slow in pacing.

Guess that cements Raquel as fully heel again since she was oddly swaying back and forth between acting like a heel and face the couple weeks prior.

Dakota is so tiny, I blame that on Martinez not getting low enough.

Feels like James Drake has spoken way more on the mic this past month in NXT than the rest of Grizzled Young Vets time in regular NXT combined.

He used to never speak during their stay in NXT UK and for a long while in NXT as well since Zack Gibson did all the talking for the team.

Think Zayda Ramier legit forgot what to do for a spot since that was a really awkward looking delay when she went to go attack Toni Storm.

Zayda's Shooting Star Press looked cool though.

Wonder who Storm pissed off backstage to be treated like an afterthought since her return to NXT.

Sort of hope this 2nd hour is a lot more lively or energetic since that first hour wasn't RAW-like boring but felt very filler-like or flat overall.

Think Triple H & co. went a bit too hard on going back to original WWE Network era mentality for NXT shows without completely factoring in the extra hour since something has felt very off with these Tuesday shows.

Guess you can say "hussies" on a PG rated show since Candice just did a moment ago when she insulted Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart.

Didn't get enough momentum to clotheslines Barthel and instead just smacked him on the top of his head.

Imperium vs. Drake Maverick & Killian Dain was pretty good.

Well that Women's Tag title match was a big pile of nothing.

Guess either KISHIDA has smelly feet or someone in NXT decided to drop the idea of him wresting bare foot since he's back to wearing boots again.

Legado Del Fantasma vs. MSK vs. KUSHIDA was very good although think KUSHIDA botched the timing of his return to the ring from his "injury" rest break since that finish had an odd delay. Then again could have been Legado's fault since Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde hesitated a bit much with the timing of their finishing spot after Santos knocked out KUSHIDA.

This week's show was fine overall. Last 30+ minutes were really good while the rest of the show was more skippable than not.

Ouch at Leon Ruff just getting chucked hard onto the apron and the nasty landing on his head.

Isiah Scott chucked him like he was a bag of trash going into a dumpster

Wonder what Ruff did to piss off Scott in the back since he just had a hammer thrown almost right at his back.

Ruff vs. Scott Falls Count Anywhere match was very good despite the shenanigans at the end.

Also Scott became the newest guy to have his very own bodyguard in WWE. First it was Styles on RAW, then Apollo Crews on SD, and now him on NXT.

Isnt that the dude from the treasure hunting show?? Lol
