Cm punk should take that buyout then go to WWE who actually forces him to suck that blood covered Saudi dick.

While I do not think that the PPV is in trouble of being cancelled, I wonder what the backup plan is. There is no way HHH doesn't have a PPV this weekend

I posted this a while back, but I love this video lol. Probably the only time I've found anything Rotunda entertaining post US Express
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here’s a squash that didn’t go well.<br><br>Death Row was huge and green. Mike Rotunda tried to get a match out of him, but the dude just wasn’t going with it. <br><br>Rotunda had to take the dude to the ground and stretch the hell out of him multiple times before legitimately pinning Row. <a href="https://t.co/voksBKkgpY">pic.twitter.com/voksBKkgpY</a></p>— WCW Deep Cuts (@DeepCutsWCW) <a href="https://twitter.com/DeepCutsWCW/status/1588313516632440832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 3, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Kinda wish the had continued. After that really nasty hammer lock is let go Row elbows Rotunda hard in the jaw. Immediately Rotunda pops him in the mouth and before Row concedes to the pin there's a split second where you think this might get real fun.

Mike Rotunda puts Death Row in a front facing spinal lock for a second or five at around 1min 17seconds of that video. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that before. Looks like a twister you rarely see in MMA only done from a mounted position.
It’s like he’s mad but not trying to kill him yet. |
All through that match you can hear Rotunda giving the guy options. He’s not even being a dick.
|
He literally asks him ”How about it?” while he’s stretching him in a hammerlock lol.
Rotunda knows the price. |
Also lol @ neck hair.
That’s the Hogan hair but only on the neck. Severe Hogan. |
Rotunda wasnt even being mean. He couldve ripped his rotator cuff clean off in the hammer lock. Alls he has to do is drop his weight from that angle. He didnt. He wasnt trying to hurt the guy.
the 1st time was to cover a botch, thats the stf after the waist lock. He gives him enough to get his attention then transitions into talking the arm, getting the match to their feet, and straight into the corner to let Row get his shit in Only to immediately regret his choice |
Class act from where im sitting
|
That STF was a legit taste of a spinal lock for a second though. Even the smoke from a dragon’s flame will suck the air out of your lungs.
Also I busted my rotator cuff years ago and it ruined my arm for most of a decade. |
Its a terrible injury. Lotta guys never recover
|
Can confirm, fucked mine up as a teenager and it still hurts if I use that arm much. Few throwing motions and it's painful af.
|
R-Truths injury is believed to be a torn quad. At his age thats going to be especially brutal. Gonna be a long time before we see him, if ever. Hope he can at least heal up enough to get a retirement feud/match because he deserves to go out better than this.
|
They’ll look after him. He’ll be used somewhere and get to contribute.
|
funnily enough that's the only interesting Rotunda match I've seen outside of his tagwork with Windham.
|
He's so bland. Like Bret Hart bland.

Braun Strowman said something stupid on Twitter. Mustafa Ali said something stupid back. Ricochet threw in his two cents.
That’s AEW level shit. I think you have to get rid of Braun and Ali. |
Serpentico is attacking Braun for his drawing ability. What universe am I living in?
|
Ospreay the only rational person in that convo. Which is surpring given how bad some of his twitter takes were in the past.
Really dumb thing to say from braun though. Yeah, lets just publically bury the guys you work with, because some internet marks said you cant wrestle and you cant handle it. |
if you didn't realize it was a joke when he said "47 stars" then you seriously need help.
|
meltzer sheep
|
Gonna be hilarious watching the Braun/Ali match they will definitely book now.
|
And look at Noid here
CM Punk buries coworkers and he's the good guy in the situation. Braun makes a joke about Meltzer and everyone that constantly gives him shit for not being a good wrester compared to all the spot monkeys of the world and he's the bad guy and has to be fired. |
objectivity baby
|
And Braun didn't name drop anyone either, so who exactly was he burying?
That said, all the wrestlers getting on his ass (Ali, Serpentico, Richochet, Ospreay, etc) are all definitely better wrestlers than him. But that's never been or ever will be Brauns appeal. Being a jacked up genetic freak is. There's a million of those little guys who can work circles around him but they'll never be the spectacle he is. All of them should know their roles and shut their mouths. |
WWE gonna run an angle about Strowman and Ali needing to do some therapy, and by therapy I mean make them a random tag team, playa. Then they can learn to respect each other as they smash their way through the tag team division.

He can say whatever whacky thing he wants to at the start, but end of the day, he's still burying a whole group of people. Braun works with all these guys so Im sure he didn't actually mean it and was just working, but a general rule in wrestling has been to not bury people because not only is just bad form and lazy, but if you end up being booked to lose against that person, then you look pretty stupid too. And with the amount of flippy floppy guys in the company hes bound to lose to one of them at some point. |
And for the record I agree with Braun. Cool to see two big beefy man mountains, slap meat. But let the work speak for itself.

Braun Strowman is such an interesting dude. One of the most perfect genetic specimens to ever walk the Earth, who became the hottest thing in his profession after only a couple of years and won the world title at Wrestlemania, who has made millions of dollars and met his wife doing what he loves, and is willing to throw that all away multiple times because some nerds he doesn’t know said mean things about him on the internet.
|
It really is a silly argument b/c different wrestlers work differently and it works for them. Of course the bigger guys aren't going to work the same as smaller guys. Also, fans like different things so no one approach is superior. But the one common thread I find in wrestlers are over regardless of size or in ring style is charisma/personality. If you can excite the crowd they'll be into you.

It just goes to show he doesn’t “get it.” We get it, there are a lot of bad habits in wrestling. Braun’s got some of his own. But being so petty is just counterproductive. And Ali’s just reeks of smugness. I cannot believe these companies don’t have social media policies yet. |
Braun, Will, Ricochet, Ali, Serpentico, EC3, Meltzer, and any other wrestler that wants to get in on this discussion, just remember, they could all beat CM Phil in a shoot fight :rofl::rofl:

Nick Aldis put up an IG video yesterday saying that he was leaving the NWA when his deal was up in January due to creative differences with Billy Corgan, and he said he felt the promotion was getting too embarrassing to be a part of any more. He then deleted the video.
Today it was announced the NWA has suspended him and pulled him from all events, presumably until his contract is up. Basically treating a perfect throwback wrestler in Aldis the way they have whilst also pretending to be a "throwback" wrestling promotion really puts into focus how hypocritical they are as an organization. Unfortunately I can't see a real perfect home for Aldis anywhere else. Guy is good but so are a lot of other people who have central roles in promotions. |

With his size and look, he should have been one of the top stars ever, but he never seemed fully committed. 1. Chris Candido was way better than anyone gave him credit for. But he had the same problem that Mike Bennett has now: his valet was a bigger deal than he was, by a large margin. At least during his WWF run, there wasn't 5 guys who looked just like Candido. 2. I hear a lot of people compare Omos to Great Khali negatively. I still stand by this: If Omos accomplishes half of what Khali did, his career will be viewed as a success. And none of that has anything to do with in ring ability or lack thereof. Also, Omos is already better than El Gigante ever was. |

Makes zero sense that Theory would cash in for a secondary title, even if he would have won. I don't know if anybody else on the whole roster has suffered more with Vince gone than Theory. |

That sounds fucking horrible. I guess the idea is to portray Theory as a straight-up idiot? The dude is talented as hell, so maybe he fucked up big backstage?
You could have had him cash in on Bron Breakker under Paul Heyman’s advice. You don’t want the ire of the Tribal Chief. MITB is a done concept. It has sucked for a long, long time. But if you’re going to do it, I think it would work better if the title shot didn’t expire. Then there wouldn’t be pressure to just do anything with it. Theory could hold it for ages. |
A US title run would have been great for theory. As it was happening I was like wow, this is a great idea.
Then he lost. |
