Dammit! Was looking forward to seeing him kick some ass this year. Vikings were looking better.

Who is the backup? Is it still Shaun Hill?

ClockShot 08-30-2016 09:07 PM

Better talk my boss off the ledge tomorrow at work. Huge Vikings fan.

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-30-2016 09:47 PM

Could be better for them if the shit QB knows it's APs team and they run it All Day.

It's not like this is anything new that niggers have whined about so why did he not say crap when he was starting in the SuperBowl? I mean, there is no bigger or better stage if you want to "raise awareness" for your cause. His PR team probably thought this would be a great way to take focus off his downfall.

Why isn't he out helping in Detroit or Chicago if he is so worried about niggers being oppressed?

A. Adjust your fantasy roster/draft strategy accordingly.

B. Jerry Jones cave in and call Johnny Rehab?

Yes, but instead of Manziel, Jerry actually calls in the fictional Johnny Rehab character from Robocop 3.

NFL cleared three players while another is still under investigation from the Al Jazeera roids report earlier in the year.

Free-agent defensive end Mike Neal is the other player the league interviewed in connection with its investigation into Al-Jazeera report. Neal is still being investigated by the league for a connection with Charlie Sly, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Sly was the Indiana pharmacist at the center of the Al-Jazeera documentary, which aired Dec. 27.

The AFC South can't be that bad

RP 08-31-2016 07:32 PM

No its not. The Texans will be god. I think the Titans are legitimate contenders for the Superbowl. No joke. No one is talking about them.

Ruien 08-31-2016 08:21 PM

RP, Luck will bring us to the promise land. All by himself.

Droford 09-01-2016 07:10 PM

First parlay of the year for tonight

Ravens +5.5
Patriots +2.5
Packers +3.5
Vikings -1.5

So yeah I'm a degenerate gambler

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-01-2016 08:11 PM

pre-season betting seems harder. No way to tell how hard they will play.

Droford 09-01-2016 08:50 PM

Tom Brady played the first half..dudnt help much butvtheyre winning 6-3 half

Saints played all their starters early but same result winning 6-3..ravens getting 5.5 though

I might have messed up on the Vikings though

Watching Ravens and Patriots and listening to Vikings and Packers

Droford 09-01-2016 09:17 PM

1/2 second I thought pats qb last name was Brisket

Hold on there, RP. I'm a Titans fan and even I am not THAT optimistic this year.

Evil Vito 09-03-2016 10:44 AM

Vikings just traded their 2017 first and fourth round picks to the Eagles for Sam Bradford.

Holy shit that's one of the worst panic trades I've ever seen. It also gives the Eagles a first rounder for the draft which will be in Philly next year.

Ruien 09-03-2016 11:13 AM

Lol Vikings.

McLegend 09-03-2016 11:23 AM

Fuck yeah! Best trade ever

Evil Vito 09-03-2016 12:20 PM

Since he came into the league Bradford has a 4th lowest QBR of any QB who has made at least 30 starts. Behind only Gabbert, Henne, and Sanchez.

Could have just traded for Buttfumble for a lot less.

owenbrown 09-03-2016 12:33 PM

woohoo! week 1 win for the Titans :D (they play the Vikings)

Ruien 09-03-2016 12:49 PM

Still need to deal with AP and a nice defense. Plus, you need to give Bradford 2 games before getting hurt. Sorry Owen :(

To be fair I'm pretty sure he's the best QB they could have gotten..

Emperor Smeat 09-03-2016 01:23 PM

Vikings must have a really terrible backup QB if they panicked that hard to get Sam Bradford. Eagles pretty much undid last year's terrible trade to get Bradford with that deal.

Droford 09-03-2016 01:34 PM

Lol the 4th round pick is a 2nd round pick if Bradford plays 80% of snaps AND the Vikings win the SB

Bradford is better than Shaun Hill and undtaftef rookie Joel Stave.

31 is old? Coming off the injury?

I like Buck Allen a lot but I don't think he's capable of being a starter.

ClockShot 09-03-2016 08:27 PM

Broncos cut Ronnie Hillman. Who was a damn good runningback behind C.J. Anderson. Some team will snatch him up quick.

And they wanna trade Aqib Talib, for reasons I do not understand yet.

Because he'll probably end up shooting someone soon.

Anybody think it's dumb that the NFL is suspending Ninkovich of the Patriots 4 games but he was going to miss those games anyway with a torn tricep..the suspension shouldn't start til he's healthy enough to play

So, it's go home then.

Droford 09-05-2016 12:00 AM

I just think it's funny theyd cut him 1 week before without having a kicker on the roster although I know that's plenty of time to bring in one.

Evil Vito 09-05-2016 12:27 PM

The Bears have already signed Connor Barth as a replacement kicker.

Evil Vito 09-05-2016 12:32 PM

Meanwhile the Giants just made a really puzzling move. They released Jasper Brinkley who as of yesterday was scheduled to be their starting middle linebacker AND whose salary this year was fully guaranteed. And they signed QB Josh Johnson.

The Giants like most teams rarely ever carry 3 QBs on their roster to open the year, because you can always sign veteran QBs later in the year if needed and realistically your season is fucked if your starter goes down.

The only theory that would make sense to me is that Brinkley is banged up and wasn't going to suit up this week, so they cut him with the plan of bringing him back next week since they've already guaranteed him his money. Johnson meanwhile is a fast QB who can simulate Dak Prescott in practice.

If it's not that though, I don't get the move at all. Brinkley was one of their only good LBs last year.

Droford 09-08-2016 02:51 AM

First regukar season parlay bet

Broncos +3.5
Jets +2.5

Emperor Smeat 09-08-2016 07:02 PM

Probably not a good sign for Jared Goff's career that Deadspin basically compared him as the next Jamarcus Russell when it comes to possible busts.

Going to be the first QB picked #1 since Russell to not start in Week 1 and Rams don't even have him listed on the depth chart (Rams punter is their 3rd stringer). Even comparisons to QBs picked high and didn't start in Week 1 or their rookie season don't look good for Goff since those teams already had quality vets as starters or purposely did it to groom them into franchise QBs.

For some reference, Russell managed to topple Ryan Leaf as worst ever bust in NFL history.

Evil Vito 09-11-2016 11:40 PM

The Patriots, who were being given 9 points on the road, just pulled out a win against one of the presumptive NFC favorites without their two best players and a massive mismatch on the offensive line via missed a field goal. And the rest of their division lost.

Boy am I sure glad to see that. Boston fans deserve it, nothing ever goes their way.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-12-2016 12:15 AM

And for the most part if it wasn't for a few fumbles by Blount it wouldn't have been that close.

The Arizona game was the toughest one of the 4.
Not to mention it's 3 straight home games vs Miami Houston and Buffalo. Houston is the toughest of them.

Also throwing this in here as a reminder to me my early lean on picks for a parlay are Jets Ravens Bucs and Vikings..
