WWE.com has a poll up.

I don't know why the Cruiserweight Championship is an option, as it's already been announced that the Cruiserweight Division is returning, so it's quite obvious that the championship will be returning too.

Anyway, right now, The Hardcore Championship is winning.

47% - Hardcore Championship

9% - European Championship

20% - Cruiserweight Championship

10% - World Tag Team Championship

15% - Women's Tag Team Championship

Black Widow 08-01-2016 11:36 AM

Hardcore Title was cool and wouldn't mind it returning.

Cool King 08-01-2016 11:42 AM

If it does return, I get the feeling it'll be renamed as either the "Extreme Championship" or the "Extreme Rules Championship".

Vastardikai 08-01-2016 12:22 PM

If we get the Hardcore Title again, it needs to be defended 24 hours. And at least one blanket needs a title reign.

Until then, enjoy the DDT Pro Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship

Also, Teddy Hart is right! Trampoline should be available ringside all the time!!

Simple Fan 08-01-2016 02:18 PM

Really would hate to see the Hardcore Championship return. I have no faith in WWE doing it right so no reason to do it at all. Much rather see the European Championship return. Why are the World Tag Team Championships a option?

GD 08-01-2016 02:44 PM

I had a weird dream last evening where the physical Hardcore Championship was reintroduced as the European Championship.

Cool King 08-01-2016 02:45 PM

A lot of people seem to want the European Championship to return but I really don't understand why.

What purpose would it serve if it did return?

We've already got two mid-card/secondary championships, why would we need a third?

Cool King 08-01-2016 02:45 PM

Unless, if it did return, it would be a title that "lower-card" talent chase, but the European Championship is better than that.

Emperor Smeat 08-01-2016 03:55 PM

Wasn't the Euro belt always a lower tier status belt outside of a few occasions?

IC was the real mid-card or upper mid-card belt when those two belts were around. US belt pretty much replaced the Euro belt during the first brand split era and was only seen as equal to the IC belt due to split reasons and how badly the IC belt weakened over time.

Maybe.

To me anyway, the European Championship was always on the same level as the Intercontinental Championship, as in it was a mid-card title.

That view, to me, was confirmed on two occasions when the title was unified with the Intercontinental Championship in 2002 and then again a year later when the United States Championship was revived and treated in pretty much the same way as the Intercontinental Championship.

Cool King 08-01-2016 06:58 PM

When you think about it, the European Championship was basically just replaced with the United States Championship. Most probably because the US Title had more prestige than the European Championship.

Shadrick 08-01-2016 07:47 PM

I would LOVE to see the Hardcore championship return. Imagine a random backstage segment with Miz being a heel, talkin his normal promo, then Kevin Owens sneaks up and NAILS him, and pins him, then scurries away as the new champ. lmaooo i used to love that shit.

Emperor Smeat 08-01-2016 07:52 PM

According to reports, Lilian Garcia has left the WWE with the reason related to her father's declining health.

Simple Fan 08-01-2016 07:53 PM

Kevin Owens and Miz are way above the Hardcore Championship. The 24 hours rule was good but it made that title a joke. Just don't see the Hardcore Championship fitting into the WWE today.

owenbrown 08-01-2016 07:59 PM

Al Snow, European Champion :y:

GD 08-02-2016 01:10 AM

I don't care for the reintroduction of the European, Hardcore, or even the Cruiserweight Championship. Although the name of the new world heavyweight championship on RAW isn't that good, I'm glad that the WWE is trying to innovate and come up with new ideas rather than relying on past glory.

With the Cruiserweight Division coming to the RAW roster, the reintroduction of the WCW/WWF/WWE Cruiserweight Championship (of the World) would be futile as the strap had a weight limit of 220 lbs. The new 205 lbs. limit will cause "discrepancy" in the lineage and create unnecessary confusion. I'd rather see a creation of a brand new championship, while exclusive to the cruiserweights, not having the "cruiserweight branding" on the actual belt and name. Something similar to TNA's X-Division Championship - the WWE Elite Championship.

Damian Rey 2.0 08-02-2016 02:28 AM

How about junior heavyweight title

Yes ladies and gentleman I am back after a brief hiatus.

So I've just found out that Hacksaw Jim Duggan is here in Dundee today and that Cody Rhodes will be coming here in December.

I'll definitely be going to see Cody.

Cool King 08-02-2016 12:05 PM

It just sucks that the event that Cody will be appearing at will be taking place in a small community centre in what is probably the most unsavory part of town.

Plus, it'll be in December, so it'll be dark and pretty damn cold and Cody will most probably leave here thinking this city is a dump.

I really don't know why the local indy guys didn't just wait and have Cody's appearance be at their biggest event which takes place during Summer in the city's auditorium in the centre of town.

It's so much nicer than the shithole he'll be appearing at.

Many a man have thought the same thing.

Bring a sign that says "Despite appearances, our city is not a dump" so he knows

I wouldn't mind a new WWE branded junior heavyweight title.
