WWE has a problem with putting one-dimensional talent (who are TREMENDOUS at that one dimension) in situations where they're bound to fail. I don't watch but I'll bet a chunk of money on them doing exactly that with Ronda.

That's the problem with Rousey as a full-timer. Her weaknesses (of which there are many) get really exposed, and her "name value" goes down as people stop associating her with "former MMA baddest woman on the planet" and just see her as another name on the roster.

I am talking about the "spot that broke the internet." Basically, some broad threw her opponent off the balcony, and she barely got her arms up in time when he head hit the apron. Probably the only reason why she didn't die. The girl who did the falling got rolled into the ring and kicked out at two. Not to sound like Cornette, but both girls should be banned from ever wrestling again, the company that featured it should have its license pulled, the promoter beaten with a lead pipe, and the venue should get razed to the ground. |

Just found out a large part of the WWE Network has been integrated into one of our Australian streaming apps. They were just getting Raw and SmackDown and the big PPVs. I went through and now there is basically every WWE PPV ever and all the Raws. From WCW they’ve uploaded all the Great American Bashes and Nitros and the Saturday Nights for a period in the 90s.
I could just get the WWE Network, but I already had this service, so I’m just enjoying the surprise of being able to go back and watch some classic shit. I think I’m going to put myself on a Nitro journey (I’ve never done it properly). There’s also an AWA SuperClash, some EVOLVE stuff and wXw. |

Reading that WCW is going to be featured in WWE 2k23 and seeing the old Nitros uploaded onto Binge over here reignites my crazy pipe-dream that WWE relaunches WCW to run autonomously as an alternative to their programming. There’s no reason you can’t have Coke and Sprite. It will just suck if it is labelled a “brand” and is run just like WWE, with WWE aesthetics and philosophy.
