Was just thinking about WrestleMania, and I think I like the idea of Cody/Roman actually being on night 1. There’s something about it that just hangs an aura of change on night 2 and throws things into a new light. Zayn & Owens can go for the Tag Titles in the Sunday main event. It’ll make everything seem more “dangerous” and it will give the fans that want to cheer Zayn that feeling that he’s getting the “traditional” main event spot.

Additional drama: Owens & Zayn win the tag belts. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa hit the ring afterwards and beat the shit out of them. Cody makes the save and then he starts falling to the numbers. The glass shatters and Steve Austin makes his way out. An impromptu 8-man tag closes Mania.

Austin can also be on night 1 and give Stunners to both Miz and LA Knight who argue about who best represents Hollywood in the WWE. Miz can do his hosting duties on night 2 with a neckbrace.

Let these shows feed and inform each other.

I'd like to see the Simon Dean gimmick or something similar to it make a comeback.

I think Simon Dean was a gimmick that came along at just the wrong time - it was too late for that kind of 1980s TV fitness instructor to feel relevant, and he was doing it at a time when the trend in the broader WWE was (at the main event level, at least) more towards more realistic characters.

But a smug fitness instructor today, updated to be more of a TikTok/Instagram fitness influencer? That would be gold.

In today's world couldn't get away with "body shaming" fans in the crowd until they cried.

He was sooooooooo fucking great in that gimmick. Those vignettes he did were fantastic.

Feel like Chad Gable would be a good fit for this.

Mike Bucci was really fun to watch in the ring. Simon Dean was okay. Funny stuff that just wasn’t going to go far up the card. What gets me is the sense of entitlement some of these fans have, like they're fucking owed what they're asking for.

Seems to be a bit of a reseller thing atm. I cannot fathom the idea of chasing someone to get a autograph simply to sell. It just seems scummy to me. Like one or two items personally you may onsell one day as a fan sure, the photo of the guy confronting Rey Mysterio with 20+ items is crazy to me.

I've got a few autographed items from wrestlers and bands that I would never consider selling. First and foremost, how would I even prove to a potential buyer that it's the real deal? Also, it's a bonus thing on top of what they've already given me that they didn't have to do. They'll forget about me the minute they're done with the exchange, but I'll carry that with me until I've shuffled off this mortal coil. It does seem scummy to try to make money off something like that, especially if you're obtaining it by being an annoying douche. Like, it doesn't seem like they're a fan at all, in my opinion.

I prefer asking for a photo. Not too bothered about autographed things. Certainly not bothered about buying autographed things... it only really means anything to me if I was there and they signed it for me. If it were me being asked, I'd sign one item and personalise it.

But nobody wants my autograph when I'm taking my click and collects out, so I have no experience to draw upon.

I've got quite a few autograph requests after winning back to back King of the Forums.

The fans are generally nice. A few problem ones, but that's the price of fame I guess.

Yeah, personal pictures are definitely more preferred, and it's easier to do with the advent of smartphones. I've been lucky enough to have gotten both on a few occasions. I wish I had been able to get a pic of that time we met Johnny Nitro and Melina at a Denny's after a PPV.

I’m of the opinion that a promotion should have a singles belt for the men, a singles belt for the women and a set of tag team titles. Everything after that is a distraction and keeps guys in place rather than elevate them.

In theory I like the idea of a secondary men's title for RAW/SD, but on Theory it is wasted.

WWE’s belts have history behind them, so you can almost excuse them out of nostalgia. I’d rather just one that floats. But even Gunther feels somewhat trapped by the IC Title. He might feel more important if he were just going into Mania to beat the shit out of Drew and Sheamus. If he won that match, he could go against Cody in the near future. Or Brock. But he kinda has to lose first for those things to open up.

i've always liked the idea of being able to "cash in" a secondary title for a shot at the world title for that reason.
