Because you sold him the drugs?!

Ruien 07-15-2016 07:26 PM

Would be hilarious in a bad way for everyone if he cheated.

WWE suspends Lesnar for 30 days in the next week and he can still face Orton at Summerslam.

WWE's Wellness Policy image is probably going to take a hit if it ends up being true. Either in the fact WWE's testing might too laxed or treated him to different standards people have assumed for a while about certain established stars.

Mr. Nerfect 07-15-2016 08:41 PM

You just have Heyman come out and announce that "Yes, we cheated. I wanted Brock to win and win he did." And never have Brock go to the UFC again. World's greatest heel. Have Heyman reveal himself to be behind Reigns' enhancement too. He has one client on RAW and another on SmackDown. Reigns can go after Cena and Brock can destroy Ambrose or Rollins or whoever.

I've got a feeling that Darren Young is going to win the Intercontinental Title at Battleground.

Nicky Fives 07-16-2016 12:23 AM

USADA test probably much more strict than WWE's..... could just be a tenth of a milligram of difference between the limits. It would hurt WWE's image unless they release exactly what he got dinged for and why their policy allows for it.

Official statement by the WWE regarding Lesnar's failed test ended up being no punishment for Lesnar for failing a drug test and claimed he wasn't working for the WWE when he got busted.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">WWE statement on Lesnar: &quot;Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, August 21.&quot;</p>&mdash; ProWrestling.net (@prowrestlingnet) <a href="https://twitter.com/prowrestlingnet/status/754136423712759808">July 16, 2016</a></blockquote>

On the MMA side, Mark Hunt's pissed a 3rd fight in a row ended with his opponent getting busted for drugs and pretty much wants half of Lesnar's $2.5 million fight purse as compensation or he's leaving the company for good.

#BROKEN Hasney 07-16-2016 05:12 AM

Damn, hot week of wrasslin next week.
  • Raw and Smackdown new GMs (whatever)
  • LIVE Smackdown draft
  • Broken Matt Hardy
  • NXT
  • Cruiserweight Classic
  • Lucha Underground
  • Battleground feat. Shield Triple Threat main event

I'm pretty stoked for most of that

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 05:34 AM

Brock's violation is just going to make him hotter, unless he cannot compete at SummerSlam because the New York commission refuses to let Brock compete. Orton could easily use that for promo fuel. They could actually create some build to the eventual match they have.

If I was a full timer in WWE, I'd be as pissed as Mark Hunt is.

The WWF recently purchased a shark fishing license on the Great Barrier Reef to prevent anyone else from using it.
This is the same reason why WWE keeps Heath Slater under contract.

Emperor Smeat 07-16-2016 12:33 PM

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the reason why Lesnar won't be suspended for the failed drug test is due to a clause in the Wellness Policy that only affects full-time wrestlers.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thanks to <a href="https://twitter.com/adecorativedrop">@adecorativedrop</a> for finding the Wellness Policy verbiage I was talking about in regards to part-timers. <a href="https://t.co/mw7O6jRzw9">pic.twitter.com/mw7O6jRzw9</a></p>&mdash; Ryan Satin (@ryansatin) <a href="https://twitter.com/ryansatin/status/754110677707427840">July 16, 2016</a></blockquote>

Observer thinks the Summerslam fight of Lesnar vs Orton likely is going to get called off because once the Nevada Commission issues a suspension, New York and any other state with a wrestling commission will not allow him to wrestle till the suspension is over. Could be up to 2 years since its his first offense.

More serious than Roman Reigns suspension because of the publicity of it ...

Alvarez points out that Lesnar passed 5 of 6 tests in a 3 week span, and failed the 6th, so that's weird. Meltzer however mentions that this has happened before ...

Once Nevada starts a hearing, and if he's suspended by the commission, he will be suspended from any commission in any state that regulates prowrestling too, which means that he wouldn't even be able to fight in SummerSlam (NY) ...

There's precedent on suspending/firing people for failing outside drug tests (Billy Gunn)

Being speculated the WWE might have known about Lesnar's failure ahead of it being made public which could explain his sudden removal from next week's live Smackdown show.

Really hope he isn't suspended for 2 years. Lesnar is one of the only reasons I still watch main roster stuff.

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 07:50 PM

He'll be able to work some places. It might actually make them think about how they are using him. His soured note with the UFC also means he loses leverage with WWE.

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 07:51 PM

Kind of want Sasha Banks to have her own division on SmackDown. Have Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Paige have their own stories on RAW, but Banks gets her own spotlight on SmackDown with the WWE bringing in a rogues gallery for her.

You can't be suspended from sports entertainment for 2 years. They must mean UFC.

ClockShot 07-16-2016 08:04 PM

Don't know if it was mentioned in the brand split thread.

But, according to my Yahoo homepage, Daniel Bryan is the Smackdown GM.

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 08:08 PM

If they can't get Brock Lesnar to work SummerSlam, do you think they'll plant seeds for a Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho match at Battleground?

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 08:09 PM

I've got a weird feeling that Beth Phoenix might be returning to the WWE as early as Battleground.

#BROKEN Hasney 07-16-2016 08:18 PM

Fuck it, have the Brock/Orton match, then have EVAN BOURNE interfere and beat them both in a impromptu triple threat, because noone gets higher than EVAN BOURNE

Mr. Nerfect 07-16-2016 08:23 PM

Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar as the PEDophiles vs. Seth Rollins & Mark Hunt at SummerSlam. Triple H cashes in his rematch against Dean Ambrose for the WWE Title.

Damian Rey 2.0 07-16-2016 08:39 PM
